      I am demanding a refund for $1300 + tax. I purchased a car stereo (****** *****) from Sonic Electronix back on 10/02/21 as a Christmas gift due to supply chain issues. Their website states that it fits my 2008 Chevrolet Corvette. I took it to ** *** **** on 12/28/21 for installation only to find out that it won't fit my vehicle. I contacted Sonic Electronix immediately to start the return process. At first they rejected the return because it is outside their so-called "60 day money back no-hassle return policy". I explained my situation to a gal on the phone on 12/30/21. She told me she spoke with her manager and they approved the return and they sent me a link to purchase a fed-ex shipping label. After I shipped the item, later that evening I received an email from ******* *. stating it was only approved for warranty credit. I had to purchase another unit from ** *** **** the other day to have installed because this one wouldn't fit, which I explained in a response e-mail and that I had spoken on the phone earlier and had the return approved, only to find out AFTER it was shipped that it is only approved for warranty credit. I have also asked her in 2 e-mails for corporate contacts and she hasn't provided them to me. I called and spoke to another gal today 12/31/21 who is going to speak with her manager, ****. I asked for his contact info but she said he doesn't have any. This is very shady. This is the fault of Sonic Electronix for posting false information stating that it fit my vehicle. If it were accurate I would not be in this position because I would have purchased a different unit to begin with. Not only that, but now I was also lied to by their management (since I was told by the rep on the phone that my return was approved as long as I paid the return shipping AND I received an email stating such) and then I am told I can only have warranty credit AFTER I shipped the item under the pretense that I was getting refunded. I am still demanding a full refund.

      Date of the transaction was 11/20/21 Terrible experience I’ll never spend another penny with these scam artists. You buy a “new” item and they send you a box with a hole in it and tape coming off the top. Then when you go to return it they make you pay for the return shipping! On top of that, when they receive the item back, they charge a RESTOCKING FEE. On an item they sent to me that was already opened. Definitely shop elsewhere if you’re at all concerned about being swindled out of your money at every step of the way. I’ll be disputing the charges. Rude customer service from everyone you speak to especially ******* *. And *******. Just an awful company.

      On November 3, 2021, I made an order from Sonic Electronix for a JL amplifier that was supposed to include an amplifier wiring kit. The products were supposed to be sent via next day delivery, I paid extra for it. In the end, my product was not shipped next day air but via their normal free delivery method. When the package arrived, it had an amplifier but no wiring kit. I feared initially it was my mistake and I had not clicked the box for the amplifier with kit. On November 10th, I sent an email to Sonic Electronix and informed them of the errors. I received a reply stating I would receive a refund for the extra shipping and the amp kit would be sent. In November 19th, after dealing with two different people, I was refunded the extra shipping money I had paid. It is now December 2nd and I have come to the conclusion I will not be receiving the amplifier wiring kit. I am posting this here since I could not resolve the issue through email.

      I ordered a double din head unit, wiring adapter and a mounting kit. I received the double din and wired it up and everything worked except the eq part of the radio, I called Sonic to get some help and they didn't even have a tech support so I had to talk to someone in customer service he said he would send a rma number, I finally got it and went to send it back and they say I have to pay for a shipping label, I should not have to pay to return something when it was defective from them. They are very rude and don't want to help you just get your money and be done.

      On 10/19/2021 I placed an order with Sonic Electronix for several items , the total of the order with expedited shipping came to $2,128.10 .. $53.16 of which was extra shipping cost. I received a confirmation email with the merchandise being confirmed and delivery being confirmed for Friday. It is now Tuesday and I have no merchandise. After several attempts contacting *** **... whom I was told by Sonic Electronix was the shipper they could not find the package. Finally at 1 oclock eastern time a Human Resource rep from *** ** found the package and it was only 1 package with 1 item... an amp kit valued at $119. Mind you I have been waiting on this shipment since Friday and it is now 4 days later and still no complete order.I reached out to my sales rep ****** several times thru text and email with no real communication or resolution. After several calls being put on hold by customer service I was told I would receive a call from *********... which never happened. Ironically I called back and after being on hold for 30minutes... as fate would have it ********* answered the phone and was no help at all. At this point I just wanted a REFUND BUT WAS TOLD i HAD TO WAIT FOR *** ** to refund them when *** ** only had 1 item. This is very unfair and shady to say the least. Seems like there is some kind of scam or fraudulent activity going on at this company. I have read several complaints and reviews and this seems to happen all the time. I want a refund immediately. How does this type of thing go unpunished? The shipping department provided false information verified by *** ** by the tracking number as well as an employee stating that there were 2 other shipping companies involved... but I was told something different.

      I ordered a product on 10/15/21 that was confirmed and showed multiple in stock with an arrival state of 10/19/21. On 10/19 my orders still hadn’t shipped at which time I contacted customer support. Customer support the. Verified the product was in stock and I would for sure have my product and she would contact the ware house manager to find out why it did not ship. I asked on that phone call if I needed to cancel my order for a refund and go through another company. On 10/20 at 9 pm I received an email saying my product was instead now on back order with a ship date unknown but at least 5-6 weeks out. I have attempted to reach management with no resolution and instead received a bill from them saying I need to pay $170.

      On 07 12 2021 I purchased a focal kit 165A HD. I took this speaker kit two a *************** stereo installer paid $120 to have it installed. After only 60 days the product became defective, I contacted the company and they told me to send them back via ***** for evaluation under the warranty. I paid $17.00 to ship them back to Sonic electronics. I then went back to the stereo install shop paid another $120 to have the speakers removed so that I can send them back to the manufacturer. While I was at the shop I told the technician to sell me another set of speakers because I didn't even know if they were going to be warrantied as defective. I was contacted by Sonic Electronics and they said I have a store credit and no refund will be made. Total loss incurred by me so far $240.00 labor $17.00 shipping. I demand a refund immediately.       I listened to the phone call this customer made to us.  He did not ask to cancel his order.  He specifically said "I'll look around online and probably cancel this order next week."  I will send the recording in wave form if needed.  He did not cancel, and per our return policy https://www.sonicelectronix.com/return-policy he is responsible for shipping.
