      On May 10,2023(Wednesday The Sewage board.Contractors workers was fitting a firer high general.Due to leakages however they was.Pulling out to replace with new Fire water.General and accidentally pulled all the wires.Down from light pole that connects our energy.My Landlord have to get repairs by electrical.And we lost lights power and food due.To the Sewage and water board contractors.Error of mistakes now we waiting until.The for ************** receives the permit.To restore our light power now been several.Days of no power our inconvenience by.No faults of our own soo we need help assistance.For our losses of lights power and food and shelter.Appreciate if Sewage and.Water board can help by paying for the losses.We encounter Thank you

      I began service at this property February 22nd,2023. I didnt move into the house until after I gave birth to my son on March 12th. Ive been calling every week since March 22nd asking for a bill and every customer service representative said no bill was generated. My first meter reading was March 27th and after that date, I continued to call for a bill and no one was able to tell me what the balance was or when I would receive bill in the mail. I called again today, May 9th, and now I have a bill for $452.49 for only 34 days of service! 34 days of service my bill is $452! No one lived in this house prior to me moving in after my son was born March 12th. How is a bill for 34days $452! I was home March 27th when the company complained to come out to read the meter but no one came on the property to read anything. Im home all day with my newborn, I sit in the carport area and no one came to my house that entire week. Where are they getting this reading from? I need to see proof of the meter reading, a photo with a time stamp of my meter from the day they came out to turn the water on to the day the company claims to have came to my property on March 27th. Theres no way my water bill should be this high. Its only my newborn and I that live in the house. No water is turned on outside, there are no leaks inside or outside the house either. I dont have an irrigation system or a dishwasher. 23 thousand gallons of water use in 34 days is outrageous! The average monthly water usage is ***** gallons of water but Im the only adult here and I have a newborn. Even for 2 months of water usage I should be anywhere near 2***** gallons of water. I do laundry twice a week, shower once a day and I rarely cook. I need this investigated because Im not paying $452 for 34 days of service if this is going to be my monthly water bill. Whats going on!? I need to be contacted by the business with the real readings of my meter with photo proof and my bill adjusted to the correct billing

      On April 20th a sewage and water driver damaged our fence. One end of our block has been closed for a year due to their construction. He backed up into the middle of the street without properly judging his distance and knocked down our fence. There is an empty lot next to our neighbor's house that he could have backed into. We had to patch it back together with duct tape for the time being, which is basically a band aid. The fence cannot stay closed without putting a brick there to keep it closed. We can't let our little dog out for fear of him getting out of the yard or injured. We want a new fence.

      This is a compliant against ********** Brd (***)****- On 2/14/23 the company stole $1,090.46 out of my ******************** ***** account by using my debit card number and entering an AutoPay code to my water bill, which I never approved.. I immediately contacted *****, they issued a stop payment and later informed me to contact the company to get reimbursed. ************ acknowledged the illegal transaction and issued a reimbursement but it was never received by *****. I contacted the water company by phone and in person approximately five times. I spoke with three customer service employees and three supervisors. Also, two emails were sent to the director of customer service. Their response is "It was returned to your bank." I spoke with three representatives from ***** and their responses were "Nothing was received from SWB." I showed SWB supervisors my bank history sheet for the month of February and no money from SWB was received. As of this date I've not received my money. I changed my debit card and requested that SWB send me a check. Please help me to get my money. Thanks!

      This is concerning complaint # ********. I just looked at my bill and they have turned off my water 1 week before my bill is due for this month. WHAT!!!??!?!?!?!?!? I swear if I could *** i would this is unacceptable. This is ********. They sneak in turn off my water a week early.

      I received a bill for $250.61 and I told SWBNOLA that the reading had to be wrong because it's NO WAY I could use that much water. The lady told me to pay my usual amount and she was putting it under investigation. I paid $82.00 and then I received another bill for $18.58. I paid that amount. The investigator ******* came out December 19,2022 and she said she didn't see anything wrong and after she turned in her report I should receive a letter of her results. I have not received that letter yet. I have then reached out to ****** at SWB and asked her what else could I do. She said I can ask for an administered hearing, and someone would contact me. It's NO WAY I could have used $250.61 worth of water. It's ONLY me. When I went outside the meter was completely covered in sand because they had just resurfaced my street. The meter did NOT read it correctly. MY address is ********************************************************************. The letters at first said under investigation but now online it's saying it past due and to pay by January 2, 2023. I have always paid my bills ahead of time because I am on a fixed income. Please assist me in settling this error. I can be reached at ************ anytime or leave me a message. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. I have pictures but I don't know how to upload them.

      After being threatened in august and September three times to send my debt to collections (I had only just opened an account with them August 26th and received my threat Sept. 4th), I filed a complaint against the sewerage and water board of New Orleans. I had not received a bill, and still have not received a bill. Only people telling me over the phone what my bill amount SHOULD be. I was also sent to different departments other than the correct one, when finally, someone said theyd have a supervisor give me a call. Nobody ever did. The morning of Dec. 24th, I wake up to my water being shut off and never received a warning or letter that it would be cut off. I am looking to have my water turned back on, and I am looking to file a lawsuit against the sewerage and water board of New Orleans.

      ******************************************* Board of New Orleans is a business that is expected to provide accurate, honest readings to consumers. Unfortunately, they have continued to overcharge my account for water usage. When I first took notice, I reached out and requested a review in 2020. However, they concluded their readings were correct. Ive experienced higher bills, disconnection, poor service. During an in-person visit, I was baffled by the service received and the details shared. While being helped, I learned there were multiple occasions I was overcharged, and the individual was polite enough to highlight what they noticed. Even went further to note that the one who reviewed "knew better" to not see the readings. Such is stressful. To know the information is inaccurate and continue to charge, disconnect and expect more money. There should be a thorough federal investigation into the business. This should not be allowed nor continued.

      I have several issues with Sewerage & Water Board New Orleans. I have contacted the company no less than three times to resolve these issues with no response. 1. There is water leaking outside of the residence that keeps the grassy area near my mailbox soaked with water and muddy. I requested that ******************************************* Board come to check it so that any water leaks impacting my **** could be identified and resolved. This request has gone unanswered. The issue persists with no resolution or communication with me from the company. 2. Also, I do believe that my water **** is too high. I don't think anyone even comes to check my meter. I am a single person who lives in a 3 bed 2 bath double. I am not sure about this because I have never had to pay a water **** before, but $80/month is excessive costs for one person. I pay similar costs as my grandmother who lives in a similar sized home with three other people. 3. I consistently get bills that do not account for previous payments. My bills I receive are not accurate. I have called twice to request accuracy in the bills I receive. Again, I received a **** that does not accurately reflect balance due. I do not believe it is too much to ask for the company to provide customers with accurate bills. This request has also gone unanswered. 4. I do not have online access to my account with the company. I have called twice regarding this matter. I was informed by the customer service representative that I would receive a call back. It has been months since my last call in March 2022. I have yet to have this issue resolved. I have a problem with the lack of response and ineffective communication that seems to be the standard operations of this company.
