      Ordered a new washer machine. Device was set to be delivered today and they showed up looked at me and said no they would not deliver because the driveway was too steep for them they will either leave it at the end of the driveway or i can pick it up. I was forced to use time off to wait for this delivery and now i am paying expedited delivery from another company so i can get my washer machine replaced.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was forced to waste my time waiting for the delivery that never went through. I had no issue having a ge washer delivered from ****** the next day with no complaint or pushback from that vendor.

      I bought a portable dishwasher from GE on ******* on July 14, 2023. IT stopped working May 11, 2024. I scheduled service with GE. They sent out someone from *** ********* ******. They couldn't fix it and never called back. I aske GE to send a different company out on May 20, 2024. A repair appointment was scheduled with * *** * ****** for May 30. The technician ordered a part abut didn't schedule a return appointment. I called and then they came out June 10, 2024. This didn't fix the issue so they ordered more parts, were supposed to come back on the 19th of June, rescheduled that at the end of the day and came out on June 20th. Still didn't fix it and ordered more parts. They were supposed to come out today and they cancelled again and said they can't come out again until July 8th. GE says they won't replace the appliance until their service department says its not fixable. They need to replace the portable dishwasher. It is less than a year old and this process is taking almost tow months now. They offer to send me money but that doesn't solve the issue. I have spoken to GE on several occasions and one person did tell me if they rescheduled again they would start the replacement request but now they say no.

      We purchased a gas stove top from Lowe's that could be converted to propane (it came with the parts). From day one, one of the burners shoots out an extra high blue/orange flame. It leaves black spots on all my pots. We have gotten to the point of not even using the burner b/c it is ruining our pots. I have made numerous call to GE to get this fixed or replaced. They sent parts and had my plumber fix it. He did and it didn't resolve the problem. They had Sears Repair come fix it. They couldn't. They sent more parts and had Sears come out again (after continuously calling them about nobody coming). Again, these parts did not fix it. The Sears repair man sent pictures to GE of our pots and the flame. I had also sent an email with a picture of a pot and the flame. The Sears repair man even called his boss. They called GE and told them they were not able to fix it. GE told him to tell us that we would just have to 'live with it' and did nothing more. I even told them that if they couldn't fix it, they needed to replace it. Since they refuse to do this, I request a full refund and I will purchase from another company. This has been going on since day one. They are pushing us off until it is no longer in warranty. I have made 23 phone calls to them and spoken with several different people. These phone calls took away over 4 1/2 hours of my time total. This doesn't make any sense. I have included my call log and email in the attachment. We can take more pictures if you need them.

      GE Opal Ice Maker 2.0 XL Paid $609.07 Transaction date: 2/14/24 Product Defective date: 6/25/24 Description of defect: Ice Maker continues to say "Add Water" when water is already in the product. Called their Opal Product support team and they deemed it defective. 6/25/26 - Contacted GE Opal Ice Maker support, the team troubleshooted the device, then stated that a "claim" had to be filed. Provided me with a phone number to make my claim. 6/26/24 - Called the phone number for a claim ************. Advised that they don't repair small appliances and that I would have to purchase a new appliance and submit for a rebate/reimbursement claim which could take another 6-8 weeks for processing. Advised them that this is not an acceptable approach. The consumer have to spend another $600 to get their item replaced under warranty, then wait for a check in the mail. The agent agreed that it was a poor experience, apologized, and said that it was all they could do.

      Ge dryer not working. Less than year old. 3rd service issue. Customer service is horrible and offered no help. They were completely ignorant how to even schedule appliance repair appointment. They were rude and dismissive.

      I bought a brand new GE washer from **** ***** back in November of 2023. In January I was already having to call GE warranty because the washer would not start. It was saying ‘lid lock’ on the panel. I tried to return it to **** ***** but they wouldn’t allow it saying it’s an issue for GE to handle. I call GE and get an appointment about a MONTH out saying that’s the soonest a tech can come. They ordered the lid lock device. Mean while I’m paying for a brand new washer I can’t even use. The device gets installed and the washer still isn’t working. So now the tech orders the main board. It gets installed and about a month later same issue happens again. The washer is saying ‘lid lock’ and won’t start. So I call GE again and once again have a tech come out order both the lid lock and main board, install it and not even a week later the washer is doing the same thing. So again I call GE tell them I the washer is a lemon, that I want it gone or my money back. They said there is nothing they can do except going around in circles and keep ordering the same parts and keep having the washer fail. It’s now June and I have only been able to use the new washer for a solid 2 1/2months. I even had to go out and buy a whole other washer to keep as back up. We are a family of 5 (3 little ones) and the amount of laundry that occurs is crazy. I just want the washer gone and my money back plus interest. I have some emails from GE regarding this but it’s been mainly by phone.

      Bought GE Profile refrigerator a month and a half ago from ******* **** ***** Never worked right since I moved in May 1st top half don’t stay cool Freezer melted everything, door makes ice cubes flooded my kitchen floor water pouring out of it. I’m a diabetic my shot are 1000.00 a week now have to be replaced. Contacted ******* then said they have nothing to do with it referred me to GE Care 2 hours on phone so far. I’m a senior and live alone they refuse to replace my refrigerator. Been since last Friday now they say they possibly can get someone to look at it next Friday. It’s totally unacceptable. Now I have no medication. ******* Home turning a blind eye to my severe problem.

      I have had them out 4 times already, they have replaced the board and the fan with no help. It's time to give me a refund and come and get this one. It is so unprofessional not being able to tell some that there time of visit is between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. that make it where I'm stuck here at the house all day. You have no respect to your customers.

      The GE dryer is 2 years old. It has a 5 year warranty. The thumping noise started on 4/14/2024. GE sent out 2 different companies after my complaint that the first company replaced tub (told me the metal tub shrunk) WHAT? Wasn't the drum, then they replaced the motor and blower assembly and the idler arm. Still thumping. Left oil marks on my white carpet, not once, but twice, I want my carpet cleaning paid for by GE. I wanted a different company to come out, I was NOT happy with the first company at all. So the second company came out, said it was the rear panel, and GE sent out a front panel instead, so still not fixed. GE then sent out the rear panel. Repairman came out, and said he wanted both side panels and the real panel. I argued with GE and they finally agreed to send out the other two panels. Two repairmen came out today and installed all 3 new panels. Still thumping, said they needed more parts for the back panel. Today is 6/21/2024. I have NOT been able to use my dryer for 2 months plus two weeks. I live by myself, and I'm 70 years old. I have had to take my wet clothes out to get dryed. I have had it with GE. I want a new dryer, and I want them to pay to have my carpet cleaned. I have had, what 7 or 8 visits from repairmen, waiting a 4 hours span each time, made hours of phone calls to GE, had repairmen not even show up. I am FINISHED with GE. Please get me a replacement dryer. OH, and they do not take the large tub, motors, assemblies, panels or huge boxes that were replaced, I had to get rid of them all.

      On 10/30/23, my wife and I purchased a GE all in one washer and dryer from the ******* in Maple Grove MN for $2811. Model: ************ Serial# *********. The unit performed as expected until some time in February 2024, when at that time, the unit stopped drying the clothes. Not knowing that the unit was under warranty I called a service tech out who inspected the unit but could find nothing wrong. The same tech suggested I contact GE Appliance Support, which I did. GE was unable to dispatch a technician for approximately 2 weeks. When they did arrive, they serviced the unit, flashed the software on the system with a couple updates, and discovered that a sensor had gone bad causing our issue. The tech did not have the part so it was ordered. Approximately two weeks after our appointment, I received a message saying the part was on back order. I waited an additional month and then called GE again, only to discover that the part needed would be on back order till July 3rd! The GE rep. said that they might be able to find the part on their end which they did. Once found the part was shipped to me and another 2 weeks were necessary to schedule the appointment with the tech for replacement. The part has now been replaced yet the dryer is still not functioning! I called GE back to get a refund on an obvious lemon to which I was told "The unit hasn't been deemed unfixable yet". Unfixable?!! How about not working!!! We have been extremely patient with GE and gone through this entire process without a working unit now for 3+ months!!! It is completely unacceptable that a brand new unit costing nearly 3000 dollars would perform so poorly. It is equally unacceptable to have the system serviced without fixing the issue while waiting these 3 months and been told that we have to have it serviced again waiting God knows how long this time. We selected GE because they have a reputation of standing behind their products. Given the circumstances we are asking for a full refund.
