      I have spoken with ******* in customer service at least 3 times for a refund. I have sent no less than 7 phone voicemails with zero call backs. Company received my returned items on December 24th and I was told the refund would take a few days. After telling them to return money to my card no one has responded. Number to business is being spoofed with no actual call center.

      I ordered a 1080P HD WiFi Smoke Detector Hidden Camera with Night Vision and 6 Month Battery from www.SpyGearGadgets.com, for a friend of mine who wanted me to install this in the kitchen of his restaurant to monitor after-hours activity. The seller shipped the item and I received it. My friend, subsequently changed his mind and decided he no longer wanted/needed the device. I contacted the seller regarding returning the unused item which had not even been turned on and they claim that there would be a 20% restocking fee. This is incorrect, according to their Return Policy posted on their website. However, I did utilize the *** # that they provided for me and shipped the item back to them. I have not heard anything since. I have emailed them several times, to no avail. The phone number listed on their website goes straight to voicemail and the "online chat" feature on their website claims that their agents are "busy".

      I wanted to inform you that since the purchase for this item was made using my PayPal account, I was able to receive a refund of $140 from PayPal for this.  The original purchase price was $175, but the seller had informed me that I would be charged a 20% restocking fee, which equates to $140.

      While, in principle, I feel the seller should refund the restocking fee, I am not going to pursue the matter further. 

      You may close the complaint, with a negative notation towards the seller.

      Date of transactions November 9, 2021. Purchased product from SpyGearGadget.com for $419.45 & $134.50. Clearlight Electronics is the company that shows on my bank statement and mailed box. Products were mailed but do not work. Called, emailed and filled out support assistance form online numerous times. No one gets back to me. Box received had no return information in it. Their policy states returns are only allowed within a 14 day window from time received. Since no one will get back to me I am not able to return items. Phone number I call is ************.       I purchased a 1080 HD WiFi Internet Streaming Weather Station Clock Hidden Camera w/ Micro SD Card 128 GB (on or about) 8/23/2021 for a Grand Total of $203.95. The device does not work as expected. I have tried 2-3 calls per week to technical support as well as attempted website "chat" and sent an email as listed on website to: [email protected]. I have not heard back from anyone from any of the options listed on their website for support. (https://www.SpygearGadgets.com/contact-us.html) I sent an email asking for a refund. The package did not come with any return/refund documents. I would like a full-refund and to report this company. This transaction appears to be deceptive and fraud-related since the product does not work, no return/refund documents sent with order and no response of any form from their contact options.

      This guy will rip you off. I wanted to return a product for an exchange or refund (same packaging and state as delivered), and asked him how to return it. After many calls and E-mails he responded once. He told me to just return it to the address (*******, **). I paid the shipping costs because he provided no return label. In good faith I did so. It has been 25 days since he received the item according to the tracking number, with no exchange or refund. Nobody answers the phone number provided on the website. I received 2 E-mails from him, the last asking me to provide the order# or RMA#. Remember he never provided a return label (RMA); he told me to just mail it to him. With each of the numerous E-mails I sent to him I included the proof of delivery *** tracking number, and order information . I sent him records of everything pertaining to this transaction. This 2 E-mail strategy appears to be a pattern leading customers to believe he will eventually fulfill his end of the deal.
