His price for mounting an antenna and running a coax cable is fair and competitive at $225.After getting a quote I wanted to try a temporary mounting solution with a 2x4 before paying to have it done professionally.Called this guy back and let him know things arent going to work and wanted to see about getting a tower or some kind of pole. He said he had a used 30 antenna tower. Quoted me a fair price for that too at $1,800 with installation. After asking for either a description or photos so I could do research and make sure the area I live in would allow it, his attitude on the phone immediately flipped. I believe his words were You know? You already hurt me. No. Im not going to do that. Because then youre just going to go have your friend do it to save money.I laughed it off and told him that my friend is certainly not qualified for all that, I just paid him $50 to run a coax line and install a 2x4 because I had never done it before. He replied with You know? I think Im just about done with you.I laughed again and hung up because Im not sure what else youre supposed to do in that situation. For the record, I was quoted $195 through a large corporation for the same thing he was charging $225 for. As a small business owner myself, I figured I would make my first call back to this small business. Obviously that was a mistake.Hey, maybe business is slowing down now and he really needs a sale to stay afloat. I get it, time are tough, but this is unacceptable and unprofessional.45 reviews on this account and Ive never given a one-star review, but this one is deserving of it. The owner should be ashamed of the way he conducted himself.Go to the website air tv DOT net. Call the number there and have them handle whatever you need. Cheaper and faster. They partner with Dish.
