I was happy with padron until one month ago. I have used them multiple times for my 2009 Tiguan. When I first bought it, I brought it in for them to change the timing chain, because the year and model indicated it would go out after 100,00 miles. They refused, and told me that it wouldn’t go out. I assumed they knew more about cars than I did, which apparently(unfortunately) wasn’t true. My timing chain went out, and left me stranded, alone, half on the roadway of a two-lane highway in western Kansas- alone and terrified in the dark. I ended up having to replace my entire engine, which has so far taken over 3 weeks to ship, and I have now been without a vehicle for nearly a month. When I asked padron if they would honor the warranty, they denied that they would. After all is said and done, I will be out ~5,000 dollars and ~1.5 months without a car. I had to have it towed roughly 100 miles to Toyota in Garden City, and the I had to pay over $100 to a different shop just to have it looked at because it is a VW. I would think long and hard before trusting their expertise.Review from rory m

Overall their service is good, but the way they conduct business left a bad taste in my mouth. Just be careful when you OK things over the phone because they will do more than asked and change the price after the ok - They gave me a service I didn't OK and I didn't need, it was something required every 60 thousand miles of which they did for me within the last 30k miles so they knew it wasn't necessary and that upped my bill an unneeded 300 dollars. - They asked if I wanted a tune-up, to which I agreed for about 160 dollars, then did the above service and changed my spark plugs for the tune up charging me 317 dollars for that one thing. - Over the phone I was told I had a severe oil leak that would need to be fixed soon, however, when I went in and asked about it was told it was a very minor leak I could simply fill with oil every month or so with no issues. I was given a 150 dollar discount on the total, but considering it should have been 200 dollars total, but I still wound up paying 600 with the discount did not make me happy. I give it a one star because the service and work may be good you never know how much you'll wind up paying.
