Just to add to a slew of complaints. YRC has had my freight for 3 weeks now. 1 week to get across country which makes sense and now 2 weeks sitting at the local facility, I even called to see if I could pick it up but was told that is not allowed right now. I see their other responses trying to put the blame on outside factors but I work in logistics and my company sends and receives freight daily while sticking to appointment times. Fedex and UPS don't seem to be having these issues either. A day or two is understandable but to just have freight sitting for weeks is not, if you can't deliver you should not be taking peoples money and picking it up. Picking up and holding hostage is fraudulent. There is no excuse other than this is clearly a very poorly run company. P** * ************Customer response

Yes they did finally deliver also with no communication that they would do so but I'm just glad do be done with them. You can close my complaint.

Yrc collected an additional $500 on my shipment because they said it was 500 pounds overweight. They made me pay it to release my goods. The warehouse that received the goods weighed it and received similar weight to the sending party Contacted yrc and they refuse to accept a dispute. Saying they can’t because I can’t tell them the amount of boxes on the skid. Every pallet is paid for and weight is mentioned how can this company be such a blatant rip offInitial Complaint

I was notified by a shipper that a truck was headed my way with my freight as of 7/23/21. Using the freight company's website, I began tracking the shipment. The freight truck failed to show up on the expected date of delivery on 7/29/21. I called the freight company and complained, but was given another expected date of 8/2/21. I was also put on some sort of email notification program that did not work. On 8/2/21, the freight truck failed to show up as expected. I was offered to be put on an email notification program again. This freight company requires you to be onsite for the deliver. They will not unload for you. If you are not there, they will not drop your delivery off. I could care less when they come, but I would like a firm date/time when they want me to stand in the Texas 100 degree heat and wait for them "sometime" on thier expected delivery date. They will not even call me when they are close. If they are going to keep changing dates, at least call and notify.
