Dental design in Fort Wayne indiana performed a pulmonary on a baby tooth. That was completely unnecessary and didnt consult me before the dentist laughed and made jokes and made us feel comfortable. Then after was done said oh sign this which not thinking anything if I signed due to how nicely we were treated. Then after I signed at the end I add I was given a referral to a different Fort Wayne dentist office to place a cap on the baby tooth that was not even bothering my son! Why did they send my son to a different dentist when they put caps on children? Because my insurance didnt cover the cap but it covered what he wanted to perform. I called several debtist offices and found that I was being lied to and fraud was being committed when called back on Friday 12-2-22 and confronted them about the fraud they said they would get back to me on Monday12-5-22 I received a call apologizing and saying that they would take care of it free of charge the next day 12-6-22 at 3 pm at 11:30 I received a call stating they would definitely take care of tooth and would be first on the list but they no longer had there dr with them anymore and it would be a couple weeks for the transition my first question is why would they do this to a child leaving them in severe pain and secondly why would they be so willing to fix the issue if it wasnt fraudulent it had already been over a week trying to sort this mess out and they wanted couple more weeks for my son to be miserable with no crown so they can fix what they had done wrong I asked to take to my son to dentist they recommended and they billed which they denied they were only willing to fix the tooth themselves. Very sad situation especially right before the holidays I hope no parent has to go through what dental design has done to my son I will be getting all dentist documents from them immediately!

I was in the process of receiving a dental procedure when Dental Design began cancelling mutiple appointments regarding the delivery of affore mentioned procedure. I indicated that I would be seeking a different company to complete this procedure and asked for a partial refund of monies paid in advance of delivery and have not received any kind of reimbursement via my insurance company (Anthem) or the portion that was paid as out of pocket (co-pay). The procedure dates began on or around 06/09/2022 and up to the original delivery date of 07/25/2022. I have reached out to Dental Design and Heartland Dental who I was informed was an affiliate that handles refunds only to be told that they have received no notice about any pending reimbursement. I have uploaded some supporting documents regarding billing and would mention that the please pay amount on bill was the final out-of-pocket portion that was to be paid in full on 07/25/2022 upon delivery

I am rejecting this response because:

Dental Designs response is the very reason why I filed a complaint with the BBB. Dental Design and Heartland Dental have passed me off to one another in my attempts to be reimbursed. Both Dental Design and Heartland Dental are responsible for these isssues, and in the end Dental Design accepted my payment and if you accept payments then you can reimburse payments. I will remain diligent in exposing both of these companys for what I would consider sub standard service. Please notice the attachment I have included and the fact that Dental Design is the name on the bill I have never received any correspondence from Heartland Dental.
