************* Danvers - Looked online for a car with low milage. Found 2 at a price we could afford. Test drove them, really liked both, then spent almost 3 hours at the dealership, only to find out that the online price was not true. Both cars were offered to us at over $4000 MORE then stated online. Total bait and switch. When pointed out, they said we didn't qualify, as "stated in the fine print". I then open the website and checked - the "fine print" stated that a vehicle 2009 or newer needed to be traded-in to get the *****************, which we were doing. After a lot of mumbling and "checking with the manager" we were still offered the higher price. Total waste of time! BS offers, too much time spent pushing financing (which we didn't need) and never a simple answer to questions. NO THANK YOUReview from Lee L

This is specifically for ********** Manchester NH (not bbb listed yet as it used to be Prime) my sales person was awesome but after arguing with them over nitrogen filled tires that they do before putting the cars on the lot and charge $299 for as soon as I drove my brand new crosstrek off the lot the tires were severely overinflated which is extremely dangerous. I had them correct the pressures and drove off the lot and still they were 5 lbs over, on top of that I don't think they were actually using the nitrogen as just driving a few miles the heat increased pressures a few more lbs, I complained and they quickly cut me a check for $299 which I appreciate even though it won't cover the added interest on the loan from the charge, they claim a machine does it, well it needs to be set to the correct pressures which clearly is a challenge to them, it wears tires out faster and could kill someone from having a blowout. Also for anyone who off roads we drop pressures for slow off roading and fill them back up for the highways. The nitro is nothing more than a slush fund scam that could KILL someone. Shame on you **** Doubt they even actually used nitrogen in the tires.Ira Motor Group Response

***,
Thank you for taking the time to speak with me this morning. I'm glad we got this taken care of and my team and I will take corrective action in making sure all tire PSI settings are correct.
Thanks again,

The sales team is amazing--no complaints--but please be aware that the financial team at this location uses techniques to upsell extended warranties that feel predatory. When we bought the car, the sales team tried for over ten minutes to get us to sign for an optional warranty by circling back after each no and making the package sound mandatory. In my feedback about the sale, I told them this was behavior that preyed on customers who perhaps arent as well informed as we were. The rest of the sales experience was top notch, but the finance teams tactics felt bullying and misleading. We stood our ground, but I fear that a lot of people believe they have to sign up for expensiveand frankly, unnecessarywarranties. Now that three years have passed, ************* of Manchester is pushing the extended warranties via email. I tried to respond directly, but the email bounced. They're using collection vocabulary such as "third attempt" to make it seem like a response is mandatory, which feels like they're leveraging anxiety to fuel sales. Replying to the email results in a bounce back and there's no simple way to remove my name from the list--there's a convoluted third party app that's asking for an awful lot of personal information for a simple unsubscribe. I understand capitalism involves marketing, but surely theres something that can be done about predatory campaigns like this one. At the very least, I can warn folks that extended warranties are always optional!Ira Motor Group Response

Thank you for your kind words about our sales staff, we appreciate the positive feedback. The opinion you have regarding warranty coverage is not shared by all, but we respect your individual opinion. Self insuring is something that not all customers can afford to do and prefer to be covered. Over many years, we have had countless customers thanking us for educating them on the benefits of additional warranty coverage as they were able to save significant out of pocket expenses further down the road in their ownership experience. The additional requests are, unfortunately, form an outside 3rd party vendor that tries to mimic the request from us. They obtain their information straight through the registry and not from our company. Unfortunately, they can easily obtain this information.Review from Scott G

I recently went to *** to have the drivers side window diagnosed, it would not roll down. In April I had an appointment to have it diagnosed. After waiting nearly 2 hours I was told the issue was with the drivers side *********************************** The parts were ordered & a second appointment made. Arrived for the repair appointment, wait nearly 45 mins, only to be told the wrong part was ordered. The correct part was ordered & a third appointment was made. Again, nearly waiting two hours. I was finally brought out to the bay & told the issue was with in the door wiring ******************** I was then charged nearly $1000 for the replacement part & that I would be called when replacement harness was in. After waiting nearly two weeks I called the service department for an update. Was told the part has been on the shelf for about week & a fourth appointment was made. Arrived at the fourth appointment, waited for about another 45 minutes, when I was told the part was damaged, & it would be proximity 6-12 weeks for another part to be delivered. Then I was escorted out the back lot to my vehicle where the protective coverings were not even removed. Before wasting any more time as well as to verify ***s Technicians findings, I took my vehicle to an independent certified mechanic. In a matter of a couple hours, he had diagnosed the issue, there was no power getting to the door harness. I am no machine, however I do have a mechanical / electrical aptitude. I can say when comes to trouble shooting, following a couple simply procedure of a simple procedure prior to recommending parts be replaced it crucial. First procedure being taking a volt ohm meter to ensure voltage is present at a connector prior to an electrical motor. The second simply procedure of testing the motor itself by connecting motor terminal to a to a 9 -12volt battery. Windows goes up or down eliminating the window motor or regulator is faulty parts & unnecessary cost to the customerIra Motor Group Response

Thank you for your review. I have researched this and found that there are some key components missing in this review ...
Your initial visit was on 3/29/24 and you received a MPI (Multi Point Inspection) with one of the items being requested to diagnose window along with several other recommendations. You declined all.
Second visit 4/12 (Friday) you arrived to have the window diagnose done. Same tech created a video and photos of a melted connector between window motor and regulator. Also brought you to show exactly what happened.
Tech had to order parts and the repair was completed on 4/16 (Tuesday).
This repair did not solve the issue but was necessary regardless for the window to ultimately function. As stated in the video and in person you were told this may not be the entire issue but until this step is complete, we would not know. This was told to you and emailed in video. We then told of the next step was to replace the pig tail and door harness. You agreed and took the truck home.
Appointment was set for 5/6 but the advisor did not ensure parts arrived in time for the appt. Client left and never returned. Parts are on our shelf still.
Looks like the tech did recommend the correct path to diagnosis and alerted the client in person as well as in video that more diagnosing may be required. Where we dropped the ball was not checking on the parts arrival before clients set appt, which we apologize for this oversight.
The shop you took it to obviously knew what was next as we had already had diagnosed and explained it to you of the next step..Review from Gary Y

I had called 15 minutes before the dealership closed on April 20th, 2024 to check on the availability of a specific car. They told me that it was there and asked if I wanted to make an appointment to test drive it. I told them I was driving down from ***** and again asked if it was on the lot. They assured me it was. They said they opened at 11a in the morning so I made the appointment for that time. They also called while in route to confirm that I was still going to make the appointment, which I said I was. Once we arrived, they asking odd questions to which I replied I am here to see a specific car. They asked to copy my license for a test drive, after about 15 minutes the salesmen and the sales manager came and said oops, sorry it was sold last night. We called a few days later and we were told again that is was available, even though it is not. As of today, 27APR24 the car is still listed as av available on there site. This is ver dishonest at best and flat out fraud at worst. Do not trust what this dealership has on their website or what they tell you.Review from Katherine L

I am completely unhappy about the experience I have had with this company.I purchased a 2020 ***** CRV in 2021 from the showroom floor in ****, ***** ( formerly Prime) At time off purchase I purchased several additional warranty services contracts as I am a handicapped widow and didn't have anyone to assist me with car care or repair.I moved to ******* in May 2023 and was unable to find any dealership or company to honor the warranties here. After contacting the warranty company I was told I could cancel these warranties and get a refund. I did cancel at the end of December 2023 and have still not gotten the refund of over $3,000.I kept calling and getting promises but never got anyone to follow through. I finally reached out to someone in corporate who promised that he would help. I did finally get two phone calls from the ****, ***** office that day but still had no results.Later, I was told a check had been sent. When I received the check the envelope and contents had clearly been tampered with so that when I opened the check to cash it the numbers from the routing numbers came off and it was not able to be processed .I contacted the company again and was told that they could issue a new check and send it overnight mail. When I talked with someone at the accounting office they asked me for the pictures that I took of the damaged check including the envelope where you could see that the numbers from the check itself had been so compressed it stuck to the envelope and ripped off the check itself. I was told by ***************** from the accounting office that she would look into it. Months have gone by and I still have not received any communication or replacement check from IRA ************************ will NEVER purchase another ***** vehicle or purchase from the IRA ******************** of dealerships. They clearly are quick to take your funds but very slow and deliberate not to return them I think this business is a sham and they are thieves. DON'T EVER PURCHASE FROM THEMReview from Annie T

I agree with the fellow customer below my check egine light came on in least than 15 minutes. After leaving the parking lot. I recommend everyone reach out to the attorney general to look into the dealership. I never have proof and took pictures the same day with a stamp time. I contacted bbb and wanted for a response they had my car for over a month and change. This place is a scam. Them after they got my money and i said the light is on. They said i recommend not to put money in it but get a new car. report them. Its time. At least they will start to be looked at and on noticedIra Motor Group Response

Without more details for both the business and consumers viewing this, it is hard to determine what caused this situation. Check Engine Lights come on for a variety of reasons without prior warning as it is usually triggered by an internal component. Based on the suggestion to not put money into the vehicle, I would have to assume it is an older high mileage vehicle, in which case Check Engine Lights are very common.Review from Ny M

If I could give this dealership a 0 star I would!Yesterday, I emailed the dealership and they confirmed that the truck was available. So I took the 1 hour ride there. Test drove it and came to an agreement on pricing. Signed paperwork, finance paperwork, signed my title over, wrote a check for taxes, etc etc.At this point its been 3 hours since Ive arrived. After all of this, I was told I couldnt take the truck home and someone would be in contact. So I make the 1 hour drive back home. I then get a phone call explaining that the truck was already sold which is why I couldnt take it home and to contact my bank because the dealership had already processed the check that I had written out to them.I then had to contact my bank who charged me $25 to stop payment on the check.I have since received a reimbursement check from the dealership but this type of sales practice is unacceptable. Very shady business practice. Yesterday was a complete waste of my day!Voiced my concerns about this with the General Manager ************************* who doesnt seem to about the issue.Ira Motor Group Response

**:
Thank you for reaching out to advise of this issue. On behalf of our company, I sincerely apologize this took place. This is certainly something that does not happen, but we also have humans that work for us and errors do occasionally occur. We have addressed those responsible for failing in the process to secure a vehicle that is already sold, just waiting for delivery and made appropriate corrections to the process so this never happens again.
I certainly understand your frustration with our store in *******, but please understand this was an unintentional error and we are deeply sorry this happened.
Please reach out to me directly should you wish to discuss or need anything further.

Up until 1/29/24I will never own another ******** in *************. I went to Hanover to get my car updated I needed 4 new tires, grade A oil change, front brakes and rotors. *****! Who set me up with a Lyft home, spoke to me about her horse her truck that needs tires and how her boyfriend who owns a ******** has drove his car with an engine light on for almost a year. That conversation (she was having with herself) I sat quietly as she typed on her computer soon after I was asked to wait for my LYFT in waiting area. I did just that, 6-7 hours later, Im there paying $2,800+ to go home the next day, to have my engine light come. Independently, I had a diagnostic test done, then called them for the 2nd time (I called the night before) to see if they can reset my sensor, since my car wasnt running hot or acting strange as I drove it. At first I just left my car waiting on diagnostic from them 20 mins later no results, I had an appointment the mechanic has my car it takes 2 mins to run the diagnostic test. So I went back to *****, she looked at me frowned, put her phone in her draw, then sarcastically said I havent heard yet. I put the paper on her desk and said it needs ( ) she hopped up okay let me check, I waited 5 mins, then left to go to waiting area, mind you the dealership is under construction so windows are block and you are separated from your car and the service workers. I sat 15 mins then went back to *****, my car was outside ready for me but she didnt inform me to come to get my car instead she got on her computer typing something when she saw me, she handed me my keys again sarcastically and shouted (there was other customers) yes it was ( ) and thats going to be roughly on the low end $2,200. One thing about a ******** you get warned when parts are going when my air in my tires are low the car tells me, I have not had any warning about this issue , my owner manual states I will be warned. Now, my car isnt running, Im on a bus. MoneyhogsIra Motor Group Response

Very poor service after the sale, botched each of the service appointments I scheduled. Horrible operation systems. Sales ***** cant effectively work with service ***** manager promised follow up calls and to comp some services, but never followed through. Worst experience to date in my 40 years of experience with many different service centers. Not trustworthy, not competent with basic customer service practices, not competent with communication. Service I was seeking wasnt even mechanical, it was a simple installation. ***** buyers beware.
