*** lied on his seller's disclosure about the state of the house. He stated all new plumbing and pipes were placed, but I had to have everything snaked by a plumber who stated that there was years worth of roots in all my piping, so it wasn't replaced at all. *** stated that I have a septic tank, however he has no idea where it is located, when it was pumped last, or if it actually truly existed in the ground. The gutters on my house were installed onto rotted wood, so during a storm, the gutters and part of the roof fell off the side of the house. I had to replace the wood and gutters. *** said there has been no flooding issues in the past, however my basement severely flood in January 2022 and has continued to flood since then. I have had a basement waterproofing company come out and say that the previous owner before *** knew that it had flooded due to evidence of a bad attempt at waterproofing, so *** had to have known as well but failed to disclose the information. Now that a drywall company has come out remove drywall and studs to be able to waterproof my basement, they have shown me that the foundation is severely caved in and cracked, and they are stating that *** had to have known because all of the studs and drywall is brand new from the previous owner, so there is no way he did not see the foundation. *** posted a video onto his Facebook account showing the renovation of this home, and you can clearly see water on the ground and the cracks in the foundation, so *** has posted video proof of his knowledge of the damages. When confronted with all of this information, *** has said that he does not care, just go ahead and sue him because he will get out of it by changing his company LLC. He knowingly lied on all of his official legal documents. *** flips home and is a realtor for those homes that he flips, but has not taken the responsibility of honesty when selling his houses. I purchased this house for $212k, cost of repairs is roughly $40k.
