My husband tanned here twice, gave them our card and banking info. The third time he went, they could not find his current account. An $80+ charge that said SunTanCity came out of our bank, but he has been continued to be denied services because they cannot find his account. Trying to email the company through their website got absolutely nowhere. Writing a review on Google got a response that obviously did not read the review. Something is wrong here! I want my money back because they did not hold up their end of the agreement.Sun Tan City

Good Afternoon! We are pleased to inform you that this situation has been resolved with the client directly. They contacted our Client Services Department on 4/7, and one of our agents was able to provide them their client number for an easy check-in process on their next visit. The client has also decided to tan the remainder of April and their membership has been cancelled so they will not be billed further. I knew better after the 1st mager f@#$ up but after yrs I went back and looks like they are even worse but this time I saw how much they are charging me. I agreed to a 4 time visit a month for 19.99. only to see it on my credit card statement that they are charging me 46.79 one month and another month is 58.49 . This **** is right I'm reporting them on anything and anywhere it that it matters. If I didn't freeze my credit card I don't think I would have noticed it.Sun Tan City

I am extremely unhappy right now. I went to tan today at the Ozark location and they refused to let me tan saying I owed them money. I showed them proof of payments and they still refused to allow me to tan, so I paid them $65 for nothing this month because someone forgot to put it in the system. So I was humiliated in front of other customers as if I didnt pay and sent away. What I want now is my money back at this point. After years of being a loyal customer, this is how I was treated.Sun Tan City

Be careful!! They add so many extra charges and do not communicate it with you as the customer! They add an annual fee regardless of how long you sign up for! They also charge you per month to keep your account frozen without communicating the terms properly.Sun Tan City

Good Morning! This client froze their membership through their online account, but only chose to be frozen for a total of 4 months. Depending on how long the client chooses to freeze, once the chosen months have been fulfilled, the membership will automatically reinstate per the clients choice. We will have a Customer Service Representative contact them directly to discuss their account, and also our accommodation options for the months that they paid from their reinstated membership, but did not tan. Finding out that the manager and assistant were let go was horrible. They made the Suntan City Store in Dickson, PA. Now poor girls who are delightful are left to figure things out. The new General Manager has no idea what he is doing. There are many costumers that have already left and more to cancel their membership. I have tanned there since they opened and very frustrated with the way things are being handled.Sun Tan City

I too have cancelled membership and was charged for extra months. Spoke with Brittany who is the highest person of company to make a decision to send me a refund - requesting a refund does not mean it will go thru per her. I await a refund that I may not get and that will take 7 -10 days - in addition to that you had to provide a link to your card I do not find this secure at all. Brittany was rude - and I love that all the associates end their conversation with "have a good day". I was told my account was closed and this will not happen in the future - it better not !!! I went in and paid for what I thought was one month of tanning. I have been charged for 2 extra months. My location does not answer phone and I havent been able to go into that branch. I call a different branch asking for a number to have my money put back in my account. Never got a call back. At no time when signing up did anyone tell me I was paying monthly and that it would be automatically withdrawn monthly. It is dishonest. I would like a full refund. Please stop these dishonest practices. Give your customers a copy of their contract and tell them at time of signing up.Sun Tan City

I have been a Loyal customer for many years! I have always purchased a yearly membership. I recently bought what I though was a month of tanning. I was charged for an additional month that I was not able to use. Make sure to ask for a copy of anything you sign, as the employees do not do a great job of explaining this. They typically rush you through and say sign here. I didn't think I would be charged $90.00 for three days of tanning. This is theft! I am extremely disappointed this is how I was treated after being with Sun Tan City for over 10 Years. Maybe even 20. I will spend a lot of time making sure everyone knows these poor business tactics of robbing their customers.Sun Tan City

Beware! Had a shared credit card with girlfriend. I tried to stop auto pay they will not stop auto withdrawal even though I've requested. I've even got new card number and they keep charging me.
