      Contractor came out gave estimate then Dec 18,2024 had crew come tear my floors out an even the plastic moisture barrier underneath. Left then hasn’t came bout out to finish kept telling me he would have crew out to put barrier back until we had it tested because I wanted it tested he wanted to keep all the wet stuff under there an just put new wood to it an go with it. I have attached all the text an pics for you to read yourself. I want to warn everyone about this man he had did me an my family wrong. I’ve tried an tried to him to make it right but he just won’t. So they only thing I know to do is get attorney an to let y’all know. I haven’t got attorney yet lets see what happens with yall. My insurance company has paid them 2100 I think so far but all together it was 7000 an something. An the contract forest sent me a message saying I owe him 644 lol.

      This job has been on hold since Decemeber 18th, 2024. Effort of constant communication with the customer has been made throughout the process. We have decided not to finish the job due to customer complaints for things outside of our control, such as their insurance, *******, ect. The customer was politely suggested to find a contractor whom they would feel more comfortable using for their insurance claim. We will not work for a person who will undermine our integrity as well as our safety. The amount the insurance company has given Meek Ivy Construction, LLC was used towards the job. To satisfy the customer's balance with us, ******* and ***** ******** invoice amount will be $617.44 in addition to the $750.00 that was paid to ******* so that they could test the areas of concern for mold that happen to be present under the water within the home. Work that has been completed: Demo, purchase of materials to complete the job which are at the customer's home, & the areas of non-concern to be sealed off leaving the areas of concern open with instruction to the customer as they should leave the laundry room door closed to the area of concern until proper remediation took place. Details of test can be provided upon request.
