      With the changes in the ****** county sanitation contract we have certainly had some kinks to work out. I sincerely apologize that the customer's bulk item was left at the curb. A supervisor will be on site today to get the bulky items. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience with the new service changes.

      I bought a vacation home in April of this year and signed up for trash pick up service with Scott Waste on April 25th with acct # ************* I was charged extra at the time for a new trash can to be delivered at my address. It is now August 29th, four months later and there is no trash can. The previous owners had left behind an old trash can, I used it in the meantime until the bottom fell out at end of June and couldn't use it anymore. Yet i have been charged for trash services I haven't received since July. I have contacted Scott Waste about these issues several times: - July 15th I called Scott Waste customer service, however after a 30 minute wait I left a voice mail requesting a call back. No call back to this day. - Also on July 15th, I emailed Scott Waste customer service inquiring about status of trash can delivery. No reply to this day. - August 23rd around 2:36 pm, I called Scott Waste main office line ~ 2:30 pm and was told I should get my trash can delivered "soon". Lady took my payment over the phone. No trash can yet. Paying for a service I am NOT receiving. -August 29th ~ 1:50 pm, I called Scott Waste to cancel service. Amgent said it shows in their system that my service will be cancelled on September 30th yet she can't provide any kind of written confirmation that my service is scheduled to end on that date. I consider I have been beyond patient and understanding. I have paid in good faith for service through September although i have NO trash can yet, my trash hasn't been picked up since July and i have documentation of my inquiries gone blatantly ignored. My two requests for resolution are the following: 1- Confirmation in writing of cancelation of my account # ************* As of Sept 30th or ASAP. 2- Refund in full for the last payment I made of $41.37 (attached receipt screenshot).       Customer started service 04/25 and stated a cart was on site from previous owner so a cart delivery was not required as the customer had a container. There was not any additional fees charged for a cart delivery at that time either. On 07/18 customer notified us that the cart was now damaged and they needed a new one. We placed an order for cart delivery, at no charge, but we have been waiting on a shipment of carts to deliver. Ms. ****** had the opportunity to sit bags at the curb for service while waiting for the cart to be delivered. However, the account is now closed effective 08/29/22. Ms. ****** called the office on 08/29, spoke with a CSR, the account was closed and a refund of $41.37 was issued back to her credit card. The two request for her resolution were handled while she was on the call with a CSR on Monday.

      We have not had our trash picked up since the end of June. We are trying to get the trash picked up and we are changing companies. However every time we call they say they will get it taken care of and still have not. The trash is over flowing and our farm looks terrible because of it. We want the trash and the trash bin gone because we are chainring companies. They are terrible.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      They came and got the trash, but they left all of the trash on the ground that was there due to the full month of not being picked up.  They said they would send their supervisor out to clean up the area and never did.  We had to because it beside our driveway and looked terrible and embarrassing.  When they got the trash we asked them to pick up the trash bin because we are changing services.  They still have not done that.  We had to move it down the driveway because the new company has already came and dropped off the new bin.  We need their trash bin gone immediately if at all possible.

      We have used Scott Waste for almost a decade with hardly any complaints. Our driver showed up same day and time each week unless it was a holiday. We own a business and need the dumpster emptied weekly which is why we pay Scott Waste. For the last month our trash has only been emptied once. We have called over 5 times, talked to several different people, left messages. They all tell us the same thing “ I will tell my supervisor and get right back with you because this is unacceptable.” Not one single person has actually called us back. We have a trailer full of trash along with trash sitting all over our garage. And to top all this off when all of our problems started they raised our bill $15 a month. I don’t mind paying for a service but I don’t see how this isn’t illegal to charge for services that aren’t being provided.

      I have been waiting over 3 months for a mattress to be picked up from my residence. It has been continually sitting at the end of my driveway. I called the local office at least 5 times to request the pickup after weeks of it sitting their but still no assistance. I called and spoke to the office staff and asked for a supervisor to call me to discuss my complaint. No return call from the supervisor. That was over 4 weeks ago. Now my neighbors have mattresses sitting out as well and theirs have been out there for weeks as well. I feel Scott waste is not servicing our county neighborhoods and is causing left debris to accumulate. I have noticed large items being picked up in the city limits, however. Very Sad! I pay for a service to be provided and I am not getting my service. I have been a loyal customer for over 14 years and have kept up my end of the contract by paying my bills on time. I expect Scott Waste to hold up their end of the contract.

      I purchased a mobile home in ******** ****** on 05/03/2022 Scott waste is the sanitation people that is suppose to bring me a trash can I have called an get the run around I am told it is coming 2 1/2 weeks later still no trash can I have told them maggot where all over the deck only to be lied to again about when the can is coming . I just want them to deliver the trash can!!!

      This company repeatedly does NOT pick up trash weekly as they say they will. This is a major problem for Edmonson co, multiple unhappy costumers. I understand if a major holiday falls on that day or if the roads are dangerously iced over but so so many times; that is simply not the case. They have missed my trash so many times, I call & complain - ask for my bill to be credited. Anything. They refuse to do that, stating they don’t give refunds and to just pile all my trash at the end of my road. Well I have no other can other than what they supply and it’s usually full by a week. I can’t put tied up sacks or neighbor dogs will get into them. So what is the answer?! Many people are forced to either pile trash in their homes or find random public dumpsters to fall back on. This is robbery. Scott waste is Terrible and pathetic. They do not stand by their word & they are still getting paid by so many customers!!!! PLEASE help.

      We will be getting this customers trash cleaned up today. Due to staffing issues and illness within our company we have (unfortunately) had different drivers on this route. When there are different drivers on the route there is a learning curve for the new guys. We strive to collect each customer weekly and we are deeply sorry about the issues with service. We will work with our staff to get this corrected and issue the customer a 2 weeks refund for the inconvenience.
