I am writing to you in regards to the local business Grand Kitchen & Bath located at Nelson Rd. Lake Charles, La.They came and installed the granite countertops on May 25th 2021. I have a copy of the check for payment of services rendered.To say the least, the countertops were not installed correctly and the craftsmanship and attention to details was WELL below the mark of even close to satisfactory.The cuts were very poor, with rough edges and terrible alignment.The seams were not level and you could feel every place the cuts butted up to each otherThe large cut pieces did not align properly and were installed perpendicular to each other on both sides of the kitchen.I have text messages with dates and times of MANY unanswered phone calls and no replies to text. The few that were replied to assured that he would come inspect all of the concerns with the work and do what is needed to correct the problem and at no cost to myself. The one time he did show up, he was very condescending and tried to tell me I was wrong and convince or persuade me to accept the work as complete. I had other granite contractors come to inspect and provide advice on what to do. Not the first one of the four saw this job as anywhere near minimum standards or even close to acceptable. and went there in person to speak with someone in management about my issues with their services. I talked to the office manager and showed her the pictures I had taken and she agreed as well that this should be addressed and corrected and she would be adding me to the list of priority service. Again they never called and never showed. Once I was finally able to reach them again, the same office manager that assured me this would be corrected at no cost to myself, is now advising me that they will not be returning or fixing any of it. She stated the best they can do for me is reimburse me $400 for my troubles. This countertop installation cost $3150, and is so far below satisfactory and it just is not acceptable
