    I purchased my 2015 Chevy Camaro in May 2021. I made an appointment with Mike's Audio for June 17, 2021 to have some speakers added. Once I arrived they requested I add a small amplifier to help with the sound. The installation took longer than normal so they asked that I leave the vehicle and they would call me when it was ready. Several days later I went in to check because I couldn't get anyone on the phone. I was told they were just about finish. When they drove my car around my door latch was broken and my trunk wouldn't open. The owner apologized and said he would order the part to repair my trunk and they repaired my door that day. 2 days later my music completely went out. I called several times to get another appointment which ended up being September 9 2021. They inspected and told me they gave me the wrong amplifier and the one needed was out of stock. My parts for the door and trunk were not in. It wasn't until calling months I went back in by appointment on December 13, 2021. During this appointment my trunk was finally fixed however in January I noticed speakers going out one by one. I began calling in February trying to schedule to come back in because I'm under warranty and was not able to get an appointment till April 28,2022. Whenever you call they leave you on hold or hang up on you most importantly they don't return your calls.

    I dropped the vehicle off for the install on Saturday 7/1/2023. I was called and told it was ready. When receiving my bill there was the quoted radio price and installation charge, but there were also charges for adapters, steering wheel integrators, antenna adapters, Flush mount USB, and misc parts. $155.00. There was also a custom installation charge 170.00. None of this was discussed in the discussion that I had with the salesman. When I got into the vehicle I noticed that the backup camera was not connected to the Pioneer unit. I left the vehicle with them. They called later and said that it had been corrected. I Picked up the vehicle and this had been corrected. The Sirius button was greyed out. After some internet searching, I was pretty sure they forgot to install the Sirius tuner. Mike's Audio was closed on Sunday. Took the vehicle back to Mike's Audio on 7/3/2023. Talked to my salesman. He apologized and said that "He should have checked to see that everything that we talked about was done". I said I understand and I agreed to pay for the tuner and stated that there should not be any additional installation or labor charges. He agreed. Told me it would take about 30 minutes. I waited. Vehicle was brought to me. On my bill the Tuner was listed for $95. Interesting that the MSRP on this is $70 according to the Pioneer website. There was also a $45 installation fee. I asked the salesman about the installation charge. His answer was he had to charge this as this is normally covered in the installation. I agreed with him that it should have been but they forgot to install it and this was not my issue but theirs. This was a poor experience and I believe that I was either mislead or just out right lied to. I believe that this will be my last experience with Mike's Audio. I am truly disappointed and will not be recommending them to anyone and will try to steer all business to someone that is more reputable *** **

    As a follow up I was contacted by the Better Business Bureau that Mike’s Audio would like to speak to me. I called as requested and asked for the management team. I was put in touch with ****. I explained the situation. I stated that I was happy with the salesman’s choice of products and the installation. I did state that the salesman did not address additional cables and labor charges and was upset with the lack of communication by the salesman. I also was upset by the additional trip that it took for the Sirius tuner and the additional labor. **** was very apologetic about the issues that I raised and admitted that this had not been handled correctly or up to their standards. I was basically refunded the cost of the tuner and tuner installation labor. I can honestly say that I feel that the problem was corrected to my satisfaction, and I was treated in a respectable and fair way. Shout out to ****, thank you for all your help.
