    On October 12, 2024 I reached out to *************, which is being operated by MobileSphere, LLC. I reached at to ************* and asked, Can I port a toll free number in, that I own?I then received a reply back from customer support (customer service agent ***** *** wrote back on October 12 in response and said, Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, you can port in a number that you own. To initiate the process, please fill out the form located at **************************************. Once completed, we will start the process of porting your toll-free number to your SlyNumber account.**** very clearly **** words of Yes, you can port in a number that you own couples with her words of Once completed, we will start the process of porting your toll-free numberI then sign up for an account with ************* on October 12 for $8.99.I then write back asking how to go about porting my toll-free number.**** responded back on the same day, October 12, and said, Toll free numbers cannot be ported.This is a case of bait-and-switch!

    Sorry for the confusion. the initial response was incorrect since we did not notice it was a toll free number. It is technically impossible to port a toll free number to our platform. toll free numbers can be call forwarded to other regular numbers.

    We have corrected the initial mistake by replying to the customer and informing them that toll free numbers cannot be ported. It is a technical limitation of toll free numbers.

    Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

    The business realizes their error, as well as their representative giving incorrect and misleading information!  It is good to recognize where you s**** up.  Own up to your mistake!  NOW ISSUE ME A REFUND!!!!

    We have refunded the customer's card and closed his subscription. The customer did not clearly state that he wanted a refund. He only requested porting a toll free number which is technically impossible.
