On 12-1-24 **************** purchased a 2015 ***** Impala from our dealership. He also purchased a repair agreement with that vehicle and approximately a month after purchase it was discovered the motor was faulty. It was covered by the repair agreement and the motor was replaced. After the motor was replaced it was also discovered that there was some faulty wiring and we sent the vehicle to a GM dealership to further diagnose the issue. After a complete diagnosis we found that the wiring issue was too extensive to continue any repairs. Out of good faith, we offered to trade **************** out of the 2015 ***** Impala into a different vehicle. He agreed to that and chose a 2014 ************. The new sale took place on 2/22/2024. ******************** contract on the 2014 ***** Malibu was set up for $375 per month starting on March 23rd, 2024. On March 23, 2024 **************** paid $200 which left $175 still due. On April 23, 2024 another payment of $375 came due. So on March 25, 2024 since no other payment had been made, ******************** vehicle was repossessed because he was in default of his contract. And, as per his contract, we exercised our right to ask for full payoff plus any applicable fees to redeem the vehicle. I am attaching a copy of ******************** contract and the pay history showing that he was in default. If there are any further questions, please feel free to contact me back.
Thank You,

I purchased a vehicle from this company Auto sales and service located on **** Arlington Ave and another location on ********************** that I am currently making payments on This vehicle has already broken down twice. I have purchased another car from this place before and which I have paid off, so I thought that I could rely on them for a dependable vehicle for my children and I. I have 2 children that I have to transport to and from daycare while I work. This company has made me pay for the repairs on this vehicle twice and I have only had it a little over 2 months. I feel that this is very unfair and I believe this vehicle is about to break down or go completely out on me once again leaving without a way to get to work and get my children to daycare. I have no one to help me and am forced to take public transportation when my car is broken down. I am trying the best that I can and trying to do the right thing, If my car breaks down on me again I am afraid that I will be left in a situation to where I am making payments on a vehicle that I cant drive because, I cant afford to keep getting it fixed while making a payment. especially ,only having it under 3 months. They already fixed the radiator and the second repair was cranked cam sensor. I am ask that you all please help me with this matter.Initial Complaint

We leased a Buick Rendezvous from them about two weeks prior to Christmas, 2022. Sales tax was due on the 31st yet we worked that whole day & intended to pay the following Monday after New Year's. On wakeup, January 2nd, the car was towed. Shortly after I was told I'd need to return key so that we could get our belongings out of it. The sales tax was $349 & they also charged $300 for re-po fee. I took them key & was informed that no one would be able to gather our belongings that day b/c car was off-site -- away from the sales lot. Returned the next day, January 3rd, and we were told again that they only go out once a day to collect other cars, belongings, etc. So we got a call hours later that they brought the car back to the sale lot on Arlington Ave & upon arriving we find my wallet missing, my husband's work tools (he is electrician), *********** works, along w other misc. items missing from the Buick. We called the police who informed us they have a number of complaints from this business. We will more than likely be following up to get compensation from the items stolen. They merely informed us that they thoroughly background check their employees & the car was locked the entire time. Which would be impossible given we had to return the key prior to getting what belonging were left after the theft.Business response

The vehicle this customer is referring to was NOT a lease, they financed the vehicle with us (Auto Sales & Service) on 12-2-22. The customer had a deferred down payment of $350 which was due on 12-31-22 and was informed when they purchased the vehicle that NO arrangements can be made on that payment. The vehicle was repossessed on 1-2-23 for default of contract. The customer did express they wanted their belongings and was told the vehicle is stored at an off site secure facility and is locked, which is why we needed them to bring the key so that our employees could go and clean the vehicle out. The customer immediately said they had $3000 worth of tools in the vehicle and nothing "better be missing". Our employees have ALL been employed here for years and they DO undergo a background check, we do not steal customer's personal property. We cannot verify what was in the customer's vehicle, just like they cannot verify what was in the vehicle.
I have attached a copy of the customer's signed contract showing the payment plan. I have also attached a statement, signed by the customer, showing that they knew no arrangements could be made on their deferred down payment. If there are any further questions please feel free to contact me.
Thanks,

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. It was not a deferred payment it was a sales tax payment which I told the one guy that I worked all weekend that I would have to make the payment on a Monday... I work all weekend and was unable to make it I've tried calling and it kept saying VM was full ... Not to ment I have pictures and VM of everything... And as they stated there workers cleaned out the car .. not us.... So therefore they did take the items... Even my wallet cash and three bags.. tools (over $3000) bath and body works eye buds and much more .. they even took my baby tablet he just got for Christmas that he never got to play with.... I have pictures of the tool bags being in the car.... I have VM of them saying they having to tow the car back to the lot but yet told me otherwise.. they drove the car back to the lot .. $350 was also in the car that was taken(was paying that to them) but it came up missing... Yea they might have background checks but they can also still be thieves ... I'm still pressing charges and sueing them bc my fiance been out of work for three weeks now due to his tools(electrician) being stolen.... And yes I can prove that the materials was in the car....I wanna continue this to the courts... I have documents as in VM and pics ... Everything was taking out the car besides my baby car seat..... Once again I wanna take them to court and continue to sue ********************************** details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]

On 10/1/21 i purchased a pickup truck 2013 *** ****** from autosales and service with the car salesman *************************. ***** stated that the check engine light was on due to the gas cap however that turned out to be false. In the course of 6weeks time i had to take the truck up there and let them work on it or sit until they could get it in. When the *** ****** was returned every time the check engine light would come on i would continue to take it back up there and they will take it to be fixed and finally they stated the truck had a bad engine and that they were going to either fix it and i would be without a car until its done and it could take weeks or i can get another vehicle off the lot. So finally sometime in late November maybe early December i was able to get another vehicle 2011 ***** surburban from them and again after having it right at the ***** day **** the engine light has came on. I have taken to them and they took it for service for a oil pressure switch and charged me $250 after only having the vehicle barely outside the 30 day ****.I received the vehicle back and the very same day the check engine light came on as i was driving it. Myself and my husband talked to the car lot about the issues they stated to him to take it somewhere to get fixed on our own and the money we paid them to fix will be credit to our next payment. But when i called and spoke with a representative for. The lot she stated that she would get back with me and has not at this point almost 2 weeks later. I have taken it to another shop and they stated it was not fixed and they just turned off the check engine light .They also stated that it was the oil pressure sensor and the cost will be $600+ To repair the truck. At this time we are aware that its a used car lot , they are selling bad cars and at this time we have put a down payment of $3000 plus all payments of $240 since October first have been made and we are still have no car that is dependable.Initial Complaint
