  I am extremely disappointed with a recent communication with Yankee Home Improvements representative. I requested a quote to have MY tub replaced with a walk-in shower. A representative called me to ask some questions before sending someone to provide a quote.I (female) am the only homeowner. I paid 100% of the closing costs on MY home. The deed is only in MY name and the mortgage is 100% MINE and I pay it every month. The sexist (male) representative from Yankee Home Improvement refused to send someone out unless my fianc (male) was also in MY home at the time.I have a lot of respect for my fianc but he does not own MY home. He has ZERO interest or investment in MY home and I am paying 100% of the cost of the shower makeover. He is paying ZERO dollars towards the renovation. I am happy to finance this improvement to MY home.The chauvinistic representative from Yankee Home Improvement refused to send someone unless all "decision makers" were home at the time of the appointment. I am the ONLY "decision maker" as this is MY home. The mortgage is 100% in MY name and the deed at town **** is 100% in my ******* fianc was present during this call and was listening in. He confirmed for the representative that he has ZERO say in how the new shower is designed and he is contributing ZERO dollars to the project. He could not be home during the appointment time and he had no interest in being there for it.I've never been treated more unfairly in my life. I am 100% capable of owning my own home, obtaining my own mortgage and making my own decisions on the design of my home.I was astounded to discover this company was so misogynistic and incapable of believing that a woman could own her own home and make decisions about her own property. I'm disappointed and sad that this kind of bias still exists. Yankee Home Improvement should be ashamed of themselves.Only including 1 star as BBB requires it. Would rather give zero stars.

  Mike O from Yankee Home just came to our house and helped us pick out the perfect door. He spent nearly 2 hours explaining every step of the process.I'm actually very impressed with Mike O and Yankee Home and look forward to the installation.

  Just had a walk-in shower installed and tub taken out. The job done by  Pavel G and Rudy was excellent. They did a wonderful job and left the area extremely clean when they were done. Definitely would recommend

  Lucky find on our part, what with our conversation about age improving our house including the bathroom and the placement of the Yankee Home ad in the Brattleboro Reformer.Roberto and his coworker were organized, had the right tools and supplies on hand to complete the job with no extra waiting "for parts." and knew what they were doing, over all a pleasant surprise and experience with minimum disruption of our daily routine.We got what we wanted at the price we had agreed to.

  Our doors were 50 years old and let a lot of cold air inside. We met with Yankee Home and their salesman was wonderful! We replaced our entry door, two basement doors and came back for the removal and replacement of a garden window. The installers were so friendly, polite and professional. We are very happy with the work and highly recommend Yankee Home to anyone looking for windows and doors.

  Found Yankee at the Home Show last year. We replaced the front door and 3 basement windows. Yankee completed the project in one day, the installers from Pavel’s crew were friendly and approachable. They cleaned up after the job. They took care of all the old pieces, they even shoveled outside the window and patched that up too! Would highly recommend!

  Yankee did my walk in shower! I originally had a tub and needed an update and safer shower. It only took a day and a half, would highly recommend!

  Yankee did a fantastic job with my kitchen cabinets. The refacing was done swiftly, Mario Jr. & Mario Sr. were friendly and approachable. They installed it right before Christmas, which most companies do not do. I would highly recommend Yankee to anyone!

  Found Yankee in the newspaper. Before I had a tub and I wanted to be proactive for safety. My shower was done in two days, the workers were friendly and approachable. Roberto and Alex were great. The biggest difference is ease in and out. It is super safe!

  We found Yankee online. We previously had an original to the home tub. It was hard for my husband to get in and out. My shower was in one day. The installers were friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend!
