    Timeline of events:*December 30th, 2022 (aprox. 12:30pm): After arriving back in *********** after Christmas vacation I received a bill in the mail from Mid-City Family Dentistry for $146.20 that had no description of why I was being billed and also had a late fee of $39.20 even though this was the first bill I received. I immediately called and they said that their billing person was out and would call me back later. I received no phone call back.*January 3rd, 2023 (aprox. 12:30 pm) After receiving no call back, I called Mid-City family dentistry back and asked to speak with their billing department. While talking to them they said that I was being charged for the leftover amount that my insurance would not cover and that if I wanted the late fee waived that i would have to send them a picture of the bill that they sent me. I found this odd as they were the ones who sent me the bill in the first place. I told them I would have to call back tomorrow and send the picture because I was at work and did not have the bill with me.*January 4th, 2023 (aprox. 12:30pm): I called back and sent them the picture. they told me they could waive the late fee. I asked for a new itemized bill describing what I had been charged for and what my balance was. They told me they could email it to me. I received no email by the time I got out of work, 4:00pm, so I sent them an email stating please make sure to use this email address as I have not received a bill yet.*January 11th, 2023 (aprox 1pm): I called back again to find out about my bill. I still had not received an email with the bill and it had been one week. After speaking to the billing manager and sending another email to them in order to make sure that they had the correct address, they finally sent an email to me with the itemized bill with no late charge.My complaint is that I had to contact them 6 times (including the 2 emails) in order to get an itemized bill with no late fee, when the bill was never late.
