    I moved in to one of Flaherty And Collins apartment buildings located in ******************************, IN, senior living, the month they opened &began moving tenants in. Last night I was not well when I got home so I parked in front of the building &decided Id move my vehicle the next morning. When I got to the front door of the building the next morning @9:25a I noticed I had been boxed in by two people from the front office, ******* (office manager), & ****** (District Manager). I went back inside &asked them to move so I could get out &move to the parking lot. I was immediately notified by ****** I was going to be written up for parking in a no parking zone. This is the very place they both have been parking from the moment they arrived. (I didnt care they were parking there.). I was so humiliated &caught off guard so insisted they write me up so I had documentation of how ridiculous ongoing misuse of power continues to exist. Once I got outside near my vehicle, ******* yelled you parked there just to spite me. I replied so youre the one whose been parking here all this time but no, thats not what happened cause when I got home yesterday evening, I wasnt feeling well so I parked here so I could quickly get to my apartment. I went on to point out I had never parked out front overnight since I lived here. Then ****** asked who said no one was supposed to park here and I told her the office manager who was here when I moved in, ****. She replied well Im District or regional manager (cant recall) &what **** said wasnt true. Again I requested that write up for my file then I moved to the parking lot. What I found out was no one is supposed to park there due to fire hydrant being so close to the vehicles &would interfere with fire department should emergency occur. @3:58p I was served by ******* with a written warning &recert package for my lease. Thats the misuse of power I have mentioned above.

    CORPORATE OFFICE FAILS TO RESPOND TO COMPLAINTS...THEY TELL YOU IN AN EMAIL, THAT SOMEBODY WILL BE IN TOUCH, BUT THEY BLOW YOU OFF...I LIVE AT AXIS APARTMENTS, HAD A MAJOR **** IN MY APARTMENT, WAS PROMISED $500/OFF MY RENT...THEN, *****, THE MANAGER, PUT IN $100.00...**** POOR, AND SO IS THE MAINTENANCE...

    Currently, I submitted my rent for July through the **** portal and the payment did not clear because my bank posted other ACH payments before they clear that. Point being I called the office and talked to one girl and told her what happened. She didnt even know that the payment had been returned yet, she told me I could resubmit it through the portal as long as I hadnt had any prior returns which I did not I put the payment through the portal it went through and then I get a nasty note from the property manager, threatening me with the eviction and legal fees This particular property manager *********************** Apts personality is horrible. Terrible person to deal with.

    RUN!!I rented a 1bedroom 1bath from the banks, it was a 15 month lease that ended on march 30th, 2024. On February 1st, 2024 I gave them my 2 month notice in writing that I was not going to be renewing my lease and would be out by my end of lease date. This was a 58 day notice that Id be leaving at the end of my lease. BE CAREFUL, per contract you must give them a 60 day notice! They charged me a fee of $3,500.00 for insufficient notice, which is two months of rent. I respected their property, was never late on a payment, never violated any rules or created any issues, and left the unit move in ready. They took my security deposit and sent the rest to collections. This place doesnt care about you, they care about their money and they will get it by being deceitful. Not worth it!

    As former employee I can tell you that they do not value the good staff that they have. I feel that all my efforts were in vane. They were extremely unprofessional, some of the people I worked with were using drugs and when I complained about how the drug usage was affecting my job they made me out to be the problem. I guess respecting others is not a part of their work culture. The property I was working at is going downhill fast. It's dirty. Has several maintenance issues and extremely poor management.

    Currently living at ************** in ********* . I have had issues since the first day I was here.Management is awful. ************ NEVER RESPONDS. Ever. Office is always locked so there is almost no way to contact them for help/questions. The phone goes straight to voicemail 90% of the time.My leasing agent told me to wait to pay my first months rent until she gave me the pro-rated amount. She was late and gave it to me after the grace ****** and I ended up getting charged a late fee. I attempted to contact the office for over FOUR months to get it fixed and I was ignored constantly. I even emailed the associate directly with no response, however she replied to another email I sent so I knew she was ignoring me on purpose. This caused me to fall behind in my rent and they tried to send me eviction notices.The regional manager doesn't exist. You can't call her, her email blocks any messages automatically. I'm sure she is not even real.Maintenance doesn't fix anything. My fridge currently keeps freezing over in the back of the freezer. I have to defrost it every 2-3 months or else my fridge will fluctuate in temperature, go warm and spoil my food (which it has already done multiple times.) They looked at it once. I submitted a second work order and voicemail & have not gotten a response. Now I can't even use it because I don't know when it will get warm & spoil my food! My garbage disposal already wasn't working when I first moved in, it shook the entire counter! That wasn't recorded in move in paperwork. The other repairs haven't been touched and I've been living here for about 9 months already.There are roaches. I notified them and have not seen anyone sort of pest control.I overheard workers in the office talking about the residents and laughing at their voicemails. This is what they must do instead of answering the phone.That's not even all of it. It's been so stressful living here. They are taking advantage of people who are low-income/disabled.

    Trash, trash, trash. Very unprofessional! Just on yesterday one of the staff committed fraud. And of course they are servicing a population that is considered "low-income". The chances of the tenant winning are slim to none. My advice call an attorney!

    Excessive Charges on My Bill ** my May bill, I noticed a sudden increase of $100 for plumbing services. The property management company claimed that this charge was due to an issue that occurred in my bathroom in April, which resulted in a clogged drain. This was in the main line, so if the apartment in the high level used their toilet, it would overflow in my toilet. After they fixed the drain line, they left without cleaning the place. Furthermore, when I arrived to pay my bill this month, I was shocked to discover an additional charge of over $300. These extra fees were attributed to late payment penalties, which I find highly unreasonable. It is important to note that I have diligently paid my rent on time in the past, and this sudden influx of charges has left me financially burdened.I have been met with inadequate explanations and unsatisfactory responses.Given the circumstances, I am left with no choice but to request your intervention. I kindly ask that you investigate this matter thoroughly and help facilitate a fair resolution between myself and the property management company.
