On 2/27/24 at house auto sale I was convinced that the vehicle that I was looking at was in " good mechanical condition " they advised me that nothing was wrong with it and also didn't have stickers on it no price no passed history no nothing the thing wasn't even inspected at the time I paid 3128 down I didn't even make it home and the check engine light came on the lights flickered all of them interior and exterior so I took it to three different mechanics and each one of them told me that the same thing blowed head gasket or a cracked engine not wanting to believe the first mechanic I tried another and again another at house auto sale they did see the engine blowing water out of the reservoir hard enough to spray the whole interior hood and advised me that it was normal after that I put 2 to 4 gallons of coolant in the thing within one day that's when I knew I got robbed at gun point without the gun pretty much we tried calling the people more than 10 times to see what they could do but after i took it back I learned that he was out of state fishing and thats why he didnt get back with us this guy is a sorry excuse of a man that doesn't have a straight bone in his body and even worse sells person to rob someone of that much money then go fishing it looks like if they needed the rest of the five thousand dollars they would have attempted to do something besides not pick calls up by their employees/ wife while he's out of state fishing in a tournament ill never be back at that place again and I'll inform everyone that I know just what kind of criminal these people really are and just maybe save them the trouble of having to lose their hard earned money and time thanks again for robbing me and my family of a good chuck of money and about 36 hours of time wasted running back and forth trying to figuring out what's happening with your junk car that your mechanic lied to me about saying all of them bubble even told me I'd be surprised with the car that you push outBusiness response

On February 26th, 2024 P****** ****** *** came in to purchase a vehicle. He did not find anything on the lot that he liked but saw a vehicle in one of the bays being detailed and asked about it. Upon his inspection and test drive he decided to purchase it with a downpayment of $3,128.70. On February 27th, they brought it back in saying it was running hot, but only when it was sitting idle, not when it was running. When they brought it back our Mechanic detected that the radiator fan was not operating as it should and replaced it at no charge.
They called back on Thursday, and I was not here, but my wife asked them call back on Friday and speak with me. They called Friday, and I attempted to call them back but it would not let me leave a message. Saturday afternoon they brought the vehicle in and ****** came into the office and stated, "He was turning it in, and he didn't trust the mechanics here and that he was sorry he couldn't do business with us and stated we could keep the money." My wife asked them not to do that, and to let us look at it first, but he wouldn't have any of it and said he was turning it in. He understands that all used cars are sold as is, and signed paperwork to that effect.
I had told my wife we weren't going to let them do that and that I would have my mechanics look at it, but on Monday, ******'s girlfriend and her Aunt started slanderous attacks on Facebook against us, and every time someone would go on and comment something positive about my business, they would delete it from the thread. They then started slanderous attacks against my wife and wanted to make it personal. At this point, I am done with them, and will not have anything else to do with them. Remember, we are a Buy Here/Pay Here and don't make profits on a down payment, people have to make their payments in order for us to make a profit. We wanted to keep them in a car, until they started their attacks. I am done with them.

I paid $2600 down on a car at House Auto and the motor locked up on it before I even made it home. I had to have it towed the rest of the way home. They did not fix it or refund any of my money.Initial Complaint

Paid almost 4 thousand dollars down on a vehicle that sticker price said was approximately approximately 7 thousand dollars. Immediately had to spend $500 dollars on front end work and a additional $600 on brakes and other parts to just make it safe. They told me it would be fine and allowed for a partial payment. The next payment made they did not run the payment until a day or more after. We were one month behind and were making a payment on the following Monday but they came and repossessed it on Sunday. Causing damage to the car by dragging it in park. Initially they said bring $800 and get the car (adding in late fees and repossession fees). The following day they were completely opposite of what they had said prior saying it would cost $4,800 if I wanted it and that the reason they changed their mind is because they don’t do business with “People like us”. They left me stranded in a very rural area with my infant daughter and caused my boyfriend his job. They single handily took away our livelihood and I think they should be stopped before they ruin more lives.
