I bought a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic on February 13th. When I bought the truck, I took it for a test drive and ended up purchasing as soon as we got back in the building. I could not pick it up that day so came back later for it. The truck had a clean Carfax and even mention of inspection and oil change at Olathe Dodge. I waived the extended warranty and took the dealer warranty which was for 30days/1000k miles (whichever came first). When I came to pick up the truck, it only had one set of keys and they referred me to someone to pay out of pocket for the keys (which I did for $290). After I took the truck home, we noticed some spotting on the driveway/snow. I originally thought it was my daughter's car, and tried to move cars around to see where it was coming from. I swore my truck wasn't leaking and why should I since it was a '19 from the dealer. Move forward a month later, I still have no title, and my check engine light comes on taking my son to extracurricular activities. I drive him and test the code for the check engine and its p06dd which is oil pressure sensor. Worried, I take it to the closest repair shop at Big O tires (which by the way, they were GREAT). The truck had no oil and they found a big crack in the oil pan. I have pictures where the mechanic shows 3.5qt of oil next to intake ports. They even claim it has to have been there for awhile. I call Olathe Dodge and talk to Madison Hansford who sold it to me, and then get called by Connor Lawyer in finance. He tells me they can't do anything because it falls outside the 30 day window by 2 days and its over 1k by 64 miles. I am sorry, but this is not ethical treatment of customers when I had to pay $1200 for repairs and $290 on a second set of keys and I don't even have a title yet which is now past due in Missouri! I also called to set-up repair with them today, and earliest they could see me was next Tuesday. I hope no one has to ever experience what I experienced today!

The perfect epitome of a "stealership". I brought my car in for an oil change today, I arrived and spoke with Kendrick who quoted me $99 for the service, I asked about a coupon (Mopar usually has them online) and he said they had a 10% off he could give me. So the cost would be $89 plus tax ($99.92). I signed the tablet showing that amount. Once my car was done Kendrick came and took me to the cashier, he handed me a bill for $117.98. I asked him why it was more than what I was quoted and why they had added an additional "shop supplies" fee. He said that was "for disposal of the oil and tools and stuff". I pointed out that was NOT what I had agreed to pay and he realized that he hadn't put the coupon on there. He then returned with an invoice for $106.68, still w the "shop fees". I told him that I wasn't going to pay more than I agreed to in the beginning and asked for a manager. Enter Lucas. When he comes in he immediately tries to tell me I "wasn't paying for the shop fee's because I was given a $10 coupon. I told him what I was quoted for the service and the price I had agreed to. He then changed his story to "every dealership in the country charges that, there's no one who doesn't and its a valid charge". I said that it then needed to be expressed upfront, not added on to the back of an invoice after the service was performed. I then returned to the invoice, Lucas again tried to convince me that I "had gotten a good deal" because of the coupon and even though it was more than I had been quoted for the work, "that's what the price was going to be and there's nothing I could do about it". Well Lucas, that's where you are wrong. I payed the added on fee's to get my car back, so I guess you win there. But now hopefully other people who might consider coming to your dealership know the scams you are trying to pull and will take their business elsewhere. The world is WAY to connected for dishonest businesses to thrive. I wouldn't recommend anyone do business there.

We do apologize for the misunderstanding on your visit. While it is standard for shop supplies to be added to our repair invoices, we understand that may not have been clear upfront. We will refund the shop supplies back to the method of payment on file.

My wife took our 2021 Chrysler Pacifica to the Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM service center due to the Uconnect Theater and back seat displays not working and the head rest of one of the Stow N Go seats not folding. We purchased the Pacifica from another dealer as used. She was told that the Pacifica was no longer covered by the 3 year/36,000 basic limited warranty. The original purchase date of the Pacifica was 2/5/2022 and it currently has approximately 33,400 miles on it so the basic limited warranty is still active. Our experience with service on other vehicles at the Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM service center has always been average at best. Denying an active warranty service claim is unacceptable. We will never use the Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM service center again.

I brought my 2018 Ram 2500 in to them over 6 months ago to fix a faulty abs system. It took multiple calls and texts from me as the three service advisors I worked with weren’t very responsive… The first service tech (Clay) said he spoke to the regional Ram folks and they’d not charge for the original repair but after he left, it seems they somehow forgot that. Good thing I kept the text from him to show them and they still didn’t honor what my first service tech committed to. Well six months later, the repair is finally done but when I brought my truck in, I also asked them to fix a failing sending unit in my gas tank and to recalibrate my Speedo. I was told the Speedo could not be recalibrated which is 100% false. There’s actually a dealer service bulletin 2019-028 which describes exactly how to do what I requested. Still with me as this gets better.. After service having my truck for a week, hadn’t received any response from my texts so I called the service department and was told they hadn’t started to look at my truck yet. What? I made the appointment weeks in advance and the woman I spoke with told me all an appointment does is get you in line and they work your repairs in as they can get to it. Wow… Well, I was charged $900 for them to “diagnose” my fuel sending unit problem and when I picked up my truck 15 days after dropping it off, of course the repair was not done as I was told the part was on back order… I protested having to pay for the “diagnosis” but of course that fell on deaf ears. I ended up taking my truck to an independent repair shop (Whites Automotive in Louisburg KS) and they had my truck for one day and completed the repair for less than what Olathe Dodge This dealership is unethical and I'll never do business with them again.
