They've been calling me literally 20 times a day I've asked him to take me off the list they won't! Finally today I called population health which is there customer service hotline she said she'd take care of it but I'm still getting calls. For the past 30 days I have been receiving telemarketer calls up to 8 times a day. I have tried to ask them to take me off their call list, which they agreed to do but I’m still getting bombarded by calls daily. I’m pursuing a class action suit to get them to stop.Business response

On 9/17/24 I contacted ******** ******* **** *** **** insurance to inform them I was canceling my home and auto policy with them effective 10/1/24. ******** ******* transferred me to a Select Quote agent who processed my cancelation request. My policy was paid up already through 9/30/24. I Docusigned cancelation letter on 9/17/24. I was informed automatic withdrawal payment would be cancelled effective 9/17/24. Then my Escrow account with my mortgage sent ******** ******* $1044 for my home insurance policy that I canceled and on 10/1/24 ******** ******* withdrew $172.30 out of my checking account causing me to have a return payment for insufficient funds for my Apprisen program costing me an additional $15 returned fee. I want my $1216.30 plus The $15 fee from Apprisen returned to me by Select Quote/******** *******. On 10/7/24 I spoke to Ary at ******** ******* who states on 9/17/24 the SElect Quote agent did not process my cancelation request properly and ******** ******* was not informed of the cancelation request until 10/1/24. Had my cancelation been properly processed on 9/17/24 ******** ******* would not have withdrew 172.30 out of my account on 10/1/24.Business response

This is my second complaint against Select. We have a leak under the sink the angle valve is stuck. We called Select to get a technician to come out. Same story call and get your own technician we are booked up. We have water leaking now for a week, the person on phone was told we can’t afford to pay out right because we put out of pocket over 700.00 for a new washer. Select said they were sending out check in a day or two. Come to find out the check will take over 30 days. They are sending out 500.00 but we had to pay up over 700.00 now. This is why we paid the money to get the warranty. The person from Select understood our issue so per conversation they put us on top of list. We can’t keep paying up front for repairs after we paid over 2600 for the policy. If we have to pay up front we might as well not have a warranty what’s the difference. We have heard nothing from Select or a technician. We are just getting such a runaround. The past warranty company we had was with the house we purchased. The reason we did not stay with them was because the technician was rude and broke more than he fixed. But at least we got a technician. These people aren’t even trying and they are supposed to be number two on best warranty list. I do not believe they should have this type of rating for what we can see. We have a six year policy, this is how they treat there long term customers how do they treat yearly or monthly customers. I have a second policy for my brothers home as well also a six year policy. Now we are going to be charged for excessive water used due to leak. We have called a plumbing person but have not heard back as of yet.Customer response

Select home warranty told us to find our own plumber. We called one out and had him look at our plumbing problem and give us a quote. We called select for their approval per their instructions and they declined our plumber because they didn’t like how his company billed! Worker was not able to change how the computer printed out or itemized the billing. Said they would have to send us one of their plumbers, which they have not done in over a week! Still have my leak and no idea of when their plumber is coming. I had to pay my plumber for the service call!Business response

This company has been relentlessly spamming my phone for well over a year, often multiple times per day. They appear to be using phone spoofing and offshore call centers. Theyve basically rendered my phone useless without the aid of a paid spam blocking app, and even then sometimes they get through. Its obvious they are doing this to prey upon and scam elderly people, but I am NOT part of that demographic, and no amount of explaining this will get them to stop! I mean really...I understand your business has a vile tactic of preying on the elderly, but spamming me isnt going to get you any money, or make me any more likely to purchase your service, AND it wastes your own money and resources .... so give it a rest already!Business response

SelectQuote called and stated they could get me a better deal regarding my insurance. I told them they could send me information about better insurance but then I received a letter stating I had been signed up for a different insurance. I did not agree to new insurance, only that I would like information. I did not sign any paperwork and gave no approval at all for new insurance.Business response

These **** **** use illegal tactics and offshore call centers from India to fill their sales funnels. Preying on the weakest in society and using three layers of call transfers before putting me thru to some low life with Select Quote. Then their sales person has the audacity to call me back and harass me after I tell him these facts. then the coward hung up[. I'm filing with the FTC, the FCC, and the CFBP and I hope they shut them down.Business response

Does not follow through with quote if you request a 10 year term life insurance quote. They only want to sell you 20 year term life insurance quotes. If you do not choose at least 20 years, then they say things like “why would you do that?” And they hang up on you.Business response

I have been using SelectQuote for over 4 yrs and every year there is an issue with the reps. This year has ultimately been the worse and most frustrating year. It's a 90% chance you will get someone on the phone that does not know what they are doing. This year I called in November and spoke to a rep and they were having problems with there phone system that seems to be a recurring theme. We reviewed all medications and drs at no point was I told that he did not receive the same benefits as the previous year. Come January the plan was completely different than the one he had been on for the last few years. When I called to find out why they supposedly had no record of my call from November when we were on the phone for almost an hr. I reviewed everything with the rep again in January and changed plans at no point did she tell me he was losing a financial benefit and paying more out of pocket. Come February I spoke to another rep and she reviewed the plans and explained why I lost the benefit. So, I made the decision to stay with the current plan and then come March we receive a new card in the mail and were told that the plan we were signed up for no longer existed and was a 2023 plan. They changed the plan without informing us and without our permission. I called today 3/11/24 and again they are having phone issues, this would be the 2nd or 3rd time I have asked to speak to a manager, and I am not put through to one. I asked ***** today why I could not speak with a manager vs her putting me through someone else for the request to speak to a manager and she hung up the phone on me. I was pushed through to the automated survey system that does not work.Business response
