  state roofing llc damaged my house severely this 2022 year i never had any leaks, my kids wanted me to get new roof, they helped me financially, as i live on disability, 72 year old i am, this man name ********************* from state roofing llc came to my house gave card told me they are the best in flat roof and shingle roof, he made me believe he was best flat roofer. **** sub**ntracted the job and left for vacation, he lied to me many things. he did not install drip edge as promised, damaged my gutters. they did not install my shingle roof ac**rding to **de, no flashgaurd, water **ming all over, toppling over gutters ,out side walls windows when it rains, flat roof they did such a poor job, my inside whole house is leaking badly, out side water toppling down He came to check the roof, did nothing, the house is leaking badly, he came by again, he told me to hire leak detector ** gave me their # he refuse to fix , i called him several times, he never came until Dec 14th rained heavy, leaked badly, **** painted flat roof, Dec 15 , it did not stop the leak, he refused to fix the leak did not **me back , i started calling other roofers to fix my leak, all roofers told me poor installation, the flat roof needs be redo **mpletely,he came after christmas, after he spoke to roofer who i called to inspect i , as state roofer llc refuse to fix the leak. today January 3rd 2023, i am going through this leak close to 7 weeks, i cant drive, hard to walk, i live on disability, , he took advantage of me i am 72 years , cannot speak good English, he took $50k thousand dollars please help me , tell me what i can do, inside my house is water every time it rains, on Jan 4th state roofing **** bring a new roofer, to fix leak , he is only fixing some part of roof, other parts are also leaking, too much water sitting on the roof, i do not have money to hire a lawyer, please help what i can do

  Unfortunately, the homeowner has been uncooperative in trying to resolve their water intrusion issues. After State Roofing replaced the flat roof the homeowner notice a leak that was not related to the new roof. On numerous occasions we performed attic inspections, moisture and leak tests on the roof and the adjoining walls. We have exhausted all avenues that it's the roof that's causing the intrusion. We know for a fact the walls are leaking based on our inspections and moisture readings and shared our results with the homeowner.

  The various test results indicated the leak was coming from the walls, not the new roof. We encouraged the homeowner to hire an independent engineer to perform moisture and leaks tests to confirm our findings. We have also provided the homeowner the contact information for a highly regarded engineer who specializes in diagnosing water intrusion issues. To my knowledge, the homeowner has not hired an independent engineer to confirm our findings even after we have requested her to do so. State Roofing will absolutely honor any warranties if it is proven we are at fault.
