I signed a contract with Mastercraft Builders in early January 2021 for an add-on room to be built. This add-on is about 600 sq. ft. The estimated completion date given in the contract was June 1st, 2021. We paid roughly $35,000 as per our contract to the company. During construction, there were many errors made that we just dealt with and moved on. The project didn't come to be mostly finished until August 2021. However, there still remains a punch-list of items which have never been completed. I have notified the owner on many occasions and given a list to multiple different workers, but the list still remains incomplete. More pressing, however, is that we have a leak in the wall every time it rains. I noticed this leak mid-December 2021 and promptly informed the owner of Mastercraft Builders. The contract has a guarantee of work statement. Every communication I send goes unanswered until about the 4th time. Then, he will answer with an excuse. But, there has been no resolution. In late March 2022, the owner finally came out to look and took pictures of the roof. He said he would send someone. Since then, they continue to give me the run-around and excuses. I have tried for months to handle this without turning to an outside source for help. However, they do not communicate timely and continue to make excuses. Meanwhile, everytime it rains damage is being done. Please help me get these issues resolved.
