  My elderly father had been a member of Angie's lists. He was a cabient maker. for the past 3 years he has not been working. He has called Angie's list to stop his leads. But they apparently continued to send leads to him. Leads he never recieved or contacted anyone. Leads that often were not relevent to him (i.e not even in the vacinity that he would be able to work). And my father is 78 years old living off SS. I called and spoke to "****" . Informed him that I had a POA and my father's account needed to be COMPLETELY CLOSED. He cancelled the account.

  I have been a customer with *********************** ads for almost 3 years. The first year was great. The second year I was not making as much as I was spending and 2025 by far was the worst year. My revenue has gone down because of the abundant amount that Im spending monthly to keep their platform. ithaine ***** was my success manager, and he was very unprofessional misled me. I have email documentations showing where he lied when I was looking to cancel my agreement. I do not recommend any contractor to do business with Angie ads because they will mislead you and take all your money and not care when its time to cancel. They say they would waive the cancellation contract fee but now they are telling me otherwise stating that I would owe $1900 upon cancellation. I will be dealing with corporate directly, and I have already contacted our business attorney in regard to this matter. I suggest contractors finding another source of advertising and use Angi as a last resort.

  Actually would give zero stars if possible. This is a scam with fake leads, even real leads rarely produce work. I spent $280 on leads to get one, $600 job. I reported Angi to the **************************** for selling fake leads. Angi admitted no wrong doing but refunded every ***** I had ever spent. They have been sued many times. Unless you are prepared to file an official complaint with your state's Attorney General, be prepared to be abused, ignored and lied to. Angi is a scam. A total, fraudulent, intentional scam. Why they are allowed to operate is beyond me.

  Well it looks like I fall under the many other contractors who signed up on Angi only to fall into a big scam, lies ,deceiving misrepresentation of quality leads. Everything that I read from other contractors is true I'm a small drywall company that was looking to generate lots of jobs only to be disappointed after my first month. I seen their ads a lot on ******** and thought to myself I wonder if I could get on there as a contractor and generate a lot of jobs from that. A couple of weeks went by after seeing a lot of commercials on ******** and then my neighbor tells me he's joined Angi as a contractor so I thought hey why not me. So I called and got the sales pitch that I've seen every other contractor complain about. But I had no idea what I was getting myself into I got the plan for $650 a month with a 30% discount paying $455 a month was guaranteed 12 to 20 quality leads and I would be the first contractor they talk to. After I got my platform set up Monday morning I started getting leads and one week I got 11 leads. One of them was a scam artist wanting my bank information one of them was incorrect contact information five others was never able to speak to the client message after message email after email no response but I was still credited as it was a quality lead. So I only got four leads and only three of them paid off. When I called and complained about it all I got was to run around basically we don't do refunds or credit you paid for that lead. So today I decided to research and find all this bad news from contractors so I decided to ****** my credit card number out from underneath them and dispute the charges with my credit card company business **************** member since 2004. Also filed a complaint with the ************************* and this complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Also called *** News to let them know what they are doing to small business contractors and also homeowners. All other contractors do the same thing file complaints

  Man I cant believe I got scammed by Angi, if you can see that were all getting screwed by angi then you should stay away from them and go with someone else, ANGI IS A BIG TIME SCAMMER!!!

  Do not use Angies or home advisor to get lead for jobs they just want your money, they dont care if you get the jobs all the leads I had never answer the phone call or e mail text or anything, if they answer they told me to stop calling them, so no in my experience seems to be fake so, no I will not recommend, also the people from Angies call me about a payment because they didnt get it, my business card got scamm the bank had to lock it and the people from Angies threat me to take to collections not even in the first month working with them so becare full with them !! So no never recommended to use Angies or home advisor

  Angi partners with ****** to provide "professionals" to install products purchased through ******. We had a plumber contracted through Angi install our toilet, and then a flooring company come replace the bathroom floor. The floor installers said that the ****** on the toilet was broken and that it could not be used until a plumber came to fix it. It worked fine before the floor was replaced, so uncertain if the floor installers broke it or if it was installed incorrectly to begin with. We've now been without a toilet for over two weeks. Angi has booked 5 different appointments so far for the toilet to be replaced (****** is providing a replacement at no charge), and each appointment gets canceled or rescheduled within an hour before the scheduled start time. I have taken 4 days off of work to sit at home and wait for a plumber just for no one to show up. I do not understand why Angi makes these appointments without actually confirming anything with a plumber first. They just post the job and wait for someone to "claim" it and if no one does before the scheduled appointment, they cancel it. By then, I've already missed work and wasted a day sitting around waiting. **************** was also dismissive, unsympathetic, and rushed to get rid of me without providing any sort of solution or assistance. The contractors that Angi has sent so far have been very unprofessional and have not done a good job with our bathroom remodel. The floor installers caused damage in our garage, were rude to us, and partially covered a vent with tile when replacing the flooring; not to mention the toilet that still doesn't work.

  Terrible, horrible experience. We first scheduled a "pro" to come fix our **** on Wednesday, April 23. He never showed up, but our card was charged. It was rescheduled for Friday but we got a call that it would be rescheduled again for Saturday. The "pro" did not call but sent a text to our account's inbox that he was on site. We were never told communication happened in our inbox. Other communication had been by phone. This "pro" left without doing the job but the job was listed as Completed. After some communication, It was rescheduled for Thursday, May 1, but a "pro" (this one was helpful) called and said the job had been cancelled. We did not cancel it. Nevertheless, this morning, May 1, we were notified that a "pro" would come at 9:00. Then a call saying the job was cancelled (again!). So we are charged for a service that never happened. Unbelievable. Also, when you call ***************** the wait time has been 80 minutes long. The chat service on their site is digital--can't get a human. We will never recommend Angi.

  The worst of the worst. I ordered their mattress haul service through an online furniture store. Angi cancelled my order and never gave my money back. They kept lying to me by saying they already issued the refund. Nothing was done. I had to contact the furniture store and get help from them to contact Angi. Angi never did what they were supposed to do to issue the refund at all. They are awful. I hope more people come to see the reviews before they do business with them.
