Monday 8/26 I test drove a 2023 4Runner TRD Sport. I liked the car. Website said no accidents, I asked to see carfax and the salesman, *****, told me he had "issues" trying to print it, so he would just show it to me on his computer. What he showed me on his computer said single owner, no accidents. I asked him to email me the ***ort, he said he would. I then saw the price of the car and it was 1000 more than what I had seen online, but went home first to check. I see the **** says a lower price than what he told me at dealership. He agrees, and I say again. Send me ***ort. He says he will. I go in Tuesday 8/27 I bought a 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport for $43,923.46. Drive home and it is unsafe to drive on freeway and there are small divots in windshield (very small but deep, one of which is spidering). I reach out following day. They say bring in the car next week. Everything good, but 4 wheels unbalanced, refuse to acknowledge issues with windshield. I drive home, car still unsafe to drive. I buy car fax and find that car has been in accident, that they ***eatedly showed me auto check (not Toyota endorsed) which does not show accident. I drop off car 2 more times, they refused to find anything wrong. I show them videos of sound from transfer case, other issues. Mechanic and Service *** both acknowledge issues. Keep car 2 more days and say nothing is wrong. I go to pick up car and discover they have now scraped the bumper and damaged the hood. I try calling Toyota corporate to file complaint/request refund, but they refer me back to dealership. Seems like there is no recourse here. I do not trust these people, I do not want to deal with these people, and I do not want this car, nor any car these people have touched.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2024 Toyota **************** October 24th, 2023. ************************* (who sold us the car) from Team Toyota informed us after the sale of the car as we were about to leave that Toyota owed us a 2nd key and we would receive it in the next couple of months as there was a shortage. I received a conformation email from **** November 1st stating Toyota owes me a 2nd fob key and it will be sent to the dealership and they will call us. Jan 15th - **** responds to my follow up email that I will receive a letter to have a key made. It is a recall issue and I should receive something soon. March 13th - **** responds he hasn't heard anything. Late April - I talk to **** and am advised to call Toyota customer service to complain to receive a key. I call and talk to ****** - says I am in phase 6 for getting my key and will be contacted by May 24th. May 28th - Call customer service. Talk to Mar - States I am in phase 8 and I will be lucky if I hear anything by August or even a year. May 24th - Talk to ****. He sends me to manager (*****). ***** takes my number and says ****** is in charge. They never contacted again. Toyota claims there is a chip shortage. They are giving us the run-around. I paid over ****** for this car and am due my 2nd fob key. I have been sharing one key with my husband and am concerned if it gets lost or damaged. We are going on a road trip next month and would like to have peace of mind. I have been mislead by Team Toyota about the 2nd key. I have been patient as it is now June 2nd and I am being told that I will be lucky if I receive a key within a year. I feel that Team Toyota has mislead their customers and should provide the 2nd Fob key that I have been waiting form.Customer Answer

On Tuesday, December 19, **** I went to this business to purchase a Toyota Camry. My sales person (***********************) and I agreed upon the price of the vehicle but originally did not like the original interest rate given at ****%, financed with Toyota. With a credit score of over 800, I felt that I deserved better. **************** went to speak with the Business Manager, ********************* who related that he found a rate of ****% with **** of America. We agreed and made the deal. I made sure that this included the $1000 NATIONAL BUYER INCENTIVE to which the team stated would be there. Since everything is on iPads, you dont get the actual paperwork until after the purchase is complete. Once I got home, I realized that the $1000 incentive was not included. On the next day, I called ****************** and he stated that I didnt qualify for this incentive since I got such a great deal. I asked to speak to the General Manager to which he related that he was unavailable. I tried sending an email but the tab is not functioning on their website. I left a message to which no one has to respond, as of yet. I believe that Team Toyota is trying to take advantage of me due to me being 85 years young. I am writing because I would like this issue to be resolved by me receiving the $1000 incentive due to me and an apology. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated.Customer Answer

Mr, ***** agreed to reimburse me and has failed to do so!

Back in late July or early august I went to team Toyota about a 2012 ***** traverse I had seen on ********..we settled on a price of $7700 cash for the truck. Less than two months after the transaction the truck goes down with a timing system issue..i took it back they said it would be around $5000-7000 to fix out of pocket to me stating I bought it as isRather than fix they decided to go out of their way to make it right. Their way of doing that was to take it back on a trade which they valued at $2000. And put me in a 2014 Malibu at around $12000 financed along with a 2year/24000 mile warranty. Now the Malibu is showing a check engine light with solenoid codes. Which would be covered under the warranty. The problem is now They refuse to make a warranty claim stating that all of this Maintenace needs to be done beforehand. $1800 worth of Maintenace. It feels as if they are wanting to get the repair paid for in the maintenance they are requiring before the actual fix of the engine. Ive already paid them nearly $20000 in the past 4-6 months and Ive gotten two lemons out of it. The second of which they are giving me the run around in using the warranty that covers it. And are wanting me to pay them more money for maintenance that the second vehicle already needed when I bought the car from them. I would like all of my money back for both of the vehicles and I will take it else where to a business that sells more quality vehicles.Initial Complaint

End of July 2023 I purchased a used **** ***** Civic from Team Toyota in ****************. I know nothing about cars. I am a single mom. I have been housing a single mom from ******* who fled the war. I have been helping her get situated and take steps to independence. One of those steps is a license and a car. She has been working full time since December and in July we went to look at a car at Team Toyota.I asked the sales person, ***********************, if the car was a good car, good engine, any problems, any lights on, and his response was It is a really good car. We took it for a test drive. It seemed ok. We purchased the car. $5,000 cash. We have had it one month and in one month, we have replaced the radiator, radiator cap, filled the coolant multiple times, changed the temperature gauge, and now my local mechanics are saying that it could be a combustion side leak and head gasket issue. I have tried to call the dealership multiple times to give them the opportunity to fix this and they just keep sending me to voicemail. I need help.Initial Complaint

Team Toyota users fraudulent tactics in their service bay to defraud customers. They used a used tire to con me into getting an alignment service on a vehicle I purchased from them.
