I needed to change my name on my account. I spoke with 2 people about it and they told me all you need is 1 ID. I filled out the form and it said you needed a guarantor signature. I did not know what that was so I called, and the representative told me I needed to go to the bank. I did not have time to go to a bank but had to carve out time since I needed the name change done asap. The representative told me to walk into any bank. I called the bank closest to were I had to be that morning and they told me I needed an account at that bank in order to obtain the signature. So I had to drive to the bank with whom i do business with to obtain the signature. I had to wait around and wasted 90 minutes of valuable time. If the original representative told me I needed the signature I would have planned accordingly. Not only was there misinformation provided, but there was vital info left out. It caused a huge headache which was unnecessary

On 12/27/2022 I requested the rollover of my funds into my 401k account. The required forms were filled out, my previous account was terminated and the check was sent to Fidelity with a date: 01/19/2023. I first called Fidelity on 02/01 and since then, I have been in contact with customer service, called numerous times. 1st call I was told to initiate a rollover using their App, following his instructions. He confirmed and verified, the check receipt and the amount. He assured I should be seeing my funds rolled in in few days. 2nd call on 02/03 no problems were identified my funds will be rolled into my account early next week I was told. 3rd call on 02/09 and fourth on 02/10: the agent verified my check again but the instructions for the rollover were missing per Fidelity, this caused the delay, although this was completed on 02/03. The agent guided me throughout the whole process, repeated the entire application and she confirmed the application was successful. Only a photo of the check was missing, which I was not able to provide, due to the check being with Fidelity and each agent, verified its receipt on 01/30. All was completed while on the phone with the rep confirming the receipt of the application. On 02/14 ******* stated I did not provide Fidelity with clear instructions, roll in cant be processed. A rude supervisor stated: their policy does not allow them to process the check since it was sent directly to Fidelity (not a common practice) without required paperwork and following their internal procedures they had to send the check back to me on 02/08. She gave me false info about the check. A letter received on 02/17 clearly shows postage with 02/14, therefore the check must have been with Fidelity. 6-7 calls, wasting hours on the phone a simple roll in cannot be solved. Terrible company! The whole process is failing them and customers too. The possible gain/return of this un-invested amount over a month is a pure loss due to their incompetency.

First I had my 401K at Fidelity and then when my company got bought out it was transferred unknowingly to another firm. Without any knowledge of this on my part. Now after a month and a half of trying to move it back I just keep making 2 hour long phone calls on my days off to no avail. Moneys still not transferred and every call ends with please call the other company.

It's very telling how when you search for Fidelity reviews and all of the companies (probably paid off) that do reviews rate them very high but when you come to a place where the customers review them they rate very low...I moved my *** from Vanguard because their customer service and web interaction was as bad as it gets. Now, I'm not sure that I've made the right choice.Fidelities web interaction is fantastic compared to Vanguard but their customer service is just as bad. It seems that good customer service is a thing of the past. This morning I went on-line with Fidelity and started a chat with a simple question about my ***. I was told that ***'s aren't' dealt with in chat so I'd need to call. Two hours later and after being passed from person to person I ended up in some random voice mail box...I'm giving them one star to offset the five star ratings that they clearly paid for!

I was able to open an account with Fidelity, then I bought shares on GEO but they did not take my money from the bank. When I asked them why they did not take my money they did not give me a reason why. They told me do do business somewhere else. I asked a supervisor how do you think I feel that you dont want to take my investment money? He said: that is not was is important here, what is important is that we dont want to do business with you. I have been running a very reputable 5 stars rating company for 34 ************* is no a thing wrong with my business He told me that even my lawyer would help. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE REASON WHY THEy DECLINED TO DO BUSINESS WITH ME.

on 12/20/2022 I found out that Fidelity Investments decided to take it upon themselves to close my account. Now I had been a customer of ********************** since 2017. I only found out as I was expecting deposits from my workplace e (payroll deposits) to go into the account. When I saw that the payments did not go through to my account as expected I was taken back. Once I called fidelity this is when was informed that the account was closed. When I inquired to why fidelity closed my account, they were unable to provide a specific reason This action taken by fidelity caused me undo emotional distress and harm as I was left unable to pay my bills including my rent and am left scrambling to find other means to obtain the money that was due to me (that I was expecting) but that was declined by my bank due to Fidelity deciding to close my account. It is not good practice as Fidelity should not be allowed to close a customer's account without as this i turn causes harm to the customer. I would like this practice by ********************** to be looked into.***************************

New employee in Halliburton..savings just kicked in for the remaining 10 days of the year and Fidelity investment took it upon them to take the equal amount of a 1 year biweekly withdrawal of **** dollars..talk about greedy corporations..to top it off its savings which means they have the money but do not want to return it..that to me is called Theft
