My granddaughter has been going to this gym since it opened and has learned so much in such a short time. She has already competed three seasons with CGC and I am impressed with how many times she has placed, especially on bars. Coach ***** is great with the kids, connects with them, and has a way of helping them understand what she is trying to teach them. Safety seems to be very important to Coach *****. I highly recommend that if youre looking to put your child in gymnastics or tumbling, bring them to Calumet Gymnastics Club.

My review of the Calumet Gymnastics Club Where do I begin. My daughter went there for over a year and competed a full season, so this isnt just someone who trialed it and didnt like it. Its wildly unsafe (has 5 year old girls learning to do dangerous new skills like back handsprings completely unsupervised), ***** girls being coached by 1-2 coaches at a time, incredibly unprofessional ownership (spews personal issues around in front of the girls and parents), starts text fights with parents that dont agree with her (I have the screenshots to prove it - if you want to see, send me a DM), the drama at this place is nothing short of a real life Dance Moms as I have seen a few parents literally leave because of other parents bullying them. After being told how great our daughter was doing (and all the other girls on team 2) and how they should compete at level 2 (just a big money grab), we decided after the safety concerns and lack of adequate coaching to go look elsewhere. Both gyms that we tried told us (and the other top girl on the team) that they were radically unprepared and under coached. So instead of being ahead of the game like we thought they were, theyre actually behind the 8-ball. When we decided to leave, we had a ton of false accusations and rumors spread about us (which, again, we can disprove with screenshots), and the owner started harassing us via text, then when we started defending ourself, she threatens us with a restraining order saying WE were harassing her (again, all of the screenshots to prove it if you want to see them send me a DM). Go to this gym if you want your kids to s**** around, coach themselves, compete at a very low level, and have the most unprofessional role model that I have ever encountered in my life. Just watch, this review will either get 1. Deleted, 2. An argumentative response from said owner, or 3. Lies will be spewed about me. Again, remember, I have screenshots to prove ALL of this.

Hello DJ, You should have gotten your notice of appearance for court by now for your continued harassment not only to me, but to several other parents who are happy with our facility. You even unblocked one parent just to bully them into taking down a positive review. I truly hope that you seek help, as you have become obsessed with this smear campaign, and have taken it to a very unhealthy level. I hope you find a way to let this go so you can go back to attending your families needs. I wish the best for you and your family.
