Mrs. ******* did purchase this vehicle AS-IS from Headers for $2900 she put down $2175 and agreed to pay the remainder within 30 days. We have, in a written statement From Mrs. ******* that she informed her salesman that the vehicle needed both front hub assemblies and that the vehicle had a slight valve cover leak. This was factored into the negotiations of the purchase and Mrs. ******* agreed to the purchase price for the vehicle AS-IS. She did call 10 days after the purchase stating that the vehicle would not start, however, she called 10 minuets before close therefore there was nothing we could do to help her as our mechanic was gone for the weekend. We would have been happy to look at the vehicle however we couldn't until Monday and she was in a hurry to get the vehicle fixed which is understandable. She later stated that the vehicle would not start on her again. We did look at the vehicle after this second issue, whether she had work done to it or not we can not say, however we could not get the vehicle to duplicate the issue. We did remind Mrs. ******* that this vehicle was purchased AS-IS but allowed her extra time to pay the remaining balance due to the repairs she has incurred. The date that this complaint was filed Mrs. ******* also came into our office, having already filed the compliant earlier in the day. We informed her that she is now 21 days past due on paying the vehicle off and that we are not legally responsible for repairs on an AS-IS purchase, especially when the customer stated known problems with the vehicle before the purchase yet still went through with the transaction. Mrs. ******* continued to argue that she had to pay a total of $275 in repairs and tows for the vehicle to be fixed. Also that she had lost wages while waiting for repairs and that she had to pay $160 for a key she lost. She wanted us to write off her remaining balance of $628 for this. We informed her again that the vehicle was purchased AS-IS so we are not obligated at all to reimburse her or write off any balance. However she on the other hand is still obligated to pay the vehicle off, which we have already given her a considerable amount of extra time to pay (21 extra days at this point). That being said we did tell her that we don't mind helping customers in certain circumstances. Had we been able to get the vehicle to our shop, or duplicate the problem at a later date we would have worked with her at that time and helped her then. We informed Mrs. ******* that we are certainly not responsible for her losing her key, nor are we for her lost wages. However we did agree to make a special concession for her on the repair totals. We agreed to write off the $275 that she had to pay in tows and repairs from her current balance. She was happy with this, and she states that she will pay off her remaining balance soon.

My issue with this is the car stop when the car stopped I had no control over that it has a faulty fuel pump number to I did not go into the office rudely the reception is jump in the conversation that I was having with another salesperson number three I just completed brakes all the way around on this vehicle and this vehicle still currently needs wheel hub assembly and now two outer tire rods this car was no good and they knew that babe the second time when John drove the car he said that it was hub assemblies we knew that this car only gets 12 miles to the gallon only thing I wanted was them to honor my lost wages because that's my box car I wanted them to honor the service and the towing and even if they didn't have another key I could have written that off myself all I want them to do is be fair and they're not being fair they were mad because I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and the attorney general and I told them I will pay the remaining balance because I heard from the Better Business Bureau
