      Turbine roof vent fell off in recent high wind storms, two weeks ago. I can't get in touch with them. It's still under warranty. I'm very disappointed.

      I mr ****** has a 1400 Square-foot roof I think it took 19 squares but Mr. Joel and Mr. Gary his crew that came here at 8 o’clock on a Wednesday morning and started and finish for noon I couldn’t believe it they changed too tubo events and a heater vent and did the roof a fantastic job thanks goes out to south west roofing. And the amazing crew and Carmen was the ground person she did an amazing job thanks to Southside roofing

      These guys left off the roof vent which caused moisture problems in the home, lucky we had a home inspection done a few years after and caught the problem before structural problems started. Never would return our phone calls some we called another company to fix the issue Ronald W

      Responding to Mr. R*****'s response. This was during Hurricane Laura, we have no excuse to have not put on vent. The only explanation is the shortage of products (pandemic, no products locally to buy etc.), very unusual time for all in the roofing business. I'm glad the issue was resolved, regardless of the source. The only thing I can say is we are sorry for the vent - I don't have the file in front of me, but I wanted to acknowledge his feelings and wish we could have earned a higher ranking. Where his house is, that hurricane was a bomb, serious damage. Mr. R***** can call me anytime 3378567663, I'd love to earn his trust and respect. Thank you! Billy Savely, Sr. / President

      I would say thank you for the response, but your company would not call us back to see how you could help so we had to fix it ourself. No matter how busy you are if you can't do the job correctly don't do it. With no ventilation it caused moisture problems in the home, new flooring had to be removed and damaged sub floor had to be replaced at our cost when you have already spend your money on hurricane repairs, $16000.00 was spent on the new sub floor and flooring, thankfully the repairs from this problem wasn't that costly

      Southside Roofing and Home Repairs is in a category of its own and I will be singing their praise to everyone who so much as looks at a house in my presence. They did what no other company was able to do in nearly a year. I called and they called me back the same day, they gave me an appointment within the same week, and Mr. Joe Fournet came out and inspected the damage, AND he gave me an honest and fair quote before he walked out the door. He was upfront, laid out the options, and was true to the Lafayette spirit that has kept me here for nearly 18 years. I can't tell you how much better I sleep without stressing about a leaky roof. Honestly, love their work and can't beat the way they do business. Joe and Southside will have my business for as long as I live in Lafayette.
