This business is a complete joke. They are all committing numerous amounts of fraud, and they have been sued numerous times for this reason. They wont return your phone calls, and they wont give you plates for your vehicle if you are out of state. For some reason we purchased a vehicle in September, it wasnt funded until October, and here its January and our tags expired in December. Specifically Acura of Palatine. Specifically ****** who is the finance manager. He signed names he wasnt supposed to, payment packed our deal, and completely lied in order to scam us into a purchase. He is a coward and a **** pore excuse for a finance manager. Oh and *** this review will not be taken down.

I purchased a vehicle from ****** ******* in June 2021. I bought the extended warranty and promised the money would be returned if I didn't want it any longer. The ****** was totalled on july 2023 and I contacted ******* (Finance Mgr) and the General Mgr. and was told the money would be sent back for the prorated portion. As of Nov. 2nd no money was ever returned. They just tell you stories - this is not a company to trust.

I bought a used car on a Friday. The car broke down on a Saturday. They would not work with us or help at all. They were very rude. DON'T buy from there if you want a car that runs.

I financed a basic trim 2023 k5 with ************** in Oct. 2022. I had just turned 21 and my credit score was 806 and I completely got taken advantage of. I asked for a small black reliable compact car that is good on gas because I travel often. Well I ended up with a white basic trim k5 which is fine I compromised. What is not fine is the car is worth $30-32,000 and I tried trading my car in a couple months ago (my family was hit with a tragedy and need to trade both our cars in for 1) only to find out a whole bunch of stuff was added and now Im stuck with a $****** car thats only worth $28,000-$30,000. I got the car with 25miles.. brand new and this was not a trade in so it wasnt upside down to begin with this is wrong! I called to see what could be done and they told me basically nothing except cancel some warranties to get the price knocked down and trade the car in with them and they add the remaining balance to the new car Im stuck! Completely stuck so I canceled a few warranties maybe totaling $1,500 (Canceled May 24th and still waiting on the cancellation refund!) 8week **** is next week but that doesnt help!!! Im over 10K upside down! And stuck with a basic trim car owing ****** I wish these people were sincere and honest like they made themselves out to beI dont understand how people can take advantage of others. I dont know what else can be done Ive been told Im just stuck

Took our Sequoia here to get transmission issue diagnosed. Mechanic improperly diagnosed issue as engine wiring harness and ECU, quoted **** + to fix it. In the process of doing this they broke 5 bolts and charged me 800 to fix them. During the time my vehicle was there, the technician assistant would not answer my phone calls or call me back. When I finally got a hold of them the tech assistant was dishonest and unapologetic as to why my vehicle was in there two weeks and no progress had been made. At this point I have paid **** dollars for an incorrect diagnosis and for them to fix the parts they broke. Now in a time crunch, I bring the vehicle home and started diagnosing the problem myself. I simply read the service manual, tested the sensor that the error code said was bad with a multi meter and within 20 minutes I found that the sensor the mechanic had tested and found to be good was clearly bad. I ordered the 100 dollar part and put it on in 10 minutes myself and problem was solved. Had I followed their advice I would have spent **** plus dollars fixing a non-existent issue and the issue would not have been fixed. I contacted the manager to get a refund and he agreed to partially refund me. Now 6 months later and countless calls, voicemails and a personal visit to service department I still have yet to receive the promised refund. Unbelievably poor quality of work and customer service. After talking to coworkers and friends I found that this is the common theme of *** Rohrman service customers. I would never bring a vehicle here again for any reason whatsoever. Save yourself the time, money and frustration and go elsewhere.

Bad experience! Found a vehicle that we wanted to purchase, agreed on numbers and told them we would be financing externally. We offered a security deposit multiple times, they wouldnt allow us to put one to secure the vehicle. Our credit union has our application in process and check was to be ready on Monday. Told them we were good to go and would be picking up the check. They wouldnt give me a purchase order because we wouldnt have the check until Monday but said if we would let them submit our credit app, that would secure the vehicle. Refused because I dont want my credit blasted out impacting my score. They told me, If someone wanted to buy it before Monday, Im out of luck even though financing was in process. Guess what, they sold it. This vehicle had just been brought in, wasnt listed online Thursday when we told them we wanted it and was told they would not put it through safety inspection until Saturday to help make sure it wasnt *************** it was listed online for $2,500 more than we were told and Saturday sold. Will never shop here again.

Worked with *******************. Husband was sold a car with a bad transmission and broken back seat. Mind you, before purchasing he asked for an ODB scanner to check the car. The dealership said they do not have one and he couldnt hook the car up to check for problems. He was unable to purchase his own for a while as shipping was delayed and the car was needed immediately. There is a garage where people are working on cars on site, how would you not have this? No joke, check engine light came on the *** HE PURCHASED IT on his way home. Red flag!! The dealership supposedly fixed the transmission which took 2 or 3 weeks (I have my doubts on if this was truly fixed) , said they would fix back seat. When husband picked up car, back seat was still broken and we were told by ****** in a rude tone that the salesman said he would no longer cover it after saying that he would. We attempted to call NUMEROUS times and they wont return our calls because they know did wrong. They are liars with terrible customer service & lack of ethic. Also wont provide paper work to cancel extended warranty. Company thats provides extended warranty said that the dealership needs to provide paperwork. They refuse saying they dont do that, which I assume is another lie. Why would the extended warranty company ask for it if it isnt normal procedure? I am sure they work with other dealerships as well so this is normal procedure!! Anyway terrible place, dishonest people. Do not come here. Con men. This is not how you treat people especially, first responders. Go to the ***** dealership instead. If this dealership would like to make this right, you know our number. You can fix our broken back seat & provide appropriate documentation to cancel extended warranty. But I doubt this dealership cares about their reputation. Based off of other reviews, they have no interest in providing customer service.
