This company brags about its 24 hour compliance line which is a joke. I filed a very serious complaint and was told it was assigned to a particular person. I got an email from this person telling me she was going to call me with questions. That is last heard from her. I have sent 4 emails to her asking about status of complaint. Not a single response three months later. I called compliance line and they stated she was only one that could help me. This is a joke like the rest of the company.

Sevita is doing something for mental health behavior and Artistic consumer/Clients but they don't send them for counselor or help teacher sign language to the ones that can't talk they let them just attack staff without any repercussions some consumer are dangerous they attack staff. Management doesn't help once consumer attacks they don't come out to the house when it happens. Some consumers don't belong in house with others there should be some kind of way to put something on consumer who scratch claw and try to attack you in the worst way it is very scary. But the ideal of the Sevita is great but some managers are not manager material some are too young and not knowledgeable enough to do the Right thing like have some where for consumer to go gym do exercise something to work out their frustration instead of taking out on DSP staff. These consumer are very smart they sometimes use their behaviors as and excuse to attack because they know nothing going to happen to them. One told me that's part of his behavior and nothing going to happen to him but you on other hand getting short end. I work hard at job and I try to cook try to help play game board games with them conversation with them treat like a real person but some seem to have no home training and are mean for no reason. I thought they were like my brother whom is mentally challenged. But Sevita Consumers have no respect some of them not all. Use and Abuse. And the Workers compensation is great for medical treatment but getting paid for days off from injury they don't care much and this is something they know that consumer does you have to run for your life when behavior starts on some consumer need to be reevaluate for a different setting some need different type of staff especially if same person keeps attacking and bringing real harm to staff members. Get consumer helmet and gloves for those hands. Because his attacks hurt......

Theres no option for Zero Stars or thats what Id give!! This Company is A Joke! For DSP Appreciation you get a card for the whole staff with a store bought donut, Managers and higher *** are very irresponsible, they make fun of the people with Disabilities, The Stealing, the mold in the homes, not supplying the appropriate supplies for the job, careless staff that leave messes for us staff that bust our butts and actually go above and beyond!! When you reach out to the PSs, PDs and people higher up and no one does anything about serious concerns, med errors, wrong meds givin to wrong people, meds found all over the floor, Physical Harm, ohh and not to mention the MOLD growing in theses walls that is now coming out of the walls, the sinks falling in, all this stuff reported and nothing done!! This is a **************************** and it shows that those Billions mean more to them then the clients that are paying all there wages!!! What do you have to do to get something done???? Nothing because NO ONE CARES!!!! They also wouldnt care if staff were on there de*** beds as long as they work there shifts!! They fail to realize that we have lives outside of this job and it does not matter to them, for Bonuss!!! There non existent! And when we did get a bonus we got less then half of our bonus because they took out soo many taxes on it and got less then half that bonus when we are the ones working and busting our b*tts for them and these people get more than we do! When you get a bonus you should get it all!! We are unpaid and very invaluable to this Company and it shows!!! O should have received a phone call from corporate well over two weeks ago to address serious concerns and NOTHING!!! I could go on and on and on, but this is not a career building opportunity!!!!

If you are applying for employment with Savita within the ***** and ******** area, I encourage you to stay away from ***********************, who is one of the program directors. I worked under her as a DSP and then a lead position. She will be all good in your face, and once you tell her no or you cant do something then she will be out to get you. She has shown poor professionalism, Talks down or disrespectful to people, but will write you up if you do it to her. On several occasions, she has shown discrimination against multiple employees. She will fire you or demote you for the littlest things. She loves to throw the rock but hide her hand. She will barely allow you to speak your case before she has her mind made up. Again, please try to stay away from the ******** facilities

************* I have ever worked for with clients with disabilities. They do not care if you are being beaten on they will work you every single day to the bone 12 to 14 hours a day when you ask for a day off, they wont give it to you when you tell them that you need Time Off they will tell you they have to hire two people to work your schedule they had daily pay you had to beg for your pay they would straight up. Tell you they didnt give a s*** if you had to pay bills or not if they didnt feel like paying you for the day they werent going to when you leave the company they will put you down as unexplained absences for weeks at a time you have to fight for your PTO hours to get paid to you no one comes and checks on you. I worked there for six months straight and only got four days off and thats because I called in to get those days off. I explained to them multiple times. I had children at home that I needed to be with they didnt care, I have multiple text messages of them telling me that they dont get paid to pay me my hours unless theyre on the clock so they dont care if Im gonna lose my home or not when I have to pay my bills thats not their problem. They are located in ****************. They have several locations. They are combined with mentor network and bridges outside of **********, *******. I do not recommend anyone working for this company whatsoever. They will rob you of your money if you called them about concern they get mad at you for bothering them after 4 oclock, even if youre on the clock with a client Because theyre not on the clock anymore ************* in the world. I feel sorry for any client with disabilities who cant call their families and complain about being in this company because theyre not capable of verbally calling someone and doing that and you cant call and tell them anything because then youd be punished. Its absolutely terrible and they dont pay you for gas mileage and they have you run a lot in your car.

Honestly at first when this particular part of the company opened up I loved it, but everything was fine until I had an accommodation. Long story short I've experienced work place harassment, discrimination, out right disrespect from management, theres been so much retaliation, on top of the fact that this crude behavior only started when I gave them my accommodation. After that it was a specific accommodation requirement they said they needed, so I got it for them like they asked, they told me it was so I could keep my job, I will never forgot how they have treated me while needing an accommodation and working, they have made coming to the clinic where you are supposed to be giving therapy to clients a miserable place to be in turn making my pregnancy miserable for these past months, The clients are not receiving proper therapy due to the work environment as it has stressed the clients out. Management plays intentional games with the employees that affect their clients in a negative way. There is no communication. HIPPA is broken on a daily basis as managements significant others have been there all day and know clients by name and they actively see therapy sessions happen, Dual relationships have been formed and have made certain people have positions that come with raises and it makes favoritism sky high! I would never feel comfortable bringing my child or family here for therapy. As I really tried to do the right thing at this job *** received nothing but backlash. HR DID NOT HELP ME. Compliance did.

This company is so unorganized and inefficient. They bought out a smaller company, DNS, in ***** and they have dropped the ball so many times since all they care about was winning the contract but are performing subpar. The do not care about the handicapped people that they are supposed to service since they failure to do their job is hurting them. For example, our annual meeting was done 2-3 weeks prior to the deadline and the Sevita employee submitted it 5/13/24 and it was due 5/14/24 so that the services could continue 5/15/24 but since they don't care she send it to some contractor and did not follow up. The authorization ran out and my Down's Syndrome's daughter's helper is not going to be paid because of their incompetence! He is a great assistant, and he is not happy and he could quit but Sevita does not care. If we lose him, how am I going to find somebody like him that cares about my daughter and that she is comfortable with. Sevita does not care about the people they are paid to take care of. I would not recommend them to take care of a dog much less a disabled human being! If I could give them zero stars I would!

One of the worst companies in this field, I wouldn't recommend anyone who cares about others and themselves to work here. I've work for two different locations and in different states and it has been the same. Horrible communication if any, late pay, management retaliation, employee and client abuse of funds and person. I usually don't write reviews however I felt I needed to, this company deserves no stars.

The higher *** in the company are very obnoxious and are a bunch whom are there to belittle clients and don't appreciate employees and don't pay enought for what they have to do. Now I'm a client who lives in one of there homes. Quiet frankly don't have the patience anymore too deal with some of the staff or individuals whom live in the home! In my state they hire mainly people who are from Africa, ******* to be exact they don't have a clue about the food we are supposed to eat for meals. Also, quiet disrespectful to some of my housemates and play favorites. Now, I'm not saying there are not nice staff because there are some nice respectful staff but the majority are not. Mostly the people whom have been in the States are nice.

Total lack of regard for their workers and indifferent to needs of both clients and the people who take care of the clients . When CA Mentor had the company we had DSP's {direct support staff for each client}. This gives some relief for the mentors who have clients who live in the mentor's home. Sevita pays DSP's minimum wage and so no one will work for that salary , esp in CA. Sevita has made no effort to remedy this problem. In addition mentors get only one day off per month no matter the tier level of the client . With CA Mentor higher tier levels got two days off a month and could accumulate days for six months and then take a week off. It's extremely important to have time off when doing this important work . Sevita's poor management and lack of regard for the people who do this work puts them in a zero level of quality and professionalism .
