      Traded vehicle 1/21/25 Toyota still has no payoff and holds me responsible for this vehicle and the are selling it now And I have been contacted by consumer that works from DVM in Hopkinsville about it My account is still open under my name I am responsible under contract for all costs because they went beyond the 10 day payoff they put down as payoff And had me sign some addendum to my contract that I didn’t even have time to read They definitely have know they have breached contract and don’t care and said as much when I contacted them

      I purchased a vehicle from Perkins Motor Plex the beginning of 2023, The vehicle was one of many purchases that myself and my husband had made from this company. The vehicle that I purchased from this company was a 2019 Ford Expedition Max with around 70,000 miles. I did understand the vehicle that I purchased was not new but did in-fact carry a warranty and I purchased the extended warranty as well. The first day that I drove the car off of the lot the car overheated and shut off, I contacted Perkins and they insured it must be a small issue and they would come pick the car up and have it repaired immediately, I required a rental car in which they loaned me a small sedan, I expressed I had 3 children that I would need a larger vehicle one that would match the size of the vehicle i had just purchased but they did not accommodate. Once they picked the vehicle up I asked about trading it for a different car or something to that nature where they explained if I did that I would be out of pocket taxes, registration and some other fee equaling about 2500-3000 (i was very upset with this) so not having the additional money, I decided to let them fix my car and have them return it to me soon. fast forward 1 week my car was back in possession and I was temporarily happy. Since getting my car back it has been in the shop at a local ford dealership 4 times for major repairs including Cam phasers, Turbos, Fuel Pump issues and now the back end is going out. Whenever I contacted Perkins about these issues that started happening almost immediately after the purchase they informed me they could not do anything to help me, could not offer a loaner, could not even suggest a good place for transmission work.. I do have extended warranty with this car but it does not cover the total expenses I have been out of pocket. I am writing this review to inform others of the horrible customer care this company provides after you purchase a car from them. BUYER BEWARE.

      Thankfully, your vehicle's mechanical issues were protected with Perkins Motor Plex Total Care. We facilitate claims through a 3rd party administrator. You mentioned the costs of the repairs were not covered in their entirety. Did they fail to provide coverage for an allowed repair? Or was it the standard charges outlined in your Service Agreement? If they failed to pay for something owed to you, we will ask them for reimbursement.

      we bought a 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport from the Mayfield location in December 2022. We have had some issues with it. , which is not unexpected on a used car. The roof trim came off and had to be replaced  which was a couple of hundred bucks. A few months later and the air conditioning had to be charged which was almost $500 bucks and we were told that the vehicle had been serviced from head to toe. Now our mechanic is telling us that there are major issues with the car. I understand that you all can’t know everything about every vehicle on the lots but this has been a nightmare. It started off wrong because ***** failed to tell us there was only one key fob until all the papers were signed and the price for a second key was over $400. I didn’t think to ask about the keys, I trusted that would have/ should have been disclosed up front. We were at the lot last Friday, September 29th and asked to speak to the Sales Manager. Of course he wasn’t available so they directed us back to ***** which, again gave us a total run around. He just kept talking about how he works for godly people and it was a good place to work. Well, I’m not sure what god you all serve but my God would not treat people the way we were treated by your sales team. I was hoping that you all would at least try and make things right but that’s not what happened. No wonder the BBB rates your customer service department with an F. (I sent this to *** ******** Owner but have had no response) judging by the “F” ratings, it appears I’m not the only person that they have misled. We paid them over $24,000 when all was aid and done less than a year ago and they offered us only $10,000 trade in. Can’t believe the car depreciated over $14,000.00 in less than a year. Our mechanic said there was no way this car should be having so many issues with only 50 something thousand miles.

      I have been requesting this used car dealer buy back the vehicle I purchased for the last month. The dealership is based in Mayfield Ky and I live in Atlanta, Ga. I purchased a 2018 Ford F-150 Lariat that was miss represented by the advertisement and sale person to have a higher package options than it did. The ad and the salesman told men it had a “ technology package” it does not. They say they don’t put vehicel options in ad’s. Which doesn’t make sense for a vehicle ad not to have, and all there other ad’s have them. They keep saying their IT guy can pull the add, which has been off the 5-6 times I’ve called. The truck was missing the spare tire. Which after calling to ask about it they replaced. It also appears to have been painted underneath to cover up rust. I noticed all this the day after I bought the vehicle. I called with my concerns and was told nothing could be done. Sale is final. I later found out the vehicle was an imported from Canada. Which could explain what they call a “protective under coating”. Looks vary similar to flat black spray paint that covers rust under the entire truck. I ask for and told them I would deliver the truck back to them at my own cost and they could keep the deposit of $500 for shipping cost. They will not do anything other than say they feel sorry.

      I bought a used 2018 T***** ******* on 4/22/22 from Perkins Motorplex. I traded in a 2014 *******. On 4/26/22 I talked to salesman, ****** ********* about vehicle shaking and rust on the steering column from the dash to the engine & EVERYWHERE else. The rust couldn’t be seen on the top of the engine. I have pictures. I asked for my truck back but was told it had already been processed. On 4/28/22, I sent pictures of the steering column housing below the steering wheel to show how it had come apart. A piece came off around the ignition leaving a nickel width hole surrounding the ignition. ****** told me they would replace the brakes and rotators to resolve the shaking issue. I told him I didn’t want the truck because of all the rust & I didn’t care what they fixed on the ******* it would never be right. I was told they would make it right. There’s not enough space to write everything from this date to 7/15. I drove a lot of vehicles. I worried a lot about if they would keep their word. On 7/15- drove a ***** that was the same frame as a *******. I was going to buy it. They were going to give me $2500 less for the ******* plus charge all the document fees again. I asked why they weren’t doing what they said they would do, but was looked at & asked “you do know this is a business?” I don’t feel like I can trade or sale this rusty SUV. I would like to have a refund now, minus what’s fair for the miles I have put on this SUV. It had almost 28,000. It now has over 34,000. I don’t know if this site helps with these types of problems. Any assistance you can offer is very much appreciated!

      Yes, I was told I had 30 days.  That’s why they replaced the brakes & rotors.  Then they promised to make

      it right because of all the rust.  I didn’t get that in writing.
