    I bought a 2021 Kia Sportage from the used Kia Dealership on Shawnee Mission Prky. I had problem after problem with them from day one. First, the salesman forgot to give me all my paperwork from the day of sale. I had to wait 3 days before they could print it out once it was scanned into the system. After 3 days I had to make a second trip to the dealership to pick up the paperwork only for them not to give me the complete packet. The guy argued me down saying that was everything. Lies! Then once the title came back I drove back out there to get my title realizing that the original salesman didn't sign the title and licensing form so I had to have another salesman sign it. On the day of going to the DMV, I get turned away (after being there for an hour and a half) because it turns out Shawnee Mission sold me a vehicle that had a lien on the title. Now, I make a third trip back to the dealership, ask to speak with a manager telling them the issues I've had since day one with this company. I asked if I could trade my vehicle in for another one that I would actually be able to register and was told no and that basically I just have to wait for them to get the lien situation taken care of. He apologized and said they will pay the late fees for registering my vehicle once the lien is removed from the title. He didn't offer any services like a free oil change, free car wash or anything for my inconveniences of the wasted trips to the dealership , paperwork not being properly signed and given to me nor for me having to take off work an additional time and going back to the dmv. He just apologized and said they will pay the $25 late fees. Nothing about compensating my wasted gas going back and forth, nor about lost wages from taking off work an additional time due to their errors. I work at a hospital and it is extremely hard to take off once assigned shifts. I am so disappointed and deeply regret ever going to this dealership. Worst experience I've ever had.

    I sept a full day (6 hours) to purchase a vehicle for my daughter. I was told many lies. We finally got the car and found more problems than told. Now they refuse to fix it unless I use my warranty and pay the deductible. They refused to give us a loaner car during the week that have had the car. They lost the title and had to remail it. Now my statement go to my employer. What a mess !!!

    This dealership is very dishonest and shady. I just purchased a 2024 Kia Sorento. I had seen the car online and went in and test drove the vehicle. I was assured that I would get the price listed on the internet, this was not true. They added on $6000 worth of warranties. I kept questioning what these other charges were but was just brushed off. As I was waiting for them to run my credit the finance manager came and asked me if I was going to pay the sales tax then or have it rolled the payment, He tells me he will come back and give me the numbers. The sales person was having me sign papers but I was never given a form showing the total amount of the car, my interest rate, number of payments, when my first payment was due, my payment amount. I was expecting to go in and talk to the finance person to do this as this is what I have done every single time I have purchased a car before. The salesman then hands me an iPad and said he needed me to sign it. It was blank and I asked what I was signing and I was told it was just all the paperwork that I had already signed. I am still waiting for the finance person to come tell me what my interest rate and payment will be.My salesman then grabs a drill and says let’s go and I am taken out to my new vehicle. As we are walking out one door the finance guy is walking out the other door and leaving. I am not given any paperwork whatsoever. Once I get home I see that there is hail damage on the car that we could not see before because the car was filthy. I have taken it back and am being told that the hail damage is so light that it will just pop out and that I am lucky that it is not as bad as it could of been. It has not rained one drop since I have purchased the vehicle so it was there when purchased but they are obviously not going to do anything about it. My salesman also completed my survey from Kia instead of letting me fill it out when he was helping me set up the app on my phone. Very shady

    This place needs a negative review. By far the worst place I’ve ever dealt with. Lies, nothing but lies. Warranty lies, up to the year of the car. All the paperwork says 2024, go to register it, it’s a 2023. They say look at the sicker inside the door. So? Who’s wrong? DMV? Whoever inputs the information for the VIN? on the registration it clear says 2023. Will file any and all complaints. Will take this to the AG if necessary.

    I am sorry to hear about your concerns with Shawnee Mission Kia. I have reviewed your documents and the vehicle purchased was a 2024 Kia Forte. All the paperwork you have and the MSO that was mailed to you for the vehicle was for the same vehicle and also appears that the registration on the vehicle with the state also shows a 2024 model year. I would love to help answer and resolve any questions or issues you are having with registering the vehicle and any questions as far as warranty goes.

    I was pre-approved for a car, then when I get there I was told what car I SHOULD get and the salesperson made me test drive a Van which I explained to him that I did not want a Van. I was told to wait around spent 3 hours there just to get told that my current vehicle was not worth trade in value. I was told someone was going to follow up with me on Monday which it was a holiday at that. I waited and just be getting around. Do not buy a car from them it is just a hassle.

    Service is absolutely terrible. Two hours is now currently exceeding four hours. They refuse to offer any transportation service - there is a budget rental right down the street with plenty of vehicles and they have plenty of vehicles on the Kia *** too. Ive seen them try to up sell every poor soul stuck in this poorly air conditioned waiting room, including myself. I am here for recalls. I was supposed to be out of here by 12:30, we are now at 2:30pm and I have to continue to keep going back to ask for an update. My entire vacation day has been ruined. Offer SOME form of transportation if you are unable to meet the time frames your service team provides.
