      I hired Alpha Moving Solutions for a move on September 22, 2022. It was a two trip move within a 5 mile radius. The move took 8 hours. I had two items that were over the weight limit (that I was unaware of ), so I opted to pay for one, not the other. The movers requested cash, $100 for this. When I received my over the phone quote, the person did mention that there was an additional charge. I assumed that I would be paying that with the final bill, but they requested cash. Red flag. My complaint is that my table was scratched and my love seat was chipped. When I called and complained on Sept 26, Cory, whom I spoke with told me that there was a 24 hour window in which to make a claim. As with most moves, we had to finish cleaning and moving a few boxes on Friday, which took us the duration of the day and I forgot to call. He first told me that paint just comes off of furniture during a move and that he was aware it happened, Secondly, he said that the requirement was in the written estimate, which I never received. Thirdly, he stated that it was in the contract, We signed the contract as the movers got here and the clock was ticking, Obviously, we did not do a thorough review, nor can we find it at this point because it was signed at the beginning of the move. Cory was very dismissive and rude. He also said the movers were suppose to take pictures if there were any damage. They did not and we had a discussion with them about it. No written estimate is their fault and I feel that I should be reimbursed for their destruction of my property. They also broke a globe outside and didn’t tell us that. We only noticed that when we went back to old house. You can’t possibly notice everything within 24 hours and I think the policy is ridiculous and will never hold them responsible for anything. Without a written estimate, shouldn’t I be reimbursed? Cory is depending on the written estimate which was not provided. Thank you for attention in this matter.

      I called ***** as I had an outstanding deposit of $50 for a future move with this company. I called in 2 weeks prior to my move , set it up for August 6th 2022, between 10-11 am, and explained I was moving from a 3 bd rm apt to a 2 bd rm house with stairs. I said and quote that I would need about 4 hours and it would possibly take 2 or 3 men and I would be getting a 26t ft ******. He stated to me 120 an hour and 2 men would get it done in 4 hours no problem. I said ok because I for sure cant do more than 4 hours. He said no problem at all they can get it done. So moving day comes and 2 guys show up at 1045am. It takes almost 3.5 hours just to LOAD UP the ****** We left apt at 230pm. Other companies I have used in the past NEVER have taken that long EVER. So I ask once we get to the house, as they start unloading and an hour goes by how much longer do you think its gonna be and what is this gonna cost, now mind you I had already called ***** and he rushed me off the phone like it was no big deal. He knew I had a cap of 4 hours. The cost at this point was almost 650 bucks...I was so mad. It was now 545-6pm. (they took a couple breaks) I was like oh no that is not what we agreed upon. The movers were gonna stop in the middle of the move and leave. It took them 6 hours to do this move that should have taken 4...I have had other companies do a move in 4 or less but this company was recommended to me as a great company but NOPE!!!!! The guys yes they worked their tales off and took great care of our belongings but I will say that I will never use this company again. Final cost was 720 bucks. I have never in my life paid over 300 for a move. I feel we deserve a REFUND for being mislead, LIED TO Repeatedly, and also them not sending the needed help because the sup on the job even sent a pic to ***** asking hey we need another person and ***** said no youre good to him. SOOOO ***** just wanted more money from us. He didnt even take OFF OUR DEPOSIT of $50!!!!
