    In 2008 I got a $5,000 lifetime warranty for my jeep grand cherokee and chrysler together with the dealership sold it as a great thing to have so I can get a new motor or transmission when the car gets older. What they didn't tell me and continued hiding from me every time I went to dealership and never got an email or call from chryslet about a mandatory 5 year inspection that would void my lifetime warranty all together. Now I cannot service my vehicle and will be forced to by a new vehicle. Chrysler did not honor the warranty and working together with dealerships actively try to make it difficult for the customer to know these keypoints to keep the warranty active. These horrible business practices have got to stop. The customer must be easily informed of what can and will void your contract in very simple terms. The customer should be updated on these events through emails/texts/voicemails.
