  I just wanted to Thank you to Roto Rooter plumbing, for the best service and fixing our problem in timely manner. WE have been using them for a few years now, with always great resalt. My especially Thanks to Mike and Brian Who always been helpful during all those years for us. They were very professional and knowledgeable. I will always recommend them to our friends and Family.   I contacted Roto Rooter, 1600 S. Preston St., Louisville, KY to come to my house to unclog a floor drain in my basement. We had an appointment for them to meet me at my house after I got off work at 4:00 p.m. They called and he got there before I did. When he came in, he had a tablet and immediately scrolled down and had me sign at the bottom. I am a senior citizen and did not even have my glasses on. He did not explain what I was signing and I had no idea what I signed and assumed it was merely for him being there and the appointment that day. I took him downstairs and showed him where the clogged drain was. i stayed upstairs. After about a half an hour he contacted me. He told me his snake or line was stuck down into the drain and he did not know how he was going to get it out. He proceeded to tell me that I would probably have to have the concrete floor busted up and that it would be my responsibility because I have an old house and the drain is old. Finally, he called another co-worker to come out and assist him. After about a half an hour, his co-worker came out and they finally got the line out of the drain. They told me that the drain was clogged because of tree roots. He tried to lightly snake the drain maybe once or twice more before he left. He charged me $180.00. The drain has never been this clogged!!! It was not even this bad before they came over and tried to unclog it!!!!!! If we have any backups from the sewer, my whole basement will be flooded. If you call any other plumber and they cannot get a line unclogged, they do not charge you!!!! Needless to say, I will never call Roto Rooter again and I will definitely tell my friends and relatives to never use them. I do not feel I should have been charged anything. Thank you!
