We ordered a portable building that was to be delivered. After nine months waiting (4-28-22 to 2-15-23) they finally attempted delivery. Upon arrival of the building the front French doors were shattered. The delivery staff personally walked the driveway area to the concrete pad the building was to rest on and the delivery staff assured us our prep work was great and assured us easy delivery. After two long excruciating stressful days of witnessing them attempt delivery they were unsuccessful and caused extensive damage to the portable building as well in the process. The driver stated the support beams under the building were cracked and damaged while still at the factory. They had repair this before delivery. The building was dropped at least a dozen times (as evidence on videos) and the entire back wall was ripped off and damaged extensively as well as roofing and porch. They left the building exposed to heavy winds and rain overnight and after leaving the second day. They left after the 2nd day of attempting and stated they would have to get heavier equipment brought in. We then spoke with ****** ******** Vice President of Development and arranged a meeting at the building with him and his factory manager **** *****. During the meeting A***** *** **** were very apologetic and assured us if we decided to not purchase the building, they would make it right and there would not be an issue with refunding the deposit as they had not upheld their part of the contract. They picked up the building on 3/8/23 and have not refunded the deposit as of yet despite multiple emails, calls, texts and false assurance from them they would get it sent to us. On September 20, 2023 their office at EZ Portable Building left us a message they were reviewing the deposit refund and would finalize it and contact us shortly. That was the last communication, and they are refusing to take our calls now. Please refund Deposit!!! We have video of dropping building, but too large to attach.Initial Complaint

I purchased an Ez Shed from local vendor in ***** **** Florida paid a 10,000 dollar down payment. The shed was delivered 9/22/23 with a cracked window, metal roof damage, damaged screen, and a door that is not level. I reported these issues to the vendor in ***** **** and i was asked to send photos of the damage. I complied with sending photos. I waited a few weeks and heard nothing. Reached out numerous times via text. Was told photos were sent to the corporate office and was waiting to hear back. In the mean time i have called numerous times to Paducha Ky corporate office, spoke to several different people was given erroneous email address that would not accept the photos i sent to them. I was further told that the company is going a restructure and all repairs are on hold. I would like for the company to make the necessary repairs needed.Initial Complaint

They dented my home when moving it. They put the electrical box in the wrong spot which made me have to reconfigure my entire bathroom and bedroom, making my bathroom smaller causing my fixtures to not fit. They didn’t fix that. They didn’t put my floor outlets in the correct place. They didn’t send enough outlets and light fixtures and light switches as they were asked and that I paid for, my outside outlets didn’t work. My back door handle was broken and I only got one porch light and I paid for all of this. They told me to go and buy the stuff and send them a receipt and they would pay me back. They’ve never paid me back for it , no one will call me back. No one come out to survey and look at any of the electrical issues but they have no problem calling asking for their payment every month but won’t help me with the issues that they created and the house is not level on the inside not the ground being unlevel the home itself is not level Totally ignores my phone calls emails voicemails. I purchased my unit from **** **** out of Festus Missouri, the unit delivery took longer than what I was told it would take and I was not delivered the correct unit. I accepted anyway because I had plans to live in the unit and could not afford to continue to wait and I was told the unit I originally purchased was delivered to someone else already. Upon delivery, the drivers were unable to set my house on foundation due to mud, I was told they would be back the following week to place on foundation. For 9 months I attempted to contact everyone I could in this company to have my unit moved out of the ditch, notifying them there would be water damage from it just sitting on moist ground with no protection for so long. Finally, a couple months ago **** **** reached out to me and stated he had no idea that my unit wasn’t placed in correct spot and he helped schedule it to be placed on foundation. After placement, we were unable to secure it on piers I had built due to the wood on bottom being rotted from water damage. I notified all parties of EZ immediately and was told all damages would be repaired, I sent photos and measurements as asked and have not received any follow up to when damages would be fixed. Not only can I not progress at all with my project, but my unit and foundation are continuing to be damaged due to EZ’s neglect of my issues. There is no one I have been able to reach that what’s been willing to help any further. This process has been a true nightmare and has put me in the worst financial crisis I could’ve possibly imagined. I need my unit fixed IMMEDIATELY.Initial Complaint

I contacted easy portable buildings in June 2023 and was given a quote for a building that would be delivered in 10 days with a $500 deposit. I spoke to the woman ****** ************ who did not tell me that it was a nonrefundable deposit. After I submitted the payment, I had to ask for the contract, which took forever to get and wants to 10 days have passed. I continue to contact her about delivery and I was told something different every time. On the final time I was told it would be 14 to 21 days after the order date which was July 1, 2023. When I contacted her on two separate occasions after that, she did not respond so I sent an email telling her that I would file a formal complaint as the building was not delivered as promised. I didn’t was all I should’ve received an email for approval and it would be delivered 14 to 21 days after that email. This was again different information that I had received from her since she had explain to me that the building was already passed the approval process. I have reached out several times to easy portable building and received no return call or email.Business Response

Hello, Customer ordered a building with an Electrical Package. We require a customer review and signature on the floor plan drawing before we can begin the build. This was emailed to the customer on 07/13, our Regional Manager as well as Dealer followed up to make sure this was received and signed. No one at our corporate office has heard from Wendy since she purchased. I called earlier to discuss this issue and left a voicemail for a call back. We have this order and can have begin working a delivery schedule with the customer within a couple of weeks, but we need this drawing reviewed and signed immediately before doing so. Customer can contact me at my direct line ************ *ask for ******* and I'm happy to ensure this drawing is received and problem is resolved, we at corporate have not heard anything back on our end and have been awaiting a signature for the electrical drawing. - Regards, - ****** ** *********

Purchased a Modular home ( for North Carolina) from EZ Portable Buildings on 21 March 2022 with a 16 -18 week delivery time. (11 -25 July 2022 delivery). The amount of $61,179.99 was paid in full. As of today 25 April 2023 the modular has not been delivered nor will they refund me my money and no one has reached out from the corporate office to try and resolve the issue. My local EZPB representative has been laid off and told me due to EZPB's lack of communication and willingness to resolve this issue, suggested I take legal action against EZ PortalCustomer Answer

I purchased a shed from EZ Portable/Tru Worth Rentals out of Hopkinsville. I had been making my payments. In November I received an invoice on 1/11/2022for $64.59 ( my regular monthly payment). Then I received another invoice on 12/30/2022 stating I owed 418.95. I immediately tried calling the number on the invoice and the website and the voice mail was full. I went through my emails and reached out to Lauren, my previous account rep, and found out she no longer worked there. I sent emails to [email protected] and did not receive a response until 1/3. When I spoke with *** ***** after a heated conversation with *** ***** I asked for my contract and a payment history. I received my contract. I immediately emailed her back and said that is not my signature and emailed her a second time that I had not received my payment history. I did not receive a response. On 1/6/2022 they repossessed my Shed. In subsequent conversations with anoother account executive and with ******, the supervisor, I found out that there was mishandlings to several peoples accounts and ******* decided to have my shed repossessed with my belongings rather than talk to me about my concerns with my account. ****** also told me that a NSF charge from Feb 2022 wasnt put on the account until December Making it look like my account was 300 days past due. I explained to ****** that I was nver notified. He stated that it wasnt found until Dec. becuase of a previous employee (Allegedly wasnt coding it correctly).And their system makes it look like I never paid February's payment and my account was in arrears. I asked him why no one reached out and he claims that *** **** did. I said I hav never spoken to her before Jan 3, 2023 and I have seen no indication before the December invoice that my account was that far past due. I ordered a shed on May 28th. I put $6000 down. Order # is *****. I was told delivery would be between 16 to 18 weeks after purchase. I have received numerous emails with updates on construction. On August 31st, I received an email that my shed had completed its final inspection. Here it is, October 12th and no shed. My service rep will not give me a name or number of anyone else to speak with. She just keeps telling me that it is in Dawsonville. I even offered to pick it up myself. I just want my building. No one can seem to help me. I can't get my rep to give me the name and number of her boss or someone with authority that can do something.
