      Diamonds *** lost or stole my $4,000 ring!! I packaged my wedding set (TWO rings--an engagement ring & a wedding band) exactly as their instructions explained. I dropped off the ***** envelope at a ***** Center on 03/16 & the tracking# showed it was delivered on 03/17. Diamonds *** sent a low ball offer on 03/21, which I rejected & requested my rings back. I received the package from ***** with only ONE ringthe wedding band. I told Diamonds *** on 03/23. They said theyd look into it but didnt provide me any update until 04/03 (despite me repeatedly asking for updates). They sent me a 1-minute video on 04/03, showing someone opening an envelope & pulling out a bag with 1 ring in it. But they dont show the contents in the other envelopes. I have no way of knowing what happened from the time I left the envelope with ***** to the time the video was recorded. Diamonds *** hasn't been helpful in having this time period investigated further. I have no proof that the ring wasnt in one of the other envelopes, which werent shown on the video any further. For all I know, the envelope was switched out by ***** or Diamonds ***. But it was definitely lost or stolen. They were dismissive when I kept asking about my missing ring. I sent them TWO rings in the same envelope. I asked them to file a claim, since the rings are supposedly insured during transport. They initially refused but finally emailed me the claim form. The claim was supposedly filed with both CJ Environmental & *****. I emailed them the claim ******************** on 04/05. I continued to check-in with them, as they again did not provide any updates. They finally told me on 05/02 that the claim was denied. They sent me a denial letter from CJ Environmental but I havent seen any documentation from ***** showing that a claim was ever filed. I cant file a claim with ***** as they only accept claims from the company. DON'T TRUST THEM! If you want to try selling your ring, do it in person!

      As a refinery our evaluations are based on the spot price on the day the materials are received and the wholesale value of diamonds. I do apologize that you were unsatisfied with your offer. Once the offer was rejected, we had returned all materials that were sent in to **. When you reached out to ** regarding the returned shipment, we reviewed the footage, and found that everything was returned back to you. We sent you a claim form per your request but informed you that we would be submitting all of the information we have, along  with what you provided to **. Our insurance company has denied the claim. And as ***** shows there was no damage to the shipment they are not taking liability.

      I in attempting to sell my wedding ring, set to cash for gold got it shipped to the sister company evidently and was never notified that they received. It was not notified of anything whatsoever. When I finally track down the CJ environmental company, which is very frustrating as their sister company did not mention the affiliation when I called them and with my confusion, which I found odd, the lady on the phone told me that yes, they had received it, and apparently had the wrong phone number for me and no email address which is not possible And thats why they didnt contact me. I would like to state that this is an appraised ring at $****** roughly and they didnt bother to even reach out to me to let me know they had received or who had received it or what company had received it. That said the lady on the phone said that they would offer me $5000 for a $****** ring and they have the appraisal. It is a total of **** carats and their offer was $5000. I requested that they ship the ring back to me immediately, and I did not intend to even send it to them And they agreed this was Friday afternoon. It is now Monday afternoon and apparently the owner of the company is who I was speaking to you although he would not respond with his name via email nor does email address have any information on it whatsoever, I spoke to him on the phone, wondering where my tracking number was making sure the insurance was appropriate, etc. he was very unprofessional. He called asking in array of questions that did not make sense as I told him I was not interested in selling the ring he said well I just wanna know how we were so far off on the quote because I can buy diamonds like that for $10,000. No problem Which is a joke as well and I demanded that he send the ring back he said he wouldnt be able to insure it for ****** it based on just my word that he doesnt think its worth that amount of money so I sent him the appraisal and he conceded however, he has still not shipped it.

      We do apologize for the confusion with our company. When shipping we use our parent company on our labels. This is for security purposes, as we do not want the envelope to say gold, diamonds etc. As you selected text message updates when you signed up, and we did not have your correct number, texts were being sent to the number that we did have on file. This is why you would not have received aunty notifications. As a refinery, we appraise diamonds based on the wholesale market. The retail price you paid or has no bearing on the actual value of your stones. Jewelers and appraisers typically mark up merchandise, as in any retail store. Your materials have gone to the returns department and as we are not here over the weekends you will be getting your tracking number (insured) shortly!

      Sent them ***** grams of marked 12k 1/20th gold filled watch bands in safepack #******* on 2/14/2023. Never heard from them after the ship confirmation email. Called and they offered me a ridiculously low figure for my scrap. I requested a return. What I received back was not what I had sent to them. They returned ***** grams of what look to be like just plated bands no marks as all the ones I sent were marked 10k 1/20th gold filled. This company is shady and all I want is my bands back not the worthless ones I received from them. I lost 150 bucks I paid for these and this company offered no resolution. I have tried to call them and left several messages with no return call to address this issue.

      As filled and plated materials are something that we do not accept we did make a courtesy offer based on the gold we would be able to extract from the materials. When the offer was declined we returned all materials that were sent in to us by you. We are a 24/7 monitored facility and have video surveillance of what you sent in and what was sent back out. We are also showing that we have responded to each of your emails as well, sending you the proof of delivery sheet multiple times.

      There website states that they offer you to receive your payment for your precious metals you are selling then as soon as they receive the package which is overnighter. I recently did one transaction with this company a week prior to this one I'm having a problem with. The first one went very smooth. However this one was a joke. They state you will receive payment within minutes of them getting the acceptance from you if you are good with their offer. Well I have accepted the offer on Friday and still have not seen the paypal payment they state that it's payypals problem. I have called this companies financial department which is a joke and very unprofessional with dogs and people yelling in the background. They lied to me and said they contacted paypal and I will just have to wait for the funds or they can just issue me a check. But then they have to cancel and write the check. I tried to escalate this to the manager and I was told I was speaking with the manager and the only one that was ever there. They still have not released the funds. They said after delivery is confirmed. Let me remind you that this company received the package way before you even get to accept the offer. They receive it then they send you the offer. Which I have asked what was the weight and what metals they found since the first order I sent in was about 1/10th of the piece I sent in second. The first time I received 54 dollars very quickly as promised. But then I sent in another piece that was the same exact piece of metal and a he'll of a lot more... this thing was very heavy and they offered me ****** I asked for a print out of what they were purchasing from me and I have yet to get anything. Still from the first one I haven't got anything. This company is a joke and they are not loyal to what they have on the website. We send it in thinking we will get paid and here I am still calling paypal every day to try and get my funds released. They said it's my paypal acount.but right after this

      We apologize that you are not happy with our payment method through PayPal. PayPal controls whos payments they hold and we have no way of confirming anything on our end. Our accounting department did reach out to PayPal as we promised you, and PayPal informed us that the hold is on their end and there is nothing for us to confirm.

As you sent the materials under our sister company cashfordiamondsusa there was a delay in processing, as it was not sent to the proper department. We have since returned your items and they are in transit to you.

      I saw an ad online for Cash 4 Gold *** who is owned by CJ Environmental **** that you can mail them your jewelry and they will appraise it and make an offer 24 hours after receiving the items. I securely packaged and over-nighted my diamond rings by ***** on October 11, 2022. The packages was delivered by ***** on October 12, 2022. I have the tracking number and confirmation from *****. I then received an email message from Cash 4 Gold stating : "Your shipment has arrived and our technicians are busy working on your appraisal! Please allow us one business day." I called almost every day for the next week getting excuse after excuse and finally was told on about October 20, 2022 that they never received the shipment. They were going to contact their ***** rep and they would keep me updated. They sent me a customer claim intake form that they were going to forward to their insurance company along with the other documents I provided including the original appraisal on the engagement ring as well as an updated appraisal as the rings were originally purchased in **** and their value has significantly increased since then. I received an email once again telling me that the process would take 30 days for the claim to be finalized. It has been 30 days since I submitted the claim on November 1, 2022. Once again during this past month I have not heard one word from the company regarding my claim. I called this morning and they stated that the process takes 30 - 60 days and they would keep me updated. I have been getting the run around since they stole my possessions. I called the police department today in ********** where CJ Environmental is located and they told me I had to file the claim with my local police department first and then they would reach out to the ************** I am just looking to get reimbursed on the value of my items. I do not believe at this time that they are ever going to make good on the claim.

      I submitted a wedding set **** *******) since I was giving the set to my sister and wanted appraisal value. I have the purchase receipt/certificate of ownership and photos of myself wearing the item. They offered me $100. I declined immediately. They began asking if I'd had it appraised to which I simply said I wanted the item returned. They texted they had to make a profit too and asked what I'd accept and I said $1,000 - but I really just wanted my item returned. They responded they'd be in touch with shipping info. Two weeks later and nothing. I called, left a VM with my package number ... no callback. I emailed them asking where my item is and I received an email saying I need to prove the set is mine. They sent an insurance claim form asking for a purchase receipt, photos, and for me to fill out a claim form that literally states it is wholly up to them what to pay me for my jewelry if I am unable to provide the photos and receipt. I emailed back proof and declined filling out the form as the signed-over power was totally inappropriate and demanded multiple times what happened to my wedding set. To this day, not a single response as to what happened to my set. I also asked for a contact name - you will notice they never have names on the emails. I received an email from them saying their insurance is awarding me $500.00 - with ZERO explanation as to what happened to my jewelry while in their care. I demanded a return of my stolen jewelry and they have not responded. They are hiding behind insurance claims and bureaucratic runarounds rather than returning my jewelry or paying the full price evidenced by my receipt I provided them. I work full time in insurance and the obvious way to do the right thing is called a write-off. I continue to demand the return of my stolen items. If this is impossible - a detailed explanation as to what happened and full compensation of the amount on the purchase receipt.

      You have not provided me with an answer as to where my jewelry is. Why did it vanish after I declined your offer and asked for it to be returned? If you lost or scrapped my jewelry against my wishes the burden is on your business to recoup these losses after paying me for the full value of what I paid as shown on the receipt. Your final offer in the form of an insurance payment of $500 is clearly not what is shown on the receipt. I did not lose my jewelry - you did. You should have insurance as a business to protect yourself against employee mishandling. If you do not, that is your error and not your clients. This issue is not resolved and your response is totally unacceptable.

      The reimbursement you continually reword is totally ridiculous. Reimbursing the materials? If you destroyed my item you don't get to offer me the remnants. Not once in any communication with any of the unnamed associates has there been any acknowledgement/remorse for what has happened. I am not responsible for filling out a "claims form" that is at the discretion of the claims department within your company. The form, attached, has a statement at the end that reads "It is CJ Environmental Inc.s (CJE) strict policy to thoroughly investigate claims." It's a brazen statement given it shouldn't take much investigating to see that there was never a shipping confirmation relayed, and based off of the email response, also attached, they also sent in photos of the missing items. Also, I would need to attach other documents?? The claims form is a thinly veiled contract that intends to force the responsibility on the consumer when the business fails to comply with their wishes.  Clearly, your company is at fault and I am in no way attempting to file any insurance claim with CJ Environmental's insurance - when it is CJ Environmental who is at fault. You have failed to resolve this issue. I am filing a claim under my own jewelry coverage policy and moving forward with other parties in this.

      I sent 60 ounces of silver coins 2 10 ounce bars of silver and a class ring to be sold. We did not make a deal and I asked for my items to be returned and they were expected Sept 20 2022. I called and e mailed and it was days before they responded and the 28th before they said they will contact their fed ex person. They asked me to fill out an intake form the next day and send a copy of my ID because I guess it was stolen? I followed instructions and they said they are going to file a claim. fed ex already denied one of the claims. They said they used jeweler mutual so I even tried reaching out to them. estimate to replace the metal I sent them is $2500 and they just stop responding I believe they melted it and tried to mail back an empty box and dont want to pay replacement valve.

      I'm not satisfied with that response. It's been 8 weeks. I don't believe there is any reason for an insurance claim to take 8 weeks. Furthermore I'm unsatisfied because I had to file a claim with the bbb to get a response from this company.

      By my count there were 6 unanswered e mails since the 3rd of November. Also I left a review for cash for gold on the 15th of November it was deleted. And there are several e mails that were unanswered prior to the 3rd as well. I believe you are stealing from me. I would like to speak with your ***** contact and your contact at jeweler mutual.

      Me" How much do you pay for silver ? ".Cashforgoldusa.com, "Go to our silver calculator". My silver calculated at $2191.69, and they promised a 10% bonus. So i was expecting $2410. 85 .Actual offer $1043.00 . 50% spot price, or less, even with their 10% "BONUS". They gave me 75%. to keep me from totally flipping.In my case, I could have done much better locally. With cashforgoldusa.com price @ $21.10. My 54 oz. of silver bullion plus **** oz. of "*****" sterling , cashforgoldusa.com offered me $1043.00. I called and negotiated a price of $1839.41, which was still less than I could have sold it for locally.1 week in shipping, they received on Friday. Processed on Monday, payout via PayPal less 3%. I could not drag this out any longer. I have time constraints.This started November 10, 2022 and ended November 21, 2022 An honest advertising representation would be "go to our silver calculator, we pay about 40% of that."My local coin shop would have given me spot plus $2.50. In cash for my bullion. and at least 15$ an oz. for my sterling. I only used these folks because they led me to believe they would give me a higher price.

      In March of this year cash4gold or diamomd usa, sj environmental contacted me and said my package had arrived empty and taped shut. This was a big problem since my wife insisted on not using them and reassured her that why would a company insure your package if they weren't on the up and up? And the second problem being we are in a very hard time financially and literally losing everything little by little and this was just another kick in the nuts. So the employee asks me what was in the packages and if I had any pictures or types of documentation showing the gold and I sent it, In a email previous I told them that I was trying them out because the **** shops are crooks and want to make more money then the person who actually owns the gold. So in the message she referred to that asking me what the **** shops offer was. I was told they went through fed ex insurance waited for there investigation and after I was told that they would only insure it for 100$ mind you I sent over a ounce of gold to these people . During our emails the worker started being absmartass like "well because it arrived empty we have nothing to go off of," and that they were going to offer a upfront sum of 750$ and now they were going to involve the local authorities to escalate the situation to see if theft can be proven. Well technically it was already proven when u claimed my package was delivered opened empty and taped back up. Then even more so when you said fed ex only offered 100$ towards this claim. 750 $ up front sum would indicate that another would follow that it's just a beginning capital.. then I was told the police were investigating it and if they find it they will return it to me if I give back the 750$. That was in April, I contacted them in June to see what is going on with the case since it was being escalated by police and I still only had the upfront sum of 750$. They said there hadn't been any updates if they locate the material they will contact me. And that t

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.in fact this is been my problem they dont communicate with me at all. They say they received my package empty and said they were giving me a initial upfront sum or however they worded it then said they were involving local police to investigate . When I contacted for a follow up they said they would let me know if they find my goldnanand will return it if I return the 750. When I complained about it the employee said they understand I wanted retail value that they couldn't do that. Said they paid me melting/scrap value and they did not even come close. I feel they got the gold gave me oitty money and kept it. They advertise how they are insured well they lied. How can I taken legal action against these criminals lying an stealing from a unemployed mother and father of 5 it's bad enough we were barely getting by but when we sent them our last life line to sell so we could pay our Bill's they stole it dragged ot out now were homeless to boot.

      That really makes alot of sense. First i get a upfront payment of 750.then I get told I was payed the scrap value, then I get told off they find it they will let me know then I get ignored. Now all of a sudden when I'm bringing there games to the right now its fraudulent activity.. smh well what's the time frame on this investigation ? Or are yallnjust trying to drag it out past the date that I'm able to take legal action. S pathetic and desperate.

      Dear ****,

      Your *** arrived to our facility open and empty. We notified you right away and asked you to provide details of what you had sent in. We filed a claim on your behalf with both Fed Ex and our insurance provider.  Our insurance provider approved a payout of $750.00 to settle this claim and we notified you that should we recover your material we would return it to you in exchange for the claim payment. We do not have any new information that the contents have been recovered. In regards to the fraudulent activity, we were notified by our bank that the check was deposited initially and then it was attempted to be deposited 3 more times. We stand behind our service and process and have done everything outlined in our terms and conditions.
