Regal Park Apartments is requesting a July rent payment (7/1/22) in the amount of $1015 for the apartment we occupy. However, we have had numerous floods in our apartment, which now smells like mildew and mold. The most recent flood (6/22/22) occurred in the apartment above us, causing our apartment to flood and for the bathroom ceiling to cave in. No one has addressed coming to fix the hole in the ceiling and they also do not have another apartment for us to move into currently. Our living conditions are inhabitable and there's a concern for health issues as well. Regal Park is unable to provide a safe place to live and still insisting on rent for July to be paid in full. Regal Park Maintenance has came to break down walls behinds sinks to fix leaks without repairing them. We are now having a rodent issue with dropping everywhere.

Please see the following response to the BBB complaint for ****** ***** ***:

The drywall work was completed in the home on 07/22/2022. We also had the bathroom cleaned up on 06/24/2022. We are working on the rodent issue with our contractor, and that has been addressed.  I have also let the resident know that he could transfer to a renovated unit (once it was complete). In speaking with him I also gave the resident the option that if he wanted to vacate I would allow him to do so with a 30 day notice. The resident has transferred to a renovated unit.

    Thank you
