On August 15th we received a final move out statement showing we were getting a full refund of our deposit. The new tenant moved in on August 16th and their Facebook and instagram post showed it was new tenant move in. On August 29th they sent a new statement showing that they were charging each tenant 97.50 to paint an area by the bar. That are is no bigger than 4x4. We have pictures from move in that show the condition of not just that area but of the whole apartment and how disgusting it was. All the damage is also documented on the form we filled out when we moved in. We have emailed several times with no response for the pictures they claim to have of the damage to which they have not sent or responded to the email. We have asked for a meeting to discuss the issue which have also gone unanswered. We also know the new tenants who have sent a photo showing that the same area has not been repaired and is still in the same condition it was when we moved in and when we moved out. We took over 100 photos that are time, date and location stamped. This business claims to be the best off campus living for SLU students but only intends to take advantage of them. They have several Facebook post with other who have the same issues we are having. No one has even received their deposit back for the move out in July.
