These people are garbage. The owners son has a self-inflated view of himself and thinks hes some kind of bar-running genius. The only running of the bar he does is into the ground. What a joke. The owner herself is a fridid, rude, crotchety old b****.

We were denied access to goldmine (apparently because the majority of our group was black). My wife and I frequent goldmine for milestone celebrations. We came to celebrate my wifes 30th birthday. We were dressed and in cowboy/cowgirl clothes which was the theme of the party. As some of us began paying the cover, a man said that some of the members of our party were dressed inappropriately. We were in western themed costumes. The rejection seemed to be primarily motivated by race. Hard for me to imagine a group of white ****** sorority girls being turned around at the door. After some frustrating back and forth, one of the members of our party said the rest of our family and friends are already f***king inside. One of the employees said oh, I was about to help you all out but Im not going to get cursed out. All of you need to leave now. To be clear, no one cursed at him, and yes, someone who was frustrated used the f word. We were being discriminated against and the man essentially used our indignation as justification for further discrimination. We asked for our money back for members of our party who had already paid. The woman behind the counter gave them their money and then yelled at them to get out. Very disappointing. The security guards were sympathetic and acknowledged that the situation was definitely race related and that they see the situation frequently.
