My complex has been without hot water for 7 days. There are children and elderly in this building. When i first called Shaun Haley - he laughed at me about it. There is no since of urgency with getting it resolved. They also raised the HOA by 15% this year and when i asked if we would be prorated for the days without hot water - he once again laughed at my request. This is ridiculous.

We are very sorry that a circulating pump in the complex broke over the holiday weekend. Normally we have 2 pumps moving waters trough the lines, and when one pump goes down, only luke warm water is available. We IMMEDIATLEY contacted the plumber approved by the board and parts were ordered....expected delivery and installation is today. However, this is beyond our control and to date we have provided 5 community updates , almost daily as to the status of the pump installation and apologies. Proof of the Reach Alerts sent can be provider if required. Second item in reference to the 15% fee increase. We do not control the fees, we merely collect what the board has instructed. The board chose to raise the fee last year, not Kentucky Realty. Owners can't decide to prorate their monthly payment based on receiving warm instead of hot water, when they are one unit of 80, and the water bill is 10% of the total budget.....this also is a board decision, not one made by Kentucky Realty. We are very sorry that something broke and owners are at the mercy of parts delivery in much the same way as I had to wait 5 days for my HVAC system to be fixed when a part had to be ordered for my personal home. It was/is out of our control.

Please provide proof of the Reach alerts. Also - lukewarm water is not what we have. It’s cold water. You cannot shower or wash dishes with the cold water that has been available. Though KY Realty is not over the HOA amount, which is news to me, the property manager should not be laughing at residents who are asking about being prorated. And saying ‘he doesn’t care.’ Poor customer service.
