I ordered 5 pizzas from Crispy Dough on Wednesday, August 24. We called the store to order and went to pick up the pizzas because we were told they no longer deliver. When I looked at the receipt, I noticed the amount charged to my card was higher than the order total - an additional $16.67 was added without my consent. I called the store to speak with the manager, *****, who told me I don't understand how ordering works. He gave me his cell phone number and I sent him a photo of the receipt. He called me back and spent the next 11 minutes shouting at me about how I was charged by a third party, not his store, this isn't his receipt, and the charge is correct. I chose not to continue the call at that point and hung up. On a previous occasion, a coworker's card was charged an additional $20 by the same pizza shop without her consent.

It's easy and simple as I told the lady you order through slice the company online they have different prices !also you paid them you did not pay me when you came to the store you grab your pizza and left!you did not give me ur card at the store!!and you know the prices are different online !
if you call the store and you give me your order to one my guys and AFTER 20mints you come to pick them up then I have to take your card right there in front of you and swipe it and then you have to sign and you take your pizza and you go !
and the price would be different but you did it online that's why you have a receipt from slice not from me you paid slice not me you give them your information online not me
that's what I try to tell the lady ********* SHE said I think you don't know how is online ordering w
ork! I was surprised when she said that because I told her the same I think you don't know how this works! we have nothing to do with online ordering the only thing we do is make the food you come to the store with your name we compare it to the receipt that we have here in the Machine when we give you the ********** this all the time with Uber eats driver with door dash driver with the GrubHub driver with a slice driver you show us the name will give them the food we get paid after 10 to 14 days it's that easy and simple !
and also **** she did not order it was the lady next to her but **** who is the one who was talking to me because because I explain to her and she said hold on I'll give you the lady who came to the store and I spoke to her and I told her the same and they start to fight with me and wasting my time and I said listen I can refund you the difference or you can refund you the whole order it's not bad money I want you to understand how this works if you want or you ha

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. I am unable to follow the logic in that response. I have a printed receipt with the prices of each item. There was no delivery charge because we picked up the order in person and we did not add a tip. The amount paid should have been (as shown on the receipt we received when we picked up the pizza, image submitted) $113.47. Instead the total reflected on the receipt was $130.14. *In addition* the amount actually charged to my credit card was even higher than the total on the receipt: $135.09 - a full $21.62 more than the cost of my order. (Screenshot attached) This extra amount was charged to my credit card without my authorization or consent. I am due a refund of $21.62, and I am requesting an investigation into this company's fraudulent business practices. I am also contacting my bank to take further action for the unauthorized charge to my account.

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

    Hi this is *************************;
    crispydough Pizzeria
    1514 ************************************************** to complaint number 17793433
I see here Miss **** trying to request investigation to the company fraudulent business practice also she like to take an action for unauthorized charge to her account!
That is the main point if she does this complain it will never come to my company!because the company who overcharged her is slice company online ordering !this will be so their side not my side because I never took her card information I never charged her at the store and as I mentioned before she never  did order from us Direct
(She order delivery from slice the company but she called us to pick up pizzas in short time because delivery will take 45 minutes pick up will be 15 to 20 minutes !
She rather to come to the store and take her order so already sliced company charge for delivery charge prices online is different than the store and also she add tip for the driver but when she decide to com
e and take it by herself so the company did charge same amount because it was her request !!
IF she has any issue with that she need to reach out to slice company the one she give her a card information too
when it comes to money for me I am willing to pay the The full amount for her order but not to call my company is a fraud or we've been doing this !because I am in this business over 10 years I never had issue like this the !!only issue is the company who overcharged her which is slice online ordering)) although in my opinion they did not charge her over because she requested delivery and she changed it to pick up
and whatever you want me to do I am willing because I have no time for a headache like this I'm willing to pay the money but you cannot call as a fraud company for unauthorized charge to her account
    Best regards
