      LG&E and KU Energy LLC just informed me that they only have to read our meter ONE TIME A YEAR... really? They are estimating 3 services that I have on my farm. One they ALWAYS overestimate, another they ALWAYS underestimate and the 3rd one they charge a minimum $50 rate whether any power is running or not! They refuse to correct your bill when you call to report their error... this leads to ¹being overcharged ²being undercharged then having to pay an outrageous bill when they do DECIDE to actually read it. Some people can't afford this mess and honestly, what Kentucky Utilities is doing is THEFT!!! They tell you it will work out in the end, but if they are taking money for something you didn't use (THEFT) and invest it then they are investing MY MONEY, not theirs!!! The BBB wants to rate the service but won't let me file a complaint? Maybe the BBB needs to be turned in to a higher authority as well! RIDICULOUS!!!

      KU electric company in Cumberland Kentucky needs to be investigated. They are estimating and they are not reading the meter. The electric bills are way too high.

      Our Home had power Surges which demeaged many surge protector and many applences (TV, garage door openerand many other device.

      Absolutely worst company ever straight garbage. They over charge lie about it even if you have no power they still charge you an outrageous amount more than your house can even handle without burning down. They refuse to do meter checks and cut you off when you pay your bill then charge a reconnect fee on their screw ups and constantly lose power and take their sweet time to fix it might go a couple days in the winter with no heat cause if it and they don't care they are a scam company and know they have a monopoly and don't care about their customers even when you cancel service and move and pay full owed amount 6months later they send you a bill already paid turn you to collections and ruin your credit even though you have proof you paid

      was on hold for FOUR hours total trying to transfer my service. was on hold so long that the call ended itself. have been trying to call for three days now to transfer my service for when i move in now THREE days. i have never been able to reach a single person. service is horrible and price is high; i wish there was an alternative to using KU, cant wait to get away from Lexington next year, never want to deal with them again.

      Turns electricity off due to being late one day. I have paid my bill every month for over 8 years. As soon as I realized I had forgotten to pay the bill I paid it online immediately. Called and had over 1 hr wait times to even talk to a representative. It has been over 8 hours and I still am without power after calling, texting, and begging. Horrible monopoly of a company. If I had another option I would use it.

      This is the worst company ever. Been trying to get service started for 3 weeks now. Never had this service and damn sure wish I didn't have to have it. This company needs to sell and let someone else with respect and leadership run it. Horrible experience

      I moved out of the apartment I was living in and another person moved in..now I have a 21 yes old son with down syndrome and diabetic 1..the other gentleman moved out so I rented it again. They gave me electric in my name the first time which was 2018. I had to send a copy of my new lease which they said had been altered..now their trying to bring a 1200 Bill up from 2012..now we're living in this apartment with no electricity with my son...SHAME ON YOU KJ
