      Glasses are cheap quality and scratch easily but i figured it was worth it for the lifetime warranty but i was wrong i just tried warrantying my second set out and turns out life time is only 2 years wtf garbage

      I was able to take advantage of the insurance program to replace lost glasses. That they even have a program like this is amazing enough, but my transaction was quickly approved and I received my glasses in just a few days. Just amazing. Thank you, Shady Rays!

      Currently a bit frustrated with Shady Rays. I ordered a pair based on a recommendation from a colleague. It has been more than a week and I still do not have my order. Several days ago, they were located 40 miles from my home. As of a couple of days ago, they are in Oakland, CA...half a country away. I emailed customer service and they responded with the statement, "If you do not receive them on Monday, 2/3 to contact them and they would send out a replacement pair.". I contacted them this morning and now they won't replace it until the end of the day on Wednesday, 2/5. I politely requested they honor their previous statement and Mariah responded with "we will, after Wednesday". This does not give me any confidence that I will see these sunglasses.

      Hey Laura! Sorry to hear of your experience and delay with your order. Unfortunately, USPS has been experiencing nationwide delays that has affected shipping times across the region. Regardless of location during transit, as long as there are recent updates showing the package is moving, we are unable to reship an order until the estimated delivery date has passed. This is the reason we asked that you wait until Thursday, February 6th to see if the order arrives. Some orders take routes that unfortunately we cannot explain as we are not the carrier, however most are being delivered to their destination even if arriving late. Based on the tracking of your two orders, it looks like you were able to receive both of them. We have emailed a return label for you to get the duplicate order back to us. Please let us know if you should need anything else or have any questions, we are happy to assist.

      Firstly, I have purchased dozens of pairs of sunglasses from SR over the past 8 years. On 11/29/2024 I placed an order for 4 pairs of sunglasses from SR for Christmas presents, as I have often done in the past. I was told that SR were notified on 12/7/2024 that the shipment was damaged, but ignored the notification. Meanwhile, the tracking status said, and continues to say, that the order will be delivered by the end of the day. At 9:45PM on 12/24, when the order hadn't arrived in time for Christmas, I contacted the company about the problem. On 12/27 they responded saying they'd set up a priority reshipment ASAP. When by mid-day on 12/30 the order status had not changed, I reached out again and they said the order would go out that day. When on 1/6/2025 the status had still not been updated, I reached out again and was told it would ship within 24-48 hours. When on the morning of 1/9/2025 the status still had not been updated, I was eventually able to speak to a manager who said that the order had shipped with expedited status that day and would arrive by 1/13/2025. When I didn't receive the order by 6PM on 1/13/2025 I checked, and the label had been created, but the carrier had not yet received the package. So, I still have not received the package, and now it is supposedly going to arrive tomorrow. I am extremely frustrated by this whole experience. In my communications with SR they want to blame the carrier and weather for the 6+ week delay, but it's not true. It is very disappointing that they treat anyone like this, never mind a long time customer. I am submitting this review here because when via text I asked how I could leave a review of the company on their website, I was told I could not, but should instead submit one to the BBB, so I am. I am not expecting any actions as a result of this review, other than hoping it might help make SR treat their (especially long time) customers with more integrity. SR can do a better than this.

      Hey Bruce! We appreciate you being a long time customer with us and understand your frustration. We would have no way of knowing your order was damaged and not delivered, we can only see what the tracking is showing us, which as you said was showing that it would be delivered by end of day. When you reached out to us on Christmas Eve we were closed for the holiday. When our team was back in office we set up a reshipment of your order with priority processing. When your order did not updated and you reached out to us we set up a second reshipment with 2 Day Rush Shipping. Our warehouse is located in Louisville Kentucky which was unfortunately hit with a large snow and ice storm that closed our warehouse on the 6th and 7th. This storm caused delays not only with us but with many of the carriers in our area. The label was created on December 9th, the following day we were hit with more snow causing our warehouse to close to keep our employees safe. It looks like your order has been delivered this afternoon. I do agree that the delays are certainly frustrating and we hope that as a long time customer of Shady Rays you know this is not normal for us at all. Our team provided you with the information they had available to them and reshipped not once but twice to ensure you get your order. We do hope that you understand and continue being a loyal Shady Rays customer.

      Very impressed with everything from shipping time and care, packaging, information with, and especially quality,clarity and petformance of the shades. Absolutelty just as good if not better than name brands multiple times the price. Very solid quality polarized with incredible, -loose them/break them/scratch them.warranty !! Great product.

      I've been a loyal Shady Ray customer for nearly four years, and I can confidently say these sunglasses are top-notch. Recently, I encountered an issue with the blue tint on the lenses, and the customer service team went above and beyond. They replaced the pair at no cost and shipped it out the same day, which was an incredibly refreshing experience. It's rare to find a company that stands behind its products the way Shady Ray does. These sunglasses are high-quality, durable, and backed by excellent support. Thank you for the solid product and service!

      I have been a customer of Shady Rays since they were a startup company. This company is terrific, and they stand by their product with an outstanding warranty and replacement sunglasses. I have NEVER had an issue with them and have used their sunglasses for years. Cool sunglasses, great warranty, and feeding the hungry… really, what more could you ask for?!!

      My sunglasses broke after less then 4 months. They are charging me $25 to replace their defective product. Furthermore, I had to go through screen after screen online where they were trying to upsell me or make me add more item to my replacement order. SHADY is an accurate word this company is shady and trys to screw their customer. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

      Hey Ron! We work really hard as a brand to stand behind our product as much as possible, as our mission is truly to solve the problem of losing and breaking sunglasses! As you might imagine, there are high costs to replace quality polarized eyewear, process those orders, and ship to each customer quickly. Our goal of the processing fee is to help offset that cost so that we can continue to offer what we hope is the best protection program available anywhere. If you believe the damage to your shades was a result of a Craftsmanship issue, please send us additional photos of the shades, along with a description of how the damage occured so that we can review with our Warranty Team and potentially replace under our Craftsmanship Warranty.

      These guys suck. Kept getting ads on how good the glasses were and how you get replacements if you happen to lose them. Bought a pair and they were great, lost them and went to get a replacement but customer service had ignore my messages for a week straight. Will never buy again they are dishonest and shouldn’t be trusted

      There lost/broken replacement program has come in handy for me many times and I really appreciate the fact that they will replace the shades I love at a fraction of the price! Submitting a replacement request is seamless and quick and I have my new pair within a few days.
