I attempted to have my automobile ?? serviced, @ APX Fix Car in ************, @ the Shell Gas Station on ***************** had a duplicate speed censor code (Permanent) and needed to replace them (2). I purchased 2 speed out put censors, and APX agreed to replace the old ones and install the new ones; on the date of 04/17/23. On the day of 04/19/23 - I was told that my vehicle was fixed and ready for pickup. During that time, there was some negotiations revolving around the time that it would take to fix my vehicle: the mechanics that were to work on my vehicle were misinformed on the time that it would take to fix the issue, to which they were properly addressed, and my original price, also was increased. (Subsequently I agreed). However, on the day of the incident, once I had reached the gas station to picked up my vehicle, i was lied to before picking up my vehicle and drove it., subsequently after driving my vehicle, it very well seemed like the problem wasn't resolved. So I went back to the gas station, and informed the mechanic of the issue, and was informed that it would take **************************************************************** feeling some what suspicious, after driving my vehicle for 2 days and experiencing the same issue, decided to go to another mechanic and see if the same issue was present, and another diagnostic test was preformed and it was discovered that the same codes that were originally said to be fixed and gone were still present, so the problem, had never been fixed!! So i was scammed out of my money from this gas station, thus, my problem was never fixed!!! Thus, this is fraud......

    Hello,

We agree to everything the client is saying above. But, the client did provide the parts for repair and we installed them for her. If her light came back on that would mean the car had additional issues. In regards for the car being done in a timely manner. The car got done end of the day. Sometimes things take a little bit longer pr the shop has difficulties in the workspace.  So Rather then her assuming we are committing fraud. She should have came back tot the repair shop and did further diagnostic. I understand she went to another shop for the additional diagnostics  that does not give her credit to assume fraud especially since we installed the parts that she provided .

Long story short. We replaced the parts she provided and stated everything on the invoice.

[1. I brought my car in to be serviced for 2 permanent speed output sensors.

    2. I brought 2 speed output sensors to the macanic, to be replaced by the old ones

    3. I was told that it would take 7 hours to fix, which I corrected said macanic on what he needed to do to eliminate such a short process, and my original price had increased

    4. I was informed that my car was fixed and ready for pickup, and free of the 2 permenant codes, that i brought my car in to be originally serviced for; not withstanding the macanic lying about me bringing in only one sensor to be changed, however, I produced a receipt to prove that was a lie

    5. When i discovered that my car was not driving better, i brought the car back to the same macanic and was informed that it would take awhile for the car to recalibrate.

    6. Feeling uncomfortable i went to another shop, who reset my car & performed a new diagnostic test, and the original codes that i went to magazine shell to have serviced, were still present, showing that the sensors that i paid for to be fixed, never got replaced, thereby proving fraud on behalf of Magazine Shell.

    The End!!
