      On 1/13/2024 I filed for a refund advance loan through ******* ****** just like I have for many years before and have been approved but this time I was not approved and was still charged for the refund assist that was not given to me. I am unsure why I was told by ******* ****** that your criteria and nothing in the criteria has change except my credit has improved since last year and I now reside in Texas and my location should have nothing to do with that. I don't owe tax my student loan is not in default I do not owe child support. So it makes no sense to me why i was denied. I also have a claim against ******* ****** for misinforming me that I could get a refund advance after I was denied for a holiday advance. Because in all actuality for some unexplained reason I was denied for the tax season in December that I was going to be denied for unexplained reason in January with my w2s. That should be stated so that people are not conned into paying both you and ******* ****** for these advance that you are not going to give to some for not explained reason after you have done it for several years before. So it was either the amount of my refund which is false advertisement because it is said as long as your refund is over 500 dollars. So I am thoroughly confused I just feel conned by both you and ******* ******.

      On 11/27/2023 my account was debited for #376.90 by Republic Bank & Trust Company via my ****** ***** **** for an ********** *** *****l. But ********** only charged $300 Security Deposit and $27.74 Damage Waiver, because I paid for the rental using ********** Plus Points for a total of $327.74. (I have the ********** Receipt and ****** Screenshots). On 11/29/2023, I filed a fornal Complaint via email against ****** for stealing the $49.14 and they blatantly lied by stating that ********** only released the $300 Security Deposit and basically kept the $49.14 and they suggested I contact ********** and ********** said the ****** was lying and told me to check the Receipt (which I did). Upon reviewing the receipt I saw that I was only charged the $27.74 Damage Waiver and Republic Bank should have released $349.14 instead of $300. I have been renting Cars from ********** every month for at least five years now and each of these months Republic Bank & Trust Company has been stealing the 15% Security Deposit that they add along with **********'s $300 Security Deposit and I have repeatedly complained/disputed the majority of these transactions, but Republic Bank & Trust Company ****** Customer Support always tried to use creative bookkeeping via their responses and I end up forgetting to follow up. I intend to pursue this until they are formally audited this time!

      I am deeply concerned about the sharing of my nonpublic information with credit bureaus and the resulting inaccuracies on my credit report. This situation has caused significant financial and emotional distress. Under 15 USC 1681 Section 602, I have the right to financial privacy, and I expect my information to remain confidential. Furthermore, 15 USC 1681 Section 604(a)(2) states that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish account information without my written instructions, which I have not provided. I have identified inaccuracies on my credit report from World Finance, impacting my financial well-being. I request these inaccuracies be corrected promptly. Lastly, please remember 15 USC 1666(b), which prohibits treating payments on a credit card account as late under certain circumstances. For reference, my account details are as follows: Account Number: ****** I request a thorough review of my account, prompt correction of credit report inaccuracies, and strict adherence to federal laws regarding my information. Failure to address these issues may compel further legal action. I anticipate your prompt response and resolution to these concerns. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.       We are in receipt of the above-referenced complaint and appreciate the opportunity to respond. As we
      understand it, Mr. ***** believes his Elastic account has been incorrectly reported to one or more credit
      reporting agencies.

      Elastic is a revolving line of credit product offered by Republic Bank & Trust Company, Member FDIC
      (“Republic Bank”). When Mr. ***** applied for an Elastic line of credit on 7/21/2017, he acknowledged
      his acceptance of the Elastic Credit Agreement and Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”), as a condition
      of account opening. The Agreement discloses that we may report information about his Elastic account to
      credit bureaus.

      Mr. *****’ application was approved and a Credit Limit of $3,500.00 was assigned. The account
      exceeded 60 days past due and charged off on 7/22/2021 with a balance of $3,194.74. The debt was
      subsequently sold to NCB Management Services, Inc. (“NCB”) on 8/24/2021.

      Republic Bank has accurately reported the account history and activity to Clarity; however, we have not
      reported to any of the major credit bureaus. If Mr. ***** wishes to dispute information we have reported
      to Clarity, we ask that he submit his dispute specifying what he believes to be incorrect, as well as any
      supporting documentation, to [email protected]. Because NCB may have reported to one or more of
      the major credit bureaus, we encourage Mr. ***** to address any concerns regarding NCB’s reporting,
      directly with NCB. They may be reached by phone at ###-###-####.

      i filed a federal tax return with tax act and selected this company to receive my refund and take the fees out, the biggest mistake of my life. My refund which is large due to the fact that i own a construction company and we use alot of fuel as we work as a contractor for the state of new jersey and are eligible to claim fuel tax credits. my refund was $70889 which was deposited on august 9th 2023 and i waited for the deposit to no avail. i called the irs and they told me to call republic who informed that they will send back to the irs who didnt request it. the live agent sounded like she was reading from a script. i asked why would take fees out of my refund if you think it’s fraudulent or sending it back to the irs. this company takes advantage of taxpayers who are due a refund and never gives information about their refund. this is a predatory company that often keeps refunds for a long time to obtain interest then its sends it back to the irs. i have filed a complaint with the irs also. send me my refund or send it back to the irs. stop playing games with taxpayer’s money

      Credit reporting. I have disputed these payments and have not be contacted after submitting dispute therefor it should not be on my credit report. Additionally, republic bank (elastic) unlawfully provided a predatory loan which is prohibited in the state of Maryland. Like this has occurred in DC the persons did not need to repay because it was prohibited predatory loans to low income and disadvantaged persons. Therefore this amount of 3000 should be voided.

      I opened a secured credit card through Republic Bank & Trust. I paid $350 as collateral to secure it, with the understanding that I would get this money back if and when I close the account. I have since reached out to them to close the account/card, as I have reestablished credit. I assumed they would mail me a check for the $350. I have spoken and emailed with multiple employees/staff at the main corporate office (Jerry, Sabrina, *********, Megan). I live several hours away from the nearest Republic Bank & Trust, so it would be an inconvenience to go in person. It was explained to me that I could get my money back if I send in a copy of the front and back of my driver’s license, along with a letter explaining I would like to close the account, my signature, and address. I sent all that in through their ‘Easy Support’ contact system online. I missed one phone call from them, and since then have been unable to reach anyone who knows about the issue or can tell me how to get my $350 back. I am beyond frustrated with the situation, and find it unprofessional.

      I have only received 1 voice message from **********  She did not leave a last name nor an extension number, so it has been next to impossible to reach her back.  I have saved the RB&T phone numbers in my iPhone’s phonebook, and have not seen 7 missed calls from them.  I have also repeatedly left my correct/current phone number, mailing address, and email address in the hopes that she will reach out in another way.  Additionally, I uploaded both sides of my driver’s license as well as a signed and dated letter with my current mailing address **** * ****** *** ************ ** ****** to the RB&T Easy portal, asking for the account to be closed and the collateral to be mailed to me.  The card #, again, is: ******************** *** **** **** *****.  I’m happy to verify/send any other info needed to resolve this matter which has been ongoing for over a month now.

      The *** sent my Refund to the Republic Bank and I was calling and trying to get information on how my money will be sent to me and I was told it’s will be mailed out when I asked where will it be mailed too and why by mail and not by Direct Deposit I was told they will not do Dirext deposit and will not send my check to a PO Box. After trying to reach the CO like it says on the bank website I get a call and an email from a person who was very nice but did not help me with my issue he tried but did not get anywhere and told me I will get a call from someone within three days and it’s been almost two weeks finally when I got the check it did not match the numbers from the *** the bank charged me over $350 the fee by ****** ******* who deliberately did damage on my return because I’m not American and I wrote a review against them a year back. They. Raised The flag on identity theft with the *** it took over a year for me to get my refund and when I get it the bank takes ** fees. For messing up my taxes.
