I just received a bill for $995 and when I called them, they stated they had not even seen her yet.… She also had this company for two years in her previous nursing home and they never gave her a single cleaning but yet charged $159 per month… I don’t understand how they stay in business, but I can tell you if they’re making this per patient, it is so wrong…

Thank you for your feedback. We strive to provide excellent patient care and ensure our patients, homes, and family members are satisfied with our services. I have had a chance to review this account and would like to offer some clarifications. The patient first purchased our policy in September 2023, and it was effective for approximately one year (August 2024, when the patient was discharged from the facility). The patient received two exams by our dentist during that year and two cleanings. We attempted a third cleaning but the patient refused. In December 2024, Ms. Kidder purchased a policy again, presumably when the patient moved back into a facility. We planned to see the patient in March for her first exam but the patient was out for the day and unavailable. Our policy was approved by the state Medicaid office in March as well, and we began to solicit payment. Ms. Kidder refused to make payment so we cancelled the policy. No further collection efforts would be made. Again, we are sorry Ms. Kidder was unhappy with our service.

My mom is in a Nursing Home and I received a call from Aria stating that they are authorized by the Nursing Home and can supply dental care at no cost to my mom. Started receiving bills from Aria for $120 per month for 3 months totaling $360. Called to determine why my mom was receiving a bill and it was explained that Medicare had not yet approved this service and my mom would not have to pay anything. I asked what care my mom had received thus far knowing the answer was none. I canceled as I believed $120 a month was excessive even if it was not coming out of my or my mother's assets. In my opinion Aria is a medicare scam.

I’m sorry that you weren’t satisfied with the insurance policy you purchased on behalf of your mom. Our records show that this policy was active for just over a month before you called to cancel it. Please note that this is a comprehensive policy that covers preventative and non-preventive dental services, such as extractions and dentures on-site at a nursing home. Like all insurance policies, there isn’t an expectation that covered services are provided immediately or every month. If there is anything else we can do to help provide dental care for your mom, please let us know.

My father had Aria Care insurance when he was in the nursing home. He paid the premium promptly and was paid ahead at the time of his death. Aria Care was notified of his passing and issued a refund check 5 weeks later. Within 3 days the refund check bounced. They were notified and promised that a good check would be sent out 3 weeks later. It is now 7 weeks later and still no refund check and I can't get an answer as to what the problem is or when a good check will be sent. I don't understand how an insurance company working with Medicaid can get away with bouncing refund checks that are owed to their client's estate.

This was resolved today to the individual's satisfaction. There was an anti-fraud protocol causing and issue.

They are the worst possible choice for your elderly parent needing dental services in a nursing facility. They do not care & have a canned response for any concern. My mom has been repetitively been given the same response for their delay in providing her with dentures that they have been paid for several months (aprx 6) She is still without. Jessica G**** & “Dr” S****** hv been contacted several times concerning this matter & remain without empathy or show of concern. A terrible company just out for the premium in my opinion.

We are sorry that Mrs M****** feels like she had a bad experience with our company. Our staff, including Ms. Gaant and Dr. S******, take enormous pride in diligently and thoughtfully taking care of all of our senior patients. Having reviewed the clinical notes carefully, we have made multiple attempts to provide care and updates and are sorry these have not satisfied Mrs. M******.

This is a terrible company! One of my clients was signed up for this service without my knowledge. 8 months later, I receive a bill for 8 months of service and they had never once visited my client. Their response was that they are "insurance only" and have no control over when a patient is visited. The facility then reported that the dentist did not visit anyone in the past 8 months, during the height of covid, because he wasn't vaccinated. I recently had a client pass on the 8th of the month and they still want to collect a premium! Their "cut off" is 5 days. If you pass in the first 5 days of the month, they won't collect a premium; otherwise it is due and payable. I believe this is referred to as an unearned premium and is illegal. I then received an email that they were billing my credit card. Right client but not my credit card. I brought this to their attention and they didn't seem to want to research whose card they were charging! I assured them I didn't have a credit card ending in those 4 digits and I pay by check so there is a paper trail. Their response is that they had only charged this credit card one other time so some poor guy named Oscar has been billed twice for my client AND I had been paying the premiums! So I guess they collected premiums twice. Another was approved for dentures but then we moved him to a new facility. They refused to deliver the dentures until I had signed up for a new policy at the new facility. By this time, the monthly plan was $199 instead of $159. For $2400/year, you might as well get your dentures somewhere else! I even had one rep tell me that unless you were needed dentures, the plan didn't provide any services over and above medicare/medicaid. They are just milking the federal and state governments for medical care that is not being provided.

We are familiar with Ms L*****. She acts as conservator for several of our patients. We are happy to review and redress any of Ms. L*****'s complaints above, but we need more specifics regarding which patients. If Ms L***** can reach out directly to me, I can guide her to the appropriate person internally that can assist. We are committed to providing quality service and pride ourselves in our ethics and integrity. We look forward to learning more about each situation above and reaching resolution.

We apologize deeply for any inconvenience experienced by Mr. Havemann. Our office was mostly closed last week, but our phone system routing was not correctly programmed during the holiday week. This left customers like Mr. Havemann on hold with no message, option for voicemail, or live operator. We discovered the problem today and are working to address it. Mr. Havemann should receive a return call today or tomorrow.

My brother was in a care facility until his death on May 22nd of this year. He was a ******** recipient and needed inexpensive dental coverage so his facility put him touch with ********* Providers. Upon his death, the facility duly notified the company of his passing, but in spite of that, they deducted a June premium from his bank account. I can't begin to tell you how many hours I have spent on the phone with one of their account managers trying to rectify this situation. In about 4.5 months, she has assured me 3 times that there was a "check in the mail" to refund the premium. But I still have received nothing. I am dismayed and angry at the treatment I have received and their complete lack of honestly. I am required by law to turn over my brother's remaining assets to ******** so I will be informing them as to the reason for the delay and where they can find the remaining sum. I also intend to pursue a ******** Fraud complaint with the ************************** I would encourage others in the market for inexpensive insurance to look elsewhere.

We are very sorry for ********************** loss, and with her frustration getting this matter resolved.  We were notified by the facility of the patient's passing on June 15th, despite his death on May 22nd.  As our standard protocol, we processed the policy cancellation that very same day.  Unfortunately, auto drafts begin pulling on the 15th of each month and we had no way to prevent this.  We began working on the refund and were regularly communicating with *******************  We placed the refund on a 14 day hold in case the bank reversed the charge.  By mid-July we processed the refund for signature.  For some reason, we did not mail the check until mid-August, which is obviously an internal issue, but on August 14th when the check did go out, our staff left a voicemail for ****************** alerting her to the mailed refund check.  We have not heard directly from her since that voicemail.  We continue to attempt communication with ****************** to ensure she has received the check we mailed last month and pride ourselves on paying all clients money due in a timely fashion.

As a clarification to the response above, we actually mailed the check on July 7th. Between July 11th and August 14th, we made several unanswered/unreturned calls to ****************** confirming receipt of check and correct address. On September 19th, ****************** confirmed she had not received the check so we issued a stop payment and sent a new check by ******

I was persuaded to take out the remote ********************** insurance by my mothers nursing home as they were switching service providers. I did so eagerly due to my mothers need for dentures, the **** representative assured me a dentist would come out on the next facility schedule and examine my mother and proceed with the process of making her a set of dentures. One month of one excuse after another turned into six months of waiting for the dentist visit. In the mean while I learned they had made trips to the home only providing cleaning, so they were charging monthly more than the premiums of her ******** advantage plan charges to come out and clean five teeth and had the audacity to try and convince me of its importance. Finally I called and demanded the dentist visit to prepare my mothers dentures take place on the very next visit. I was told then the dentist had examined my mother and deemed her as not a suitable candidate for dentures, no reason given for this determination. I promptly cancelled the plan and found an outside dentist that would see my mother even though she would have to be treated in a wheel chair. My mother now has full dentures top and bottom one month after termination of the **** ********************** plan. You can see by their one star rating and many other bad reviews this is not a company you want to assist in a loved ones ********************** care. Wish I could choose less than one star.

We are sorry for the negative experience Ms. Gibson had with Aria.  Here are Aria, we pride ourselves on being transparent with our customers and focusing on delivering high quality care.  Ms. Gibson enrolled her mother in our program in September of 2022 and our dentist performed an exam on September.  During that visit, our dentist adjusted the patient's existing dentures.  The patient did express interest in a new pair of dentures, so she was put on the dentist schedule in November.  Unfortunately, during that visit, our dentist determined the patient was not a candidate for new dentures based on patient confusion.  This may have just been how things went on that particular day, but our dentists always make sure to consider treatment planning in the context of patient safety and need.  We cancelled the policy in December at Ms. Gibson's request and are glad to hear her mother was able to receive a new denture from a different provider.

**** was deceptive when they texted me to accept dental insurance for my husband in a nursing facility and said that this was suggested by a worker at the facility.I paid the amount only to find out later that they never use any new insurance for this without personally contacting me!My husband has his own dentist and is covered by ********* They are insist that I owe money for something we do not need. I admit that I am new at this but the center does not suggest any insurance for ******** residents.

Premiums paid but no evidence of any teeth cleaning ever evident. Even the tooth brush looked unused. I cancelled the service but kept getting bills even after my mom had passed away. Shameful to fleece the elderly.
